Butch Miller (NZL) vs Edge (CAN)​

This is a first round Falls Count Anywhere Match in the 2010 Wrestlezolympics. There are no disqualifications and no count-outs. The match may go anywhere in the arena. The first man to score a fall via pin or submission will win the match and advance to the semi-finals.

The match will open for discussion on Tuesday, January 26th, and voting will begin on Wednesday, January 27th. This is a non-spam thread, so if you decide to post, you must provide reasons why you are backing a particular wrestler. You may vote without posting.

I am not going to lie in say, I know everything about Butch Miller, but I do know a lot about Edge.

Edge is in the perfect type of match for him as he has the whole arena to work with and he is the ultimate opportunist. If Edge sees anything he can use to cheat so he could pull out the win, Edge will do it. I see Edge pulling out the win in the backstage area.

Butch Miller is a tag team specialist, Edge is an accomplished singles wrestler in his envirorment for what would be a good match that ultimatly finishes with Edge as the winner

While Miller was FAR more violent than most here would ever believe, he's dead in the water here. Edge is an A-list guy and Miller is more commonly known as a comedy jobber. This is almost more one sided than Hogan vs. VOlkoff.

Who doesn't love themselves some Bushwackers? Or Sheepherders? Or whatever you want to call them. Then again, they weren't exactly Edge and Christian were they? This is a shame, because I'm proud to be an Australian/New Zealander, but we are just getting cut to pieces here.

Edge murders Miller in this match, regardless whether its a normal sanctioned match or a gimmick match, which suits him even better.

I am seeing more of these matches where one man is an absolute expert, but his opponent has a factor the other guy doesn't have that allows him to get a victory.

Miller is a Sheepherder, a mean motherfucker who would do more than torture you to get the victory. Anything like this match suits the man completely. But his opponent is someone who has found a way to gain a victory in the most luckiest and opportunistic ways it stuns Chuck Norris. He has battled against some of the most hardcore guys in the business and taken them down. Against an old school hardcore guy, he would hold his own.

Edge to take down Miller, but expect Butch to take some of Edge's skin as a souvenir.

Butch Miller was a hardcore brawler from way back when, but I mean come on, there's really no chance here. Miller's forehead is the only one in wrestling more scarred than D-Von Dudley, which would suggest he bled a lot, which would suggest he lost a lot. Either way, he probably isn't as good as Foley, who Edge beat.

Edge is probably the guy who is most likely to be able to beat anyone in this match. He could beat a violent wrestler, a powerful one, a brawler. It is because he is fast, sneaky, and smart. He could hide in the shadows, on top of platforms, and come out of anywhere to spear you for the win.

Edge gets my vote here. Butch Miller was a pretty violent wrestler but Edge can be a sick fuck. From hitting a con-chair-to on some old dude (Ric Flair) to spearing Mick Foley through a flaming table even resorting to hitting Benoit round the head with a Brick. What i'm trying to say here is that Edge will resort to anything to get the win and can fight any style with hardcore being one he is a very good at.

I liked the Bushwackers. Remember when they were on Family Matters? Good stuff. However, Butch will get F'd up the A here. Edge, being the bastard that he is, will be one or three steps ahead the entire match, which I assume won't be very long at all. The Canadian moves on easily.
