Roode's being held back by the Beer Money tag team. Are Beer Money successful? Of course. Are Beer Money great together? Yes. But that still doesn't mean Roode should remain in that position, especially when he's gone as far as he can go as a tag team wrestler and everything about him screams main event star.
Another thread actually just made me think on this more and in all honesty I think Robert Roode should be the star of Fourtune. In a perfect world (but politics in wrestling stops this in many cases) AJ Styles should be the face of TNA. Styles is not a good heel, it's just not where he belongs, and when you take into account his strengths, when you take into account the fans, and when you take into account that he was PWI's Number one ranked wrestler in the world he should not only be the FACE of TNA, but in the main event competing for it's World championship. Styles should be eliminted from Fourtune, turned face, and Robert Roode should take his spot. Roode would be far more effective in that role, because he's a natural heel. Hell, he was even wearing robes and carrying on in a similar fashion to the Horsemen during his singles run. He would be the perfect fit, out of everyone on TNA's roster right now. The guy has the entire package and it's being wasted in a tag team, with him standing behind others like Styles and Flair and unable to really shine.
