Jeremy Dick
Pre-Show Stalwart
From WWE.com:
"World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Rene Dupree. WWE wishes Rene all the best in his future endeavors."
If I were a betting man, I'd say Dupree was probably let go due to failing a drug test. The Benoit tragedy has really put WWE in a negative light and has gotten everybody worried about steroids, so it's only natural WWE will publicly fire some wrestlers to try and show the media they are taking measures to stop the drug problem. I think Dupree has already been in rehab, and now that he's just suddenly being fired, I think WWE may be making an example of him.
Also makes you wonder, are more firings coming soon?
