Bill Lesnar
Occasional Pre-Show
Well I would have posted this in Jericholics thread...BUT the i cannot post in a thread with such a shit and unappealing thread title. So i will post any wrestling thoughts i have in here. I encourage other prisoners to do the same.
Punk proved once again his Nexus kicks the crap out of the original. Whereas Wade would have brought out everyone for a long, boring beatdown, Punk laid out separate & original plans for each one. Any episode with CM Punk featured so much is awesome. As a bonus, his selling both for the nose & the low blow were amazing. It annoys Bill lesnar that the wwe wasted so much time initially with the original nexus. I see numerous people rage on about Vince making a comeback blah blah, WWE missed a GREAT opportunity when Nexus carried out another of their long drawn out beatings on the chairman himself. Vince should have revealed that he was the MASTERMIND behind Nexus and he was attempting to replace his older stars with youth. In other words, he could have bragged up his businessman side and say that he was getting younger workers but for cheaper to replace everyone's favorite veteran stars. It should have been a convincing and believable way for Vince McMahon to return on-camera and give the Nexus an experienced leader. Those on the WWE Creative Staff, and that includes any McMahon or those related, need to get their heads out of their ass. Finally Nexus is slightly exciting and they are providing what can be considered riveting television. This in Bill lesnars view is because of CM punk and the experience he bought to the table that nexus were sorely lacking.
The wrestlers as individuals aren't over and thus the stable is not as believable like it should be for such an idea. Vince Mcmahons original plan was to get them all on TV at once which is fair enough. But, after the initial debut, Bill lesnar honestly would have had individual Nexus members face jobbers in squash matches. Gone are the days of Iron Mike Sharpe, Barry Horowitz, and Jack Foley (just kidding on the last one). Defeating jobbers, then defeating the Hart Dynastys on the WWE builds heat and builds credibility but instead they had that awful night after summerslam where they were made to look like fools against the big guns in the wwe. . A note from the Jomo vs perfect jr match - hennig was selling very well. Otunga once again barely wrestled. Another reason why I cant stand wwe pg is because of the terrible comedy that goes on, this time referencing to King Sheamus making a pie joke about a fat person (sheesh). So the only purpose was to make two big men into mark Henrys bitch. Great.
Bill lesnar is sick to fucking death of these lazy gimmick ppvs which kill the gimmick itself. Wrestling in a way is too dependent on gimmick wrestlers, instead of having solid one on one bouts in which the wrestlers have to tell a story and for once use in ring psychology. The ppv is so freaking unnecessary its not funny and as of this moment there is no reason to buy the ppv. I used to LOVED chamber matches due to the blood and violence but now that that is virtually gone they are a waste of time.
Del Rio still hasnt convinced Bill lesnar that he is worthy of joining the greats in terms of being a rumble winner. Yeah hes good but hes still not mania ME quality and it showed tonight. They rushed the guy who may resemble him (JBL) when a slow push would have suited Bradshaw better and they are making the same mistake with Alberto. Both guys getting pushed because in Bill lesnars eyes there is no one else to push and they were/are getting desperate. He lacks in-ring charisma or something that screams for the crowd to hate him. He has to taunt the crowd when he works on Santino's arm or something. Just seems too bland and solid but not being spectacular with his in-ring abilities. There is no doubting he will get there and be HUGE but thanks to more poor booking and rushing of youngsters into ME spot he only has 2 months to achieve something he would be better suited to achieving in 2 years or a bit less.
The WWE champ, the Miz once again wrestling in the raw midcard. What is that 3 weeks now?, sorry this is fucking ridiculous. Both guys throw around heaps of lame insults (faux Mohawk and so on), before Ted the Jobber comes in as DB makes the save. DB still doesnt have a match at the chamber whilst R-Truth does. Bill lesnar dont get that. Bryan should be wrestling Miz for the title to go to mania not Lawler. There is huge chemistry there and there fued from last year has not run its course. A clean win for the Miz vs Bryan would be huge for him in the scheme of things. It pissed Bill Lesnar off to no end seeing Miz (the younger wrestler) having to slow down for Kings offense (punches). Its obvious that cole will help get Miz the win over King (sigh). Even more funny is the fact that creative are using their wwe champ to set up a fued between the announcers.
Then they decide to give Punk vs Cena away on FREE TV once again, flushing money down the toilet in the process. Not the best effort from either guy but its understandable given the time they had to work with. Cena kicks Punk in the match and you have your little punk looking scared thing finish the show. Show was below par which in Bill lesnars view has been the case for the past month. PG T.v pisses me off more and more as each week passes by. Sheamus, Miz and Vena were SHOCKING in the content and delivery in their promos. Bill lesnar blames PG due to how safe they need to make the content.
just my 2 cents.
