Mac Attack

I'm neat.
Yes this thread does suggest Undertaker wins the next to Manias, but it's never too early too talk about who will be Taker's opponent after the Game.

I believe it will be John Cena because he is the face right now. I think that this will be the match everyone wants to see and it would sell huge. I think it would be awesome to have Taker finally face off against Taker and I think the promos leading up the the match will be epic. I think this has the potential to be match of decade and I think it will draw somany people into buying Mania. I think they will be the top Superstars at next Mania and I think this match has to happen at Mania. Considering it might be the last chance to do this it would be more than appropriate to do this at Mania. I feel that this is the best possible match and it will greatly please the crowds.

Anyone else's thoughts?

First of all, they can't all literally be 20-0, but I understand what you're saying.

Kane. No..bad choice. It's obvious you just ran out of people to say, and Kane was the first one to pop in you're head. I wouldn't be surprised if Kane left the company in one to three years. Kane is just too old to have this, if you want somebody to be the next guy like this, it has to be a young star...even John Cena is a little too old to fit under this gimmick.

Which leads to the next man. John Cena. He could do it if he really wanted to..in fact..I'm pretty sure Cena didn't lose a mania match until Wrestlemania 24. I think that was the only one he lost.

Triple H? Really..that's probably even worse then Kane. If Triple H isn't done after this Wrestlemania, he's done sometime this year, or the next one. Once again, he was probably just one who popped in your head. You need young superstars. You said yourself that this thread suggests Taker winning, so why'd you even put HHH up there?

Wade Barret could be it, but I don't think he has the ability to last that long. He doesn't seem like a HBK or a Andre the Giant...he seems like a JBL or Jeff Hardy. He'll be gone in a year or two.

Edge goes for the same as Cena. But still, just a little too old to do it. It's gotta start young, young, young.

Del Rio. It really depends on his performance at Mania. I think he's a dud. That is my opinion though, I don't watch Smackdown, but I feel he isn't main event worthy, and this whole main event force is just gonna be another Swagger.

Think about a guy like Kofi Kingston, or Evan Bourne. What about the Miz? You put Triple H and Kane on there, and left out The Miz? Sheamus? Randy Orton even, he may fall under the same category as Edge and Cena..but he's still more credible. Ted or Cody too!

No actually I picked all those guys for a reason.

Kane. There was plenty of talk this year of having him being Taker's opponent. I could see this happening again and he does have the most connection with Taker so it was a possibility.

Triple H-I was thinking that possibly he could pull a Shawn Micaels and go for the streak this year then give his career next year. (Just a thought)

Cena-see original idea

Barett- giving a young a shot

Del Rio-same as Barett

Sheamus-possibly an interesting match

Sully misunderstood the question. He thought you meant one of these guys will GO 20-0 at Mania, not that they'd be the 20th Streak victim.

If Undertaker sticks around, it has to be Cena. It's the last big money matchup the Streak has.

Has to be Cena, there's nobody else.

When Undertaker teamed with Cena in the tag triple threat match with DX and JeriShow or ShowMiz, I marked out when the match finished and Taker hit Cena with the tombstone. If John Cena wants to get picky, he could always go back to that as unfinished business.

Yes exactly what I remembered from the past. One of the best moments in the recent past on Raw I think. Huge Taker mark myself. For enjoyment here it is.

Oh...yeah I completely misunderstood the question. Wow..that's a lot clearer now.

Even if did mean what I thought he did, I doubt whoever the next undertaker will be (without the gimmick) will make it to 20-0. Undertaker is on the verge of retiring, you have to have at least 20 years in the company, that's without being legit injured at Mania time. If you're 20 years old, you'd be 40 by the time you're finished. Possible, but they'd have to start young.

Not only that, but it'd also have to be a tweener sort of character too, a guy who'd be able to switch between a heel or a face whenever creative wants.

But now that I understand what you were actually getting at, most of those are good choices. Edge doesn't seem likely though, and Del Rio...no. Cena is very possible. And Kane is also very possible.

I would be the one to go out on a limb here and say The Miz. Whether he beats the Undertaker or not next year is not the matter. Remember when The Miz confronted Bret Hart? He told Hart that he was 1-0 at Wrestlemania, 17 away from The Undertaker. So, picture the scene this year at Wrestlemania. We still don't know whether Cena will win because of the Rock situation, so let's say he doesn't. That means The Miz wins and defends the WWE Championship. He is also 2-0 at Wrestlemania, again mentioning the Undertaker. When Wrestlemania 28 grows closer, The Miz constantly brings it up, over and over again. Eventually the Undertaker gives into his yapping and says, "Well lets see who's reign is truly superior". If Taker wins, he hits 20-0 and if Miz wins, he hits 3-0. Who knows, maybe it's the start of a whole new legacy from that day forward.
