Does anyone else think that this should of never happened???!?!?

Personally i would of loved to see Teddy Long come out and talk about his announcement last week of a Supershow, or maybe even a Randy Orton apperance! But whatever we get crappy Cena stuff again. Seriously i think he has given the same promo every week for the last year! WE get it Cena you suck its over with. Now get out of my screen and let Smackdown! shine for once!!!

Wait, Cena cut a promo where he said that Rock is a liar and that Cena is there every night, busting his ass for fans that love and hate him? Or did he cut a promo pointing out how hypocritical CM Punk is? Or did he cut an intense promo about how ADR tainted the title?

You are a mark. You hate John Cena because it's cool and fun to hate him and he wants you to hate him. If he turned heel, you'd be his biggest fan. Get out of here with your garbage and, in the words of Christian Bale, think for one fucking second.

Why would they start Smackdown out with Raw people? Well, some people might have missed the last week and flipped through the channels and what do they see? The biggest draw in the WWE. They think "wait, isn't he a Raw guy on smackdown? Hmm" so then they're interested.

If you start it out with Long or Orton, it looks just like any other show. Think about it from a business perspective, not a markish "wah wah it's not what I want exactly" perspective.

Also, "let smackdown shine for once"? You mean like how they give that entire roster it's own fucking show? Or are you seriously stupid enough to think that the WWE should really put as much money and resources into a show on an inferior night, an inferior channel, with less name recognition, and thus, less overall earning potential?

What's with the whining, kobrad? Other than a three minute match and a contract signing, Smackdown shined. Cara and Bryan had a great short match and the cage match fucking rocked. I didn't care a damn bit that Raw opened the show.

Yeah to be honest, SD! did shine. Bringing Cena and Punk over made it a "Supershow" you're welcome. All the SD! Superstars that are relevant made an appearance so #quityourwhining. You had a good main event and a great ending to the show with Henry standing over Orton to begin their feud for NOC. I have no problem with the way it turned out. It's like the above posters said, if you missed last week, you stumble on the channel and BAM wrestling out of nowhere. So just be happy you got to see a live SD! show instead of one where you already know what the results were going to be.

Smackdown is very confusing to me right now. You have Wade Barrett who is arguably ready for main event exposure right now, doing absolutely nothing after coming off a clean win over the MITB winner at the second biggest pay per view of the year. You have the aforementined MITB winner who claims to be going to Wresltemania continuing to lose cleanly for the third time in recent memory. (Barrett, Christian, Sin Cara) You have the IC Champion Rhodes AWOL on the supershow.

I'm not complaining as I still find the show enjoyable. I am going to take CM Punk's advice and just watch and see how it plays out. Has anyone else noticed these issues though?

I'm loving the whole Red and Blue Brands getting merged thing.

And I've got no problem with Cena starting off.

Totally agreed!

From what I saw, people in the Arena were enjoying it. :)

Stop whining and complaining.Smackdown was great tonight apart from the Khali&Sheamus match so there is nothing to complain about.Cena came out to try and get the crowd hot and loud,Cena has not cut the same promo for the last year. You need to know what your talking about before you make a thread about this,And NO Im not A Cena mark.I don't even like the guy but I Respect the guy and had no problem with him coming out first.Like someone said above if you see the biggest Draw in WWE on Smackdown you would think whats going on?And it would get more viewers in even if they Hate love or hate him. It's buisness and you need to understand that. Now that they have merged together Smackdown will start with RAW guys sometimes and there is nothing wrong with that.Smackdown guys could sometimes start on RAW,its the whole point of the brands merging.
