Rise of the Planet of the Apes (This is awesome watch the trailer)

I saw the trailer for this movie on TV last night and I'm stoked about it (Which is not something that usually happens with me and movies)

Its not really about the planet of the apes movies as we know them but sort of a new thing

So the plot is that scientists are trying to find a cure for alzheimers and are testing on a monkey , it actually makes the monkey become so intellegent he breaks free and spreads the cure to other monkeys and they try to overthrow humanity and take over the world. AWESOME

Seriously , I can't wait to see this. This is like something I feel like I would have come up with myself if I was writing scripts for movies. Monkeys taking over the world is just TOO awesome of an idea for a movie

yes, that movie is going to be just an awesome movie to watch . The apes in the movie as I found from the trailers seems interesting in the movie. I hope the movie will also be as interesting as it seem from the trailers. I saw the trailers of this movie online. Now I am planning to Watch Rise of the planet of the apes movie when it releases.

I can't make a thread to review about this movie so I'm just going to post in here. I watched it today with my girlfriend and I liked it a lot. My girlfriend on the other hand, took too hard on the animal cruelty and hated it. I feel like Dr. Rodman (Franco) was out to do a good thing for the world but his personal dreams got in the way and he got carried away. It shows that no matter what good you're trying to do, you still have to be careful so you don't screw up and hurt more people than help along the way. Now, looking at the movie instead of the plot, the apes looked rather life-like. You could tell they were animated but not by much. You could really see a connection with Rodman and Caesar, especially with Rodman's dad and Caesar. You could really see anger in the apes as they started their takeover and it got me into it a lot. Also, the movie showed how smart apes really are, how animals still have feelings too and some decent action scenes in it as well. I recommend it for those who like sci-fi movies for sure

to me this movie looks like its gonna be 1 of those movies thats a total bust or an amazing movie i dont like the idea there for i most likley will not be going to see this movie although if my friends wanted to go see it id consider going the trailer does draw some interest

I saw this movie last week and I loved it. When I saw the trailer I thought it looked cool, but that it was going to be one of those movies that was either really good or really bad and although I thought it looked cool, I was leaning toward it being really bad. That probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but I rarely do...anyway, it ended up being way better than I thought. I had a feeling it was going to be more effects driven than story driven, but I found the story to be really interesting and the connection between Ceasar and Rodman was great. There were even times where I found myself tearing up, especially when stupid like Draco Malfoy was being a bitch to the apes haha. Anyway, I definitely recommend it. I thought it was great!

I watched it this weekend and did not think I would like it but was pleasantly surprised by it being pretty good. I hated the original movie, thought it was one of the stupidest films I had ever seen. The 2001 remake was a little better. This new one however did a great job of explaining how everything started and it proved that sometimes prequels are better due to good story telling done correctly.

Same story for me as JW's Girl and Dagger, at first I was a tad sceptical about whether it would be any good but I was happily surprised at how good it was. It has alot of sad touchy feely stuff throughout most of the movie which wasn't bad but when it got to the action it was absolutely amazing. Very good movie, definitely check it out!
