Rebook the road to WrestleMania 32

Getting Noticed By Management
Hey guys,
So with WM 35 coming in close, I thought and realized how much of a waste was WM 32.
And then I thought to myself - how it would have been done better.

But a few rules:
A. Roman Reigns must get his coronation in the show.
B. You cannot use injured wrestlers, or people who were on the show in a non-wrestling capacity as active performers in matches.
C. The show should be 9-10 matches long for the main card (more is really too long).
D. You can start to rebook from Survivor Series 2015 - everything that happened before stays the same.

WrestleMania 32

** WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs Roman Reigns **

So for Roman Reigns's rival we need someone who is really hated. Brock was the right man for the job.
We start from Survivor Series 2015, which ends the same: Reigns wins the belt, and gets cashed in on by Sheamus. If you can recall during this period Roman actually got cheered. So at TLC 2015 we have Roman come up short after LON cost him the match.
Then at the 2016 Royal Rumble we have the WWE Championship Rumble Match, Roman starts at #1, and gets to the final four with Lesnar (who is out of the ring because of an attack by Reigns and Ambrose), Sheamus and Ambrose. Ambrose is eliminated by Sheamus. Then we have Reigns and Sheamus square off, the crowd is hot for Roman, who eliminates Sheamus, the crowd cheeres, but then Lesnar comes from behind him and eliminates him for the victory.
Then the feud builds itself - the revenge of Roman vs The Beast. (Meanwhile at Fastlane we have an Unsanctioned Non Title Match between Lesnar and Ambrose, after Lesnar hospitalizes Roman.)
At WrestleMania Roman gets his win, and WrestleMania ends with him and Ambrose celebrating. Then on the night after WrestleMania's Raw, the main event is a tag match with Roman and Dean vs any heel tandem (possibly Sheamus and Del Rio), with Dean turning on Roman, leading to their feud - which will lead to The Shield's triple threat.

Winner: Roman Reigns

** Hell In A Cell Match with Vince McMahon as the Special Guest Referee: Triple H vs Shane McMahon - Winner gets control over WWE **
This will make sense. We start from before the royal rumble 2016, when Vince makes outrageous decisions like the WWE title rumble match and more. Then on the opening of the 2016 Royal Rumble, Vince is in the ring and he announces that after WrestleMania 32, he will no longer be in charge of the daily operation of the WWE, and that by WrestleMania he will find his replacement.
Then on the Raw after Fastlane 2016 we have Shane return and Vince announcing that him and HHH will fight to get his role.
We get a grulling 20 minute match (with Shane jumping from the cell), only to have Triple H win the match.
After the match Triple H helps Shane to his feet as the crowd cheers and they shake hands, only to have HHH pedigree him, and have him and Stephanie stand tall with Vince.

Winner: Triple H

**Casket Match: The Undertaker vs Dean Ambrose **
After Dean gets beaten down by Lesnar, he comes out 8 days later, and says that he proved his is in the big leagues and that he wants to face The Undertaker. Kane comes out and laughs at Dean, but then Dean assults him with weapons, and throws him into casket, which is afterwards lit.
The week after Ambrose says that he is waiting. A gong is sound and Taker appears behind him and accepts his challenge after tombstoning Ambrose.
At WrestleMania, Ambrose looks like he is almost winning, but Kane returns and helps Undertaker to put Ambrose in the casket to win. This will be the reason for Ambrose's heel turn the following night, as Reigns did not come out to help him, and was self centered on his WWE title match, when his friend was in trouble.

Winner: The Undertaker

**The Rock vs Heath Slater **
The Social Outcasts was hot at that time. So I would have them come out, sing for a minute, and then have The Rock appear, challenge Slater and beat him in 6 seconds.

Winner: The Rock

**WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Kevin Owens (C) vs Sami Zayn **

WWE should have kept this a one on one contest, the feud was there and it could have made for a decent wrestlemania opening kind of act.

Winner: Kevin Owens

** WWE Women's Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch **
Same Same - absolutley great match.

Winner: Charlotte Flair

** WWE Tag Team Championship TLC Match: The New Day (C) vs The Dudley Boys vs The Usos vs The League of Nations**
This should have really happened. You have The Dudleys, so what better way to have another TLC Match 15 years after the original.
Notes: The New Day are still heels by that point, and The Dudley Boys will not turn heel at all, as it was not needed.
We have the high flying skills of Kofi, Woods and The Usos. The powerhouses in Rusev, Barrett, Bubba Ray and Big E, and the one in between like Sheamus, Del Rio and D-Von.

Winners: The New Day
(After New Day's win we have them being confronted by Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley as their return was a great moment, and The New Day are still heels in my book).

** Chris Jericho vs A.J. Styles **
Same feud. Same match. Different result.

Winner: A.J. Styles

** WWE United States Championship Match: The Miz (C) vs Kalisto **

These two had a really long rivalry over the years, and personally I would have had this being built up for Miz vs Neville. But with Neville's injury the only three replacements in my mind are Kalisto, Ziggler and Ryder. Because the company was so hot behind Kalisto at the time I would have him get this shot and win here, and demote Ziggler and Ryder to the ATGMBR in the kickoff.

Winner: Kalisto

** Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt vs The Big Show and Shaquille O'Neill**

Shaq vs Big Show was needed on this card. They should have fought in a one on one match. But as a result of common knowledge that Shaq was not on the road to WM, they could not have build that match properly. So instead we have a tag team match with Strowman and Bray Wyatt going against the tandem of Show and Shaq.

Winners: Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman

Kickoff Show:

** Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal **
Mark Henry wins it as a respect trophy for all his dedication, and to get a huge pop from the Dallas crowd and get them hot for the show. Battle royal finishes up with two old rivals in Henry and RyBack, with Henry winning.

Winner: Mark Henry wins last eliminating RyBack

** Six Pac Challenge Match to determinate the No.1 Contender for the WWE Women's Championship: Paige vs Naomi vs Emma vs Summer Rae vs Natalya vs Alicia Fox **
The tag match was really stupid. I took out the worst wrestlers in Eva, Brie, Tamina and Lana, and made a match with some stakes on the lane.
The winner of this match is actually going to be Naomi, as Charlotte is going to win on the main card, and Naomi will be a tweener at this point, so it does not spoil who will win, as she has beef with Sasha, and can turn heel or face in order to face Becky or Charlotte.
Also, I would have Paige be inches away from victory only to have it being "stolen" from her.

Winner: Naomi

Your thread fails immediately because Roman getting his coronation is what butchered the show, along with several of the top stars being injured. Roman either needed to be far away from the main event, or not win it. Despite what Vince believes, ROMAN IS NOT THE FUTURE. He's not the savior of the company and he's not a megastar, he's the most reviled and hated man in wrestling since Slaughter turned heel. To rewrite the card but still have Roman's big moment defeats the entire purpose.

Here's how I would fix WrestleMania 32:

Kickoff Show - Women's #1 Contender Battle Royal (winner gets a title shot against the first WWE Women's Champion the next night on RAW):

Throw every woman except Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha in here.

WINNER: Paige

1) Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship - Kevin Owens (C) vs. Stardust vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Ryback vs. Zack Ryder vs. Jack Swagger:

Ryback replaces Sin Cara, who is demoted to the ATGMBR, and Swagger replaces The Miz, who I've put in a different match. Ryder's WM moment was nice, but ultimately did nothing. Give it so someone who deserves it and can really run with it.

WINNER, and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler

2) United States Championship - Kalisto (C) vs. The Miz:

The Miz quickly and easily beats Kaliso by submission to win the title. Miz needed to regain momentum after a rough few years.

WINNER, and NEW United States Champion: The Miz

3) Andrè the Giant Memorial Battle Royal:

All the same participants, but with Sin Cara replacing Jack Swagger. Give the win to the guy in his home state who deserved the moment.

WINNER: Mark Henry

4) Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles:

This was perfect as it was.

WINNER: Chris Jericho

5) Tag Team Turmoil Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships - The New Day (C) (w/Xavier Woods) vs. The League of Nations (Rusev & Sheamus) vs. The League of Nations (Alberto Del Rio & King Barrett) vs. The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz:

Start the match with a shocker as the two LoN teams have to start against each other, with Barrett getting pinned almost immediately, leading to Del Rio attacking him the next night on RAW. The Dudley Boyz come in and beat Sheamus & Rusev, then have a very long, tough fight with The Usos before finally eliminating them, and The New Day (still heels) enter last and quickly cheat to beat the Dudleyz.

WINNERS, and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Day

6) Hell in a Cell Match - Brock Lesnar (representing Vince McMahon) vs. The Undertaker (representing Shane McMahon) - if Undertaker loses, he is banned from WrestleMania for the rest of his life, if Brock loses, Vince must give Shane 50% control of the company:

Ideally, there would have been no HIAC match between the two in October, so this would be the third and tie-breaking match in their rivalry that began two years prior. Have the match be even until the last few minutes, than have an overconfident Brock hit a third F-5, but pull Undertaker up before the pin to hit another, only for Undertaker to trap Brock in Hell's Gate, leading to Brock submitting.

WINNER: The Undertaker

7)Triple Threat Match for the first-ever WWE Women's Championship - Charlotte Flair (w/Ric Flair) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch:

Keep it as is.

WINNER, and NEW WWE Women's Champion: Charlotte Flair

8) The Rock vs. Bray Wyatt (w/The Wyatt Family):

A win over Erick Rowan meant nothing. It should have been Bray taking the loss.

WINNER: The Rock

The Hall of Fame class celebration goes here, to give the crowd a rest.

9) No Holds Barred Triple Threat Elimination Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Triple H (C) (w/Stephanie McMahon) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose:

The title match between Triple H and Dean Ambrose at Roadblock ends in a countout win for Dean Ambrose, which leads to Triple H having to defend against two men. Triple H eliminates Roman about 30 minutes in to give the crowd a huge pop. Triple H and Dean then exchange false finishes for a while to build suspense, ending with Dean countering a Pedigree into Dirty Deeds for the win. I'd have Dean hold the title until Backlash in September when he drops it to AJ Styles, as in real life.

WINNER, and NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Dean Ambrose

While I would have had AJ go over Jericho and keep it Owens vs Zayn instead of a multi-man ladder match, the biggest change I would have done is what would happen AFTER mania. I would have had HHH vs Roman as the third last match and have Roman win like he did. Fans pissed as usual. Then have Shane vs Taker hell in a cell main event. Now remember Shane had control of RAW on the line and taker had career on the line. In this match we would see the mean street posse, heels like Miz interfere being paid off by Shane as he would do anything to beat taker and gain control of RAW. They find a way into the cage as they threaten to beat up ref if he doesn't open the door. Taker disposes of them. Taker is about to win when new champion roman enters the ring and spears taker. Shane covers and taker kicks out. Roman spears him again and taker kicks out again. Taker can barely stand when Roman spears him again. Shane covers...1-2-3. Takers career is over. Roman has nuclear heat. Next night on RAW roman comes out to the ramp with the title leather jacket and sunglasses. Here comes the money plays and Shane comes out doing his dance around Roman. Shane claims it's not personal just business. He had to do whatever he could to win and gain control of raw. Undertaker was just a casualty. Roman says he had to what he had to do. HHH and the authority were a pain in his backside for months on end and this was the only way to get them out of power. Sorry taker but this is my yard now. Boom. You got the biggest heel in the business with a mouthpiece now. Taker returns at summerslam for a blockbuster match with Roman

Never liked the Kalisto US Title Reign. Del Rio beat Cena clean and then drops the title to Kalisto? Regins vs. HHH was fine just needed to be executed better. My card would've been this....

1) Andre Battle Royal (leave result helped Baron Corbin start getting on the map)
2) Leave the Divas vs. Team Bad & Blonde match (nice filler and gets women on the show
3) Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles (just change result, Styles need the win here more)
4) Tag Team Titles Ladder Match (New Day vs. Uso's vs. League of Nations vs. Dudley Boys)
Winner - Dudley Boys, would've been a nice moment for them
5) Undertaker vs. Shane (leave this one and the result I didn't favor this as it what supposed to be Cena but the storyline was good and the brutality was awesome)
6) Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt w/Stroman
This could've ignited the Brock vs. Stroman feud for sure
7) Miz (C) vs. Owens vs. Ziggler vs. Zayn (Fatal 4 way I-C Title)
I would've had Zayn go over here. He was red hot and needed that chance
8) Charlotte vs. Becky vs. Sasha (leave this and the result)
9) Alberto Del Rio (C) vs. Dean Ambrose - US Title Match
Have Ambrose take the title from Del Rio
10) HHH vs. Regins
After the League of Nations interfere you have The Rock & Ambrose come out to clear the interference. Reigns escapes the pedigree and spears HHH for the win. Reigns, Ambrose, and the Rock stand tall as Mania closes.

One major issue that a couple of yous missed was that Wyatt was injured going in WM32 thats why Rowan wrestled the Rock and Wyatt's supposed feud with Lesnar never happened. Anyway here's how i would have booked WM32:

1. The Miz Def. Kalisto (Champ) for the United States Title
Kalisto wasn't doing much with the title and this would mean that Miz could get a title and another worthy mid-carder could have the IC Title.

2. 10 Woman Tag match

Controversial decision but this match served a good few purpose's at the time; Advertise Total Divas which had poor ratings, Get all female wrestlers on the card and a send off for Brie. Would actually have gave them longer so that it wasn't a 5 minute spot fest.

3. ATGMR - Mark Henry Wins Last Eliminating Baron Corbin
Gives the feel good factor for the crowd; would have Corbin eliminate around 10 others in this to set him up as a monster for the main roster.

4. Jericho Vs Styles
Wouldn't change anything except this would be the opener (Other three matches on Kickoff show).

5. Sami Zayn Def. Kevin Owens (Champ) for the IC Title Falls Count Anywhere
Give these two the freedom to brutalise each other for 20 mins with the BabyFace Zayn going over.

6. New Day (Champ) Def. Dudleys and Usos to retain Tag Titles in a TLC match
This would be the Dudleys final match and the build would be towards them being in a comfortable match setting (Edge and Christian come out afterwards to take applause from crowd).

7. Womans Title Match
Same result without Ric's interference at the end.

8. Rock, SCSA, HBK and Foley Def. LON
Short five minute spot fest.

9. HHH Def. Shane O'Mac for control of Raw in HIAC match
Basically the same as Taker match but ends with HHH controlling raw and Shane getting Smackdown.

10. UnderTaker Def. Dean Ambrose
Have it built as Taker being unsure about Dean's mental state and somewhat scared of him, this builds Dean for a Heel Turn Night after turning on Roman.

11. Reigns Def. Lesnar (Champ) for WWE Title
Have Sheamus attempt a cash-in but failing as Lesnar and Reigns are expecting this from year before and they do the finish everyone expected from WM31.

Thoughts?
