I dont know how many people have heard of, or even know about this show, but I think it is easily one of the best shows on television.
For those who dont know, the show is about Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary), a New York City firefighter. The show revolves around him and his troublesome life. Tommy is often romantically/sexually involved with many women. He also must maintain his relationships with his children, and fellow firefighters. On top of all this, he is an incredible firefighter and is usually saving someone's life.
It really is a fantastic show. I enjoy it even more because I once was training to become a volunteer firefighter. It has a great mix of comedy, specifically men's humor, and dramatic story-lines. If this is your first time hearing of the show, I highly recommend checking it out, whether its watching an upcoming episode or the previous seasons on DVD.
As for the people who already watch the show, season 6 is starting and I am very excited. The cliffhanger that ended last season was never too believable, but I cant wait to see what happens anyway. The show gets better and better and I expect that trend to continue with the upcoming season.
