Bear with me here. As we know, this 7 on 7 match at Summerslam is almost guaranteed to have a big turn. We've heard rumblings of Cena turning, Bret turning, even John Morrison turning. These theories have one thing in common: Someone on team Raw's gonna turn. What if we're going about it the wrong way?

Here's my thought: What if someone on Nexus turns on the others? It wouldn't necessarily have to be a face turn but it certainly would cripple the faction from the inside. My pick if that were to happen: Wade Barrett. I find it very hard to believe that a man who spent the better part of the 1st season of NXT insulting the other rookies and doing whatever it took to get to that guaranteed title shot would suddenly band with said rookies to get them ALL on the RAW roster.

So I leave it to you. Is this too far out of left field to be bookable? Or is this just the stunt creative would pull to swerve us?

I voted for "some other Raw member". A couple reasons. First, I just don't think they are fully commited to turning Cena just yet. I mean obviously (to most) he will have to turn at some point, but this storyline is drawing WAAY to much for him to turn so soon. Plus, he still sells his T-Shirts, so no, not yet. Bret isn't going to go for a heel turn because at any given moment, he could be off T.V. for good. Any little injury and he's done. Granted, he could still come out and talk, but I just don't think he would be up for a heel turn this late in the game.
Now, the NEXUS angle is the biggest thing to hit wrestling since the nWo and they are NOT repeat NOT removing Barrett as the head rookie any time soon. They may eventually have a Pro as the "true" leader, but Barrett will still be the top rookie....FACT

That being said, I do think someone from the WWE team will turn, OR there will be a surprise return of a face to save the day, who then turns on team WWE. I will say this, i think (OP) you've come up w/a pretty cool thread to let people throw out ideas, as everyone seems like they are on the edge of their seats waiting patiently to see what happens.

I guess since I am still not a fan of the angle, I would love it if Wade turns on the other dudes. I mean, he won the show, so why should he hang out with 6 other losers? The number 1 draft pick doesn't hang out with the people who didn't get drafted until the team decides to sign them all..

It's almost getting to a point where I don't want anyone to turn. So many predictions have been made (by myself as well) about someone turning that it's to a point where it wouldn't even be a surprise anymore. It's just a matter of seeing who it is. But at the same time I don't wanna see Nexus beat Raw clean. How believable is that? 7 rookies beat 7 of the best? That would turn me off to the whole angle immediately.

So since I hope something like this has to happen for Nexus to believably win I'll answer. I'd have to say Bret Hart. I don't think Cena's turn is happening quite yet. I would've loved to see it at the beginning, but at this point, after all the beatings it would be kind of difficult to explain. If you can't beat em, join em is just a little too cliche.

I say Bret because just picture Cena and Bret left vs. Barrett, Sheffield and Gabriel. Bret has barely gotten in at this point for obvious reasons, Cena has Nexus on the ropes but suddenly there's a double tag segment, like we see in regular tag matches all the time. Both go for their respective tags and suddenly Bret pulls his hand away. Cena is stunned, looking on and suddenly Barrett beats Cena and gets the victory. This is followed by them destroying Cena. Hart can get some chair shots in there to throw in some extra heat on him. The rest of Nexus runs out to assist in the beatdown. Maybe some Raw guys come to aid, but Nexus and Bret beat them away. At the end you have Nexus standing in the ring with Bret raising all hands and they go off the air.

Just something that could work. Especially with HHH being out since I think they could pull off something better with him.

i still say with all of us talking about it and that being the rumor, wwe is gunna change that, but i think the oly reason they put hart in there is for cena to turn, i mean i have said it before if he attacks someone on his team aside from hart wouldnt really cement the idea or make that big of an impact since they are pretty much all heels, the only one there to draw real heat from cena doing that would be hart, i see something unexpected as there has been way to much talk of this being cena, its gunna be a swerve

I dont see a cena or hhh turn or even bret hart why because i agree with chair shot reality having a seasoned vet such as cena or hhh would deminish the whole "were a group of angry rookies who are mad at wwe management" angle because then the question becomes if ur mad at the company why are you working with one of the two biggest faces in the wwe honestly i have no clue who it will be at SS or if there will even be a turn either way i cant wait for SS its gonna be AWESOME

I think that Bret Hart makes the most sense, otherwise why really even have him in the match? As has been said in numerous Bret Hart threads over the past 6 months or so, Bret Hart just isn't physically able to go in the ring anymore. The man's a multiple stroke victim and the after effects of said strokes are going to dramatically reduce what he's both able to do and able to take inside the ring.

Having Bret Hart go heel is an opportunity to make good use of his presence and the fact that he's a wrestling legend. Just by being associated with Bret Hart, The Nexus gets a rub and feels all that much more legitimate. Since Bret Hart can't really compete in the ring anymore, having him work with The Nexus in a manager/mentor type of capacity will give him something signifigant to be part of and could possibly be the beginning of The Nexus being a long term faction in the WWE. Since coming back to the WWE, Bret Hart has been booked in ways that haven't made him the overall center of attention on Raw. His presence hasn't taken anything away from any other angles or stories going on and, if the plan is to turn him heel at SummerSlam, that's the way to book him as a manager/mentor of Nexus. He can be a contributing factor, but he doesn't have to try and overshadow Nexus. It worked with JJ Dillon and the Four Horsemen and it could work here.

I didnt even vote because its pretty stupid no offense. Would it be that shocking if no one turned and either WWE or Nexus just got a one up over the other without anything happening? The IWC thinks with every fucking angle Cena is in he could turn heel by doing this or that. Even if Cena did turn heel wtf would it do? Ya people who despise him would be all "this is great Cena is heel!" then like 2 weeks later people would get sick of him again. You cant please everyone thats how pro wrestling is. There is no need for Cena to turn the majority of people like Cena at least in the audiences you hear way more cheers then boos. The wwe looks at the audiences and hears their reactions they could give less of a shit then what fucking 30 year old fat guys at home who sit on their ass and talk on wrestling forums all day cause they have no life think about what their creative intentions are. Give it a rest people. No one will turn and it will be a standard 7 on 7 tag team match. The only way i would have agreed would be if triple H was coming back to be on the team and he would be the only one i could see turn heel.

I think that if Edge and Jericho don't end up reuniting with team Cena next week there could be a good chance that they would both come down to the ring and somehow cost Cena the match. Both of these guys left the group on horrible terms and loathe Cena so it wouldn't be the most farfetched thing to happen. With Edge and Jericho being the manipulative and now extremely pissed off heels that they are I would not put it past them. Jericho feels that Cena is the biggest threat to the WWE aside from Nexus and Edgicho both have huge egos so they have incentive to take Cena down so they can have the credit of destroying Nexus all for themselves. Now if they do for some reason decide to come back to the team next week after whatever unfolds in the lumberjack tag team match this could still happen but since Jericho already cost Cena a match in this way a few weeks ago it is less likely to occur.

well it is possible that Cena turns without fully turning heel, he turn on his team mates because they disbanded and "turned" on him before he did.

either that or he doesn't turn, not just yet, Bret Hart turning Heel?! yea right.

Another superstar possibly , only in the chance that Orton beats Sheamus and Wins the WWE title (still hoping for that btw) and Sheamus ( the guy who called a truce with them , remember) Turns on the other Raw superstars and joins Nexus like the same way they proposed it to Cena, since he is a heel already so it fits, and then he uses Nexus to gain 10 times what he's already done, target Orton , Cena (personal feud reasons) and the other Raw superstars.

Thats basically the only possibility of A RAW superstart turning on the team but what i think is going to happen is that Nexus are going to beat the Raw team silly and eventually Fuel Cena's Heel turn for reasons like what he stated before , if u can't beat them join them well that's still a long shot i know but i don't think that the creative can book the outcome of the match Nexus beating team Raw and fueling the Cena Heel turn.

yeah....er I've got one question: why the fuck someone is GOING to turn heel? someone said that if Nexus wins it can't be by a clea way. agree! yet, no the only way to cheat is by a betrayal. they are heels you know? they could distract the ref, use low blows, sneak attacks etc...

juts like I said before, why the nexus "needs" a leader? why can't be Barrett? why there's a need for a heel turn? why can't someone win. PERIOD! why everytime there is a new fucking angle, someone MUST HAVE a heel/face turn. STOP IT!

I think Wade is the leader. They really rammed it home on Raw. I just wish they would do more to build the fact that if Wade ain't around, the other guys are clueless. I ain't talking grabbing Skip Sheffield, that redhead and Cena's orange doppelganger and doing 3 stooges spots. I just think it would make it more interesting if the guys were a little more testy or "un"-united with each other when Barrett isn't around.

I wanted to post before I read the other posts. So what I can see happening is Miz joining team WWE (he has to have a match at summerslam and has nothing on the agenda right now) and being the man (as the future face of Raw) to turn on the WWE and lead Nexus. So I dont mean a heel to face or vice versa turn so much as "turning" on the company, This lets him be the man who dismissed Danielson - it gives him even more heat and the Nexus (just being associated with Miz will do wonders for them, he is the man of the moment) too.

This plot allows a returning Danielson to rob the Miz of the US title in a fluke before the Miz goes on to bigger and better things. It just seems like a win win situation for everyone involved. I just dont see Cena turning right now and Bret is a legend on his final swansong, he has nothing to gain by going off haed. So what I see is Miz turning on the company, something much bigger than any heel to face turn.

I say Cena'a turning on raw, because when cena turns, the loser leaves team raw match he had with jericho , plus the fact that people were cheering for jericho when he said he would target cena after ss, could lead into a rivalry with the two.

I'm not really sure but it has that kind of feel to the match. It feels like somthing significant is going to come of it whether it's a heel/face turn or some other kind of swerve.

Personally though I'd have to say Bret Hart makes the most sense. I'd love to see Cena turn but he doesn't make much sense doing so. Morrison could but I think it would be a waste, it should be a main player turning if anyone. As for Barret I don't think so, maybe Gabriel if anyone does but I don't think the Nexus is done yet, I don't think any of them will be turning. At least not for a fair while longer anyways.

So, I voted Hart simply because he makes the most sense. He can become the mentor of Nexus and provide them with a good rub and confirm them as legitimate factors on the roster. He could even turn out to be the mystery GM after all. Who knows?

Honestly, I think that John Cena will end up turning on Team WWE. They've been teasing it forever, and I think he needs a heel turn and he needs to freshen up his character. It wouldn't make sense to have Wade Barrett turn face unexpectedly, and it definitely wouldn't make sense to have Bret Hart turn on Team WWE. What's the point of that? Bret Hart turns on them, and then leaves again. He's not gonna be on WWE TV long term, so that isn't a good idea. It'll probably be Cena, although that's a bit too obvious for my liking.

I feel like it's way too cut and dried that the existing participants are going to be the major players when Raw still has two spots to fill. I think if anyone is going to turn, I'd be willing to assume that, in classic, predictable wrestling fashion, someone is going to join the team at the last minute, only to be the one who ruins it. If anyone thinks it's going to be someone like Khali, get real. It would have no impact, whatsoever. I also highly doubt it would be a surprise HHH return only for him to turn heel, because the Sheamus angle needs to be resolved, for better or for worse, and I doubt that there would be any logical outcome from that if HHH turned heel.
