I just noticed that every year, this song becomes popular again. This usually happens around summer. Do you guys think that this song is any good? Because I like it (I don't know why, because it annoys the hell out of me)

Annoying fucking song. Lyrics are all about what he would do if he was a rockstar, and they are bland and boring. Very talented band, but this song just sucks. He is a rockstar with many hit songs, but this song is repetitive not just with the words, but the direction this song goes.

I think it's a nice song. Everyone has had the fantasy of being a rockstar. I don't see what you're trying to say with it being repetitive. It has a chorus, like all songs do, but the song direction goes from glorifying the rockstar life to the darker side of it. Besides, it's catchy.

It's garbage coming from a garbage band. So I don't really like the song, no. I don't like any of their cheesy lyrical crap though, so I might be the wrong guy to answer this.

It's catchy though, so it's obvious why it's popular.

To me, almost every Nickelback song sounds the same. I was a fan of this song for a couple of weeks after it came out, but it got old quick. The video was pretty good though, I liked how they had all the celebs in it.

Well, I hate Nickelback. So, concurrently, I hate this song. Their songs all sound the same to me, and I honestly can't stand their lead singer. He so completely can't sing. Ugh.

I just watched the music video again on mute, just for you. Feel honored. It's a poor man's "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash. He had celebrities in his music video, also. But he made it kick ass.
