Rebooking Survivor Series 1997

I’m assuming since the Survivor Series is over and we’re headed to the TLC, that MMK isn’t going to continue this series. Since I’ve typed up “Rebooking Survivor Series” up to 2001, I thought I’d continue it. Here goes my version of Survivor Series 1997.

The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) and The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Goddwinn)

The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) and The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Windham and Blackjack Bradshaw)

The Disciples of Apocalypse – Crush, Chainz, 8-Ball and Skull
vs.
The Truth Commission – The Jackyl, The Interrogator, Sniper and Recon

Team USA – Vader, Goldust, Marc Mero and Steve Blackman (with Sable)
vs.
Team Canada – The British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon

The Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal), Ahmed Johnson and Ken Shamrock
vs.
The Nation of Domination – The Rock, Faarooq, Kama Mustafa and D'Lo Brown

The Attitudes – Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind and Hunter Hearst Helmsley
vs.
Harts and Souls – The Hart Brothers (Bret the Hitman Hart and Owen Hart), and the Brothers of Destruction (Undertaker and Kane) (with Paul Bearer)

I tried to keep everyone that was on the original card on my version. Instead of four 4-on-4 traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team matches, and 3 singles matches, I made it five 4-on-4 matches.

5.Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Owen Hart © to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

6.Team A (Ken Shamrock and Billy Gunn) def. Team B (The British Bulldog & Road Dogg & Crush) in an “Ultimate Survivors” Three on Two Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match where the ultimate survivor\s will get a future WWF Championship shot.

Ultimate Survivor: Ken Shamrock.

7.Shawn Michaels def. Bret Hart © to win the WWF Championship.

Note: Shamrock got his title shot in the next PPV - D-Generation X: In Your House and won the match via a Disqualification but did not win the title (like in reality - but here you justify his quick jump into the main event scene).

There isn't much on this Survivor Series I'd rebook.

The only changes I would make to the card are The Disciples Of Apocalypse vs. Los Boricuas. Those two factions were mainly feuding with each other in the "Gang Warz" storyline. I thought it was odd that Los Boricuas were left off the Survivor Series "Gang Warz" card. Their stable was one of the faces of the "Gang Warz" storyline.

And I would've had The Truth Commission just squash a bunch of jobbers or Light Heavyweight wrestlers in a "David vs. Goliath" Survivor Series match.
