CM PUNK

Crowd Reaction: Great Reaction from the crowd during his promo. This man can get any crowd to eat out of the palm of his hand no matter if he is a heel or a face.

Promo/Mic time: Punk is always gold on the mic no matter what he does. The man is comfortable on the mic and he saved an otherwise shit first hour of RAW.

Quality of their match: the Triple Threat is arguably the best match of the night and Punk was the best in that match. Good match and the right man won.

How they handle their character: Aside from turning either heel or face Punk's character has never really changed and that means he has had years to find his character and perfect it. I think this is part of the reason he is so good on the mic.

2 weeks in a row for Punk as the MVP.

No doubt that it's CM Punk. Punk was the focus of Raw this week. Glad to see him get a shot at the title. It would be interesting to see if Vince Mcmahon lets him leave the WWE with the title.

I'd give honorable mention to Mark Henry. He was impressive this week, that's all.

CM Punk

Whether he's leaving or not, he is still awesome.

Crowd Reaction: The man simply gets cheered as a heel, for being the best at the world at what he does... currently and until July 17th :(

Promo/Mic time: Magical as always.

Quality of their match: Arguably the best match of the night? One of the best Raw matches I've seen in months.

How they handle their character: His character is exactly what makes him so good on the mic.

Definitely MVP :)

I'd have to respectfully disagree. Mark Henry should be MVP. It is expected for Punk to be golden. But Mark Henry stood out in my opinion. He actually kept me interested. Im looking forward to SD! this Friday.

CM Punk was definitely the mvp of the night. Punk just gets you so involved in what he's doing. His promos to tonight were great; pretty much the best of the night. His performance in the ring was the best tonight also, but if had to give an honorable mention tonight I would have to give it to Mark Henry. I think he had the second best promo. He did exactly what a monster heel should do... destroy everything in sight. Both Punk and Henry showed great intensity in their roles tonight.

Gotta agree there.

CM Punk is my favorite in the WWE at the moment, he's putting out his best work.. and WWE is at least letting him do it for the most part.

It's crazy the fans are actually starting to chant his name, makes you wonder if they'll turn him face sooner rather than later. The reaction to him.. although a heel.. is right up there behind Cena and Orton at this moment.

You know what sucks? My birthday is July 17th... but I'm going to RAW on July 18th... and CM Punk is the number one person I'd like to see there. So I hope this is a work that ends up with Punk winning the WWE Title and being forced to show up on Raw the next night or something.

Here's the bad side to that... Punk may get cheers now. But he's following Ortons footsteps. Turns face ->Gets amazing Reactions -> Wins World Title -> People can't stand him. I think leaving would be best for him. Call me crazy but Punk will be better utilized overseas or in Mexico.

Would he be better off going somewhere else? Only he can answer that. It depends on his motivation. He'll make more money staying in WWE, but there might be better opportunities elsewhere.

My prediction for Money In The Bank: Punk beats Cena for the title, but then someone cashes in their briefcase and takes the title from him.

Oh good idea. I like that. Maybe Alberto Del Rio will cash in and it will set up that ADR/Cena Summerslam feud everyone's been talking about.

I would go with CM Punk as well, his opening promo with Micheal Cole to doing snow angels in the Ring and the Triple Threat later was awesome from all 3 guys not just Punk. I would also go with Christian,Miz,and R-Truth being in the MVP discussion this week with there promo/back & forth.

Definitely is the MVP. But what if he wins, someone tries to cash in and FAILS? Talk about first, that is the unpredictability of this story line. It has many great things that can happen. We could be witnessing some of the best we've seen in a long time. We definitely have a reason to buy MitB, at least I do lol.

Milenko, you're right yet again.

Definitely Punk for me. He was absolute gold all night. His opening Promo was brilliant, along with that Triple Threat Match. Props to Del Rio though, he did have some great spots in that as well. I think, what makes Punk the MVP this week is his last Promo. It was raw (pardon the pun) and had an effect. I really hope he wins the WWE Title at Money In The Bank, it'd be great.

2nd Place: Mark Henry (Wanna know why, PM me.)

I don't think that anyone could be the MVP except CM Punk. It is a quite obvious choice for me and I think that it is obvious for anyone. CM Punk has caused more hype for any PPV since Mania. I think that Punk put on a good match in the Triple Threat, became the number one contender, and then made the announcement of leaving the company. Talk about one great night for Punk. Punk hands down.

I agree with CM Punk. Starting the show with his sit in for the number one contender spot was great. (snow angels) Not giving away his big news until he was sure he'd be in the title match was great too. The WWE Championship match for MITB is the only match currently announced, and I already can't wait to see the PPV. He's got us fans excited about this feud & anxious to see the outcome.
I'd also like to give a mention to Christian for pinning Randy Orton in the main event. It was nice to see Orton actually pinned, even if Christian's one up was short lived.

Punk was definately the MVP of this week's Raw. He cut a very good promo to begin Raw. Watching him make snowflakes was also quite funny and it turned out to be quite a good method of garnering heat. Then, he went on to participate and also win the best match of the show which surprisingly was quite a feat because this week's Raw featured two other very good matches. His announcement was also quite shocking if you didn't happen to know the fact that he has been planning to leave the company for some time. This could be a very good storyline if it is done well. The announcers need to sell the implications of Punk actually leaving with the WWE title more. An appearance by Vince McMahon also might help this angle a lot. An angle is as good as it is built up to be and I believe that this match could easily be built up as one of Cena's more important matches of his career.

The runner up is a bit difficult for me to decide but I will go with the trio of Miz, Christian and R-Truth. All three of them combined to cut a pretty entertaining heel promo on Raw and later went on to participate in an excellent match as well.
