Royal Rumble 2015 LD

I'm not blaming the fans for booing. I can see why. Their favorite was eliminated in what, 10 minutes? Whoever came up with that need to be fired ASAP. Daniel didn't need to win, but he could have at least made it until the final four.

And what the fuck are we still doing booking Big Show and Kane as super strong. Thanks for treating Bray and Dean as rag dolls. Fucking morons.

Lol @ the WWE for even booking the Rumble in Philly

This here was the real dumbass thing to do, and the WWE did it. They booked a Rumble in a smark city. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they expected this reaction and frankly don't care. After all, Cena was the face in the 3-way and got roundly booed regardless of what he did. The WWE Choice will never be universally popular in terms of Live Crowds, and that is to be expected.

Personally, I'm digging Reigns vs Lesnar and am looking forward to seeing how they build it. The main question coming out of this PPV is, how will 'non-smark' cities react to Roman Reigns' Rumble win starting tomorrow night, and how will the WWE combat the possibility of him being widely booed?

Hardcore wrestling fans prove year after year how fucking stupid they are. Last year, they lose their minds for Reigns. This year, apparently after discovering he has muscles and his name isn't Daniel Bryan, they turn on him.

Wresling fans have never been the top of the class pool, but they really proved how fucking idiotic they can be.

^ This.

I'm talking about fans being crybaby bitches, not WWE's shitty booking (which it was). Booing EVERYONE because one fucking person doesn't win shows how stupid people can be.

I guess the contingency plan if Roman does keep getting booed is to have Lesnar be the face at Mania. Jesus Christ, this has been a fuck up in a lot of ways. Raw should be good tomorrow at the very least. Orton should return and we should see Triple H confirm his own match for Mania.

Things that should have happened in this Rumble (and could have):
1. Mizdow eliminating The Miz.
2. Both members of Team 3D in the ring, working a quick tag match versus Gold-Star.
3. The Wyatt family reforming, and getting ready to get over New Day.
4. The Gold-Star duo exploding.
5. Jack Swagger eliminating Rusev.
6. Cesaro eliminating Big Show.
7. Reigns eliminating all three of the Wyatt Family.
8. A longer run for Daniel Bryan.
9. Randy Orton winning the Rumble to face Lesnar in a fresh match.
10. Less jobbers and cameos for such long stretches.

Either way, had Bryan lasted till the end or not, as long as Reigns won, he was going to be booed regardless, as the crowd was in "Bryan wins, or we riot" mode.

As for Kane and Big Show. I agree wholeheartedly, that was dumbass booking by the WWE. I can't understand why those 2 big oafs still have to be booked as though they actually matter...

At the end tho, Pity Roman Reigns in all of this. He's not in charge of booking, but you can be damn sure, he takes all the heat for it, regardless.

Well, I'll call it now. Reigns beats Lesnar after being sold as an underdog, and Rollins cashes in after the match. I hope I'm wrong because that's Booking 101.

But it just pissed off the fans even more that he was eliminated so early in the match. At least he would have made it to the end and could have been eliminated by Bray later on.

Yes, the fans are shit because last year they love Roman and this year they hate him because Daniel Bryan doesn't win everything in the world, but that booking just totally destroyed Reigns, Wyatt, Ambrose, and Ziggler.

Fucking stupid booking of the main event aside, this was a fine show. I'll do a write-ups tomorrow, but on a positive notes, Lesnar/Cena/Rollins is the early match of the year candidate.

The difference here, though? Reigns won't continue to get booed like Batista was. He still gets pops in front of real crowds.

Still, can't believe they fucking booked the show in Philly and thought that this was going to work.

:banghead:

Whoever came up with that idea should be fired on the spot... take into consideration that Cena did rather well in the 3-way, and still he got roundly booed for everything he did.

I just wonder how other crowds(especially casuals) will react to Reigns and how the WWE will book him to make sure he goes against Lesnar as the true babyface in that match.

btw, was that blood around Roman Reigns' mouth?

Granted but at the same time WWE has to listen when the WWE Universe is screaming at them for what they want but more importantly they need to listen when they fans are screaming for what they don't want.

Instead of the WWE pushing guys and telling the fans who to like they should listen to what the fans like and push accordingly. The most over draws were the ones that the fans got behind before they became top dog, the ones the fans forced to like usually don't make it far.

The #1 mistake WWE made was having Bryan return before the rumble. He should have returned tomorrow night on Raw.

Yeah, guy was out for such a long time and makes a surprise Rumble return announcement only to be gone in less than 10 mins. Definitely the biggest misstep they made here.

My problem here is how predictable that was. As soon as Bryan was out, you knew who was winning and pretty much who he was eliminating (forget Rusev) to get there.

I haven't seen consistent positive fan support, like that for Bryan, since Austin. And honestly, the WWE will do nothing with it. Shame really.

The Stooges are playing the new WWE Immortals game when Randy Orton comes in to ask why they’re not helping him get ready. He’s tired of being called the future and wants to be the present.

I wanted him too, KB. I wanted him too.
