WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

"Showtime" Cougar (C) vs. Barbosa

It has been an arduous journey for both men to get to this point in their careers. Barbosa has shown how brutal he can be on many occasions, leading to questions of why he has yet to become the World Heavyweight champion? Showtime, on the other hand, has been living and breathing the World title since Kingdom Come IV, defending and chasing the title for over a year.

Now, these two stories meet together in the main event of Redemption over the richest prize in the industry. Showtime has seen and done it all but never has he had to face the threat of an unstable man like Barbosa who can snap at any second. In the midst of realising who his opponent really is, Showtime has developed a more dangerous and violent side to himself, becoming a little more reckless than the usual cool demeanour of Showtime. He has seemingly transitioned himself to the unpredictable level of Barbosa but has his newly-adapted psyche been enough to keep Barbosa at bay?

Showtime will be in the fight of his life as Barbosa has his eyes focused on the prize, the World Championship, that he only got to hold for merely days when he was World Champion and he'll be looking to keep it on his shoulders for a very, very long time.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saboteur & ??? (C) vs. Celeste Crimson & Steven Holmes

Action Saxton, one half of the WZCW World Tag Team Champions, retired at Kingdom Come V when he & Saboteur successfully defended the titles against Rush & Sam Smith. After the match, Saxton awarded Saboteur his title belt, leaving him to be the sole owner of the titles. Not on Vance Bateman's watch though: he has decreed that Saboteur cannot defend the titles by himself and must get his tag team partne to which Saboteur swears he has for his title match.

He's going to need his tag team partner too as the former World champion Steven Holmes has been irate ever since losing the title, making it his own personal business to take out the nonsense in WZCW such as Saboteur. He and his girlfriend Celeste Crimson have been a thorn in his side for the past few weeks and have demanded to be the team to take out Saboteur & restore the titles to their former glory.

Will Saboteur & his partner be able to defend the titles or will Steven Holmes & Celeste Crimson become the newest champions, effectively making Celeste Crimson the first ever female champion in WZCW history?

EURASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Chris K.O (C) vs. James Howard vs. Mikey Stormrage

It was only a few weeks ago that Mikey Stormrage & James Howard were teaming together, united under one common goal and fighting alongside each other as best friends. Now... the game has changed, with no help to the devious Chris K.O who has almost roped this situation into a neat, little package.

Stormrage seemingly disappeared from sight apart from wrestling a few matches for WZCW, growing many concerns from James Howard. After searching his home and trying numerous times to contact him, Stormrage has been distant from life around him and has transformed into a new man. During this time, Eurasian champion Chris K.O saw this emotional distraction of Howard as an opportunity, making sure Howard's wrestling career became rather difficult. Howard has had to split his focus in half with one eye watching for K.O and the other spent searching for Stormrage.

These elements will come to a head at Redemption as K.O is putting the title on the line against both members of Strikeforce. Has K.O created the perfect opportunity to defend his title and hold onto it for a few more weeks or has he dug his grave too early, allowing the emotional toll between Stormrage & Howard to win the Eurasian title?

MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP
Mayhem Rules

Vega (C) vs. Titus

After months and months of Vega making his issues known about the lack of competition, WZCW finally answered his prayers and has been giving Vega the best competition there is... but seemingly has fallen short during his encounters with the best of the best. Angry and unfulfilled, the Mayhem champion has blamed all his troubles and the hypocrisy he has received on the soon-to-be WZCW Legend Titus who was receiving all the fanfare in the world despite losing his title match at Kingdom Come V.

Vega decided to make things personal and assaulted Titus, making him an example to everyone on the WZCW roster and management that he needs to be respected. However, what he didn't anticipate was the fight that Titus would bring back to Vega, reminding Vega that he picked the wrong person to make an example out of. After the retaliation, it had been settled that the two would take each other on in a fight that neither man could resist - a Mayhem rules contest.

With the Mayhem title on the line, the stakes could never be higher: the longest reigning Mayhem champion will get his toughest challenger yet and will be looking to show why he is the best but Titus has never held the Mayhem title, one of the only titles left for the legend to add to his resume. Both men will throw everything, and anything, at each other to walk out as the Mayhem champion come Redemption.

ELITE X CHAMPIONSHIP
First Defense

S.H.I.T (C) vs. Matt Tastic

Matt Tastic earned his championship opportunity by defeating three other superstars on Ascension but shortly after his victory, Vance Bateman announced the updated rules for the Elite X Championship which will begin at Redemption:

"The Elite X champion must defend the title in every match he participates in and will do so for 7 straight rounds, should he managed to retain every week. Once the Elite X champion successfully defends the title on the 7th round, he will forfeit the championship and be granted a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship."

Should S.H.I.T retain, he will be one match closer to a World title shot. However, should Tastic win, the counter will be reset and will have to endure 7 different challengers to get his title win. Both men will need to step up their game should they wish to see a World title in their near future.

Submissions Count Anywhere
Special Guest Referee: Sandy Deserts

Dr. Zeus vs. Steven Kurtesy

It has been nothing but a psychological warfare between Steven Kurtesy & Dr. Zeus over the last couple of months. Zeus has been calling out and begging Kurtesy to come out from his hiding spot to face him in a showdown. Ignored at first, Zeus used Kurtesy's colleague Sandy Deserts as bait, tormenting and damaging her to lure out Kurtesy who eventually appeared at Kingdom Come V.

With that knowledge in tow, Zeus has been doing whatever is necessary to bring Kurtesy back as an active wrestler to WZCW and goad him into facing him. As of Aftershock, Zeus got his wish and the two psychology geniuses will be squaring off against each other in a habitat both men are comfortable with - a Submissions Count Anywhere match. Zeus has suffered only one loss since his inception to the company whilst Kurtesy is red-hot after his return victory as well as being the only man to have a winning record in the Submissions Count Anywhere match.

As a last minute addition, the conflicted Sandy Deserts will act as special guest referee for the match and will be expected to call the match down the middle but does she possess the power to keep her true feelings aside? Only time will tell when these two clash throughout the AT&T Arena.

Drake Callahan vs. David Whitman

In a bold statement made by the former World Heavyweight Champion, Drake Callahan warned that he will be the man to take down the evil known as the Sacrificial Altar. Thus far, Callahan has already managed to temporarily remove D.C from the equation and is looking to continue the dwindling numbers of the Altar.

When Callahan laid down the challenge to take the Altar on at Redemption, David Whitman was the man to step up and be the man to represent the team. Whitman will be looking to deliver a cold plate of revenge to Callahan after not losing to him within recent weeks but also the injuries of fellow member D.C.

Will Callahan continue his quest to take down every member of the Altar one by one or can Whitman stop him in his tracks?

Los Magnificos Dragones vs. The Sacrificial Altar
(Amber Warren & El Califa Dragon) vs. (Grand Mystique & Mason Westhoff)

Recently debuting tag team, known as the Magnificent Dragons, have exploded onto the tag team scene, not missing a victory ever since their inception. Amber Warren has developed a long-lasting winning streak and doesn't appear to see any signs of slowing down, especially with El Califa as her mentor.

However, it seems recent competition has caught themselves up in the mix of the Sacrificial Altar where Amber Warren & El Califa were assaulted by David Whitman, following his loss at Ascension against the aforementioned female competitor. Wanting revenge, Warren & Califa will team up to take on the two other remaining members of the Sacrificial Altar, the Grand Mystique & Mason Westhoff, in tag team action.

Gold Rush Tournament: Finals
??? vs. ???

Gold Rush Tournament: Semi-Finals

The Beard vs. Blade
Ricky Runn vs. Krypto

This is the dream that these four competitors have slaved over for the past 6 weeks - an opportunity to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Redemption, despite the setbacks involved with the Gold Rush tournament.

All four men will be definitely bringing their "A" game as they not only have to go through their opponents but also the winner of the opposing match later on in the night, effectively needing to win two matches in one night to earn the golden opportunity. It is going to be a difficult task to pull off and only the strongest will survive.

Can Krypto finally get his hands on his first real championship opportunity and prove everybody why he is the ultimate underdog? Is Ricky's newfound lifestyle the key to reaching the top, teaching everybody how powerful swag truly is? Will the Beard finally remove the stigma of gimmick & tag team competitions as his forte? Or will the long-standing Blade be able to break through the glass ceiling and claim the throne he's always desired?

With the addition of the new Elite X title rules, the WZCW Board of Directors need to find the next challenger for the Elite X champion, regardless of who wins at Redemption. So, every current member of the WZCW roster who isn't in a match for the PPV will participate in their own match(es) where the winner(s) will become the new contender(s) for the Elite X championship. Here is a list of the following names that will be involved in the match(es):

Ace Stevens
Bobby Adams
Doctor Coberer
Dustin Hunter
Fallout
Garth Black
Grizzly Bob
Isabel Stone
Joey Sexton
Justin Cooper
Theron Daggershield

What could the match(es) be? A 12 Man Battle Royale? Multiple multi-man matches? The only thing that is known is that when the dust settles, the Elite X champion will have his hands full with one or more of these names as potential contenders within the coming weeks leading up to Apocalypse.
