Rewatching Mania

It's fucking awesome the second time around. I suggest you all do too. I'm currently at the Taker/Michaels match. It's still awesome the second time around.


Hopefully Triple H vs Orton will be better this time

Well...Triple H/Orton was actually good. When I rewatched it I turned the sound off because dead crowds are really annoying and that takes a lot away from matches. But it was actually good.



then




I turned the volume back on when I seen Orton go get the sledge hammer. The crowd popped when Orton had the hammer, but they quickly settled back down after HHH's botched punt. Orton sold it and made it look awesome though. Then after the pedigree on Orton everyone stood up, I'm guessing they thought Orton was going to kick out of it. But after the three count everyone just remained standing, with sad and disappointed looks on their face. To make things worse the camera kept panning around looking for someone that was marking out for Triple H's win, but they didnt find anyone. Just a bunch of disappointed people clapping.

That's how you know when you're good at burying people, the fans stand and clap while they look like they just seen a puppy die.

Watch the whole match with the sound on. Trips was getting good pops during the beginning of the match...like after the first pedigree. The crowd was silent at the end because it was dead. It's clear that the two aren't good together in the ring, though they seem to feud well with angles and promos.

I just got a chance to see this match, and I'm going to have to agree with CCS...the crowd was not feeling HHH. I guess we should leave this to someone who feels indifferent towards HHH.

I do feel indifferent toward Triple H. I was putting him over just to rib on CCS.

Mania is much better after watching ot the second time. Last time I didnt like it just because I was pissed off at the mainevent finish. All the matches were at least entertaining. That's what Wrestlemania is about anyway, right?

Even watching it the first time I liked it. I watched it again a couple of days ago and it was indeed better.

I liked it the first time too. But after the mainevent I was pissed and didnt care what happened on the rest of the card. After rewatching the mainevent I cant really complain at all. The finish was shit, but the rest of the match was ok. It had shitty in ring psychology, but most of the stuff Orton did in the match was pretty good. Overall it's one of the best Wrestlemania I've ever seen. (I've seen 20-25) I liked it better than 20, 22, 23, and 24.
