Raven! - Out of TNA in to ECW?

I, for one, would love to see Raven back in ECW. He, more than just about anyone, would give the new ECW a shot of credibility. And his experience and mic work could give ECW a shot in the arm. Bring back "Raven's Rules" match could give ECW old south Philly flavor that is sorely missing from its current incarnation.
I also see see great potential from a storyline aspect were Raven to return. Follow me for a moment. Raven walks through the curtain and delivers a scathing set of promos(as only Raven can!) on how pathetic he finds the new ECW. He starts recruiting originals like Stevie and Balls to help him resurrect the old ECW. And the feather in the cap would be Dreamer. Have him feud with Punk, Morrison, Elijah, all the young ECW talent. I think it could be interesting and boost ratings.
But alas, I don't see Raven returning. Stranger things have happened, but my gut feeling says Raven will never returning to ECW.

To me Raven is probably the best chance ECW has of gaining some momentum, Raven and the WWE need each other because Raven is a veteran that could teach alot of the young guys in ECW how to work and how to tell a story, and Raven needs some retirement money, the dude is pratically going broke due to all the bills he got when he was out with injury, and as for tna they couldnt do raven justice hes more then just a hardcore crash dummie!

First of all during both of ravens runs in wwe he was missused serverely first that stupid Johnny Polo gimmick then when he was a wrester Raven was misshandled then whats to say wwe wont do the same thing to him a third time I dont think Levy is stupid enough to go back to vince a third time

What needs to happen is WWE needs to also bring back Justin Credible along with Raven. The 2 of them would bring back some legitimacy back to ECW and make it hardcore again. The only way it would work is that Vince Mcmahon would have to use them two in a proper way.

Raven can't be himself, though, in the current disfigured abortion known as ECW.

Raven was always the emo, druggie lunatic, and I loved him. My God my GOD the wars with Tommy Dreamer. I remember that fondly.

His whole emo gimmick, sitting in the corner, talking incoherently, and giving great interviews. Some of the shit he did was great, and Vince fucked him up when he went to WWE.

I think Raven could definately contribute to ECW if they let him be himself. I'd look forward to seeing him again.

I don't know how good Tommy's health is, but reviving that fued would be gold. Both men know how to work with each other, and have a Funk/Foley like chemistry.

If they were to let both these hardcore vets be themselves, we'd have a very entertaining bloodbath on our hands.

Ravens situation if totally up in the air at the moment but i see him doing it, why not have one more golden last run in a company that saw him as nothing more then a jobber, why not prove on last time that he still has it and pick up the big one, i feel that Raven has all the tools for one last run

sandman moved to raw, how did that go oh yeah sandman beat the crap out of carlito and was going to get a major heel midcard push, the reason why sandman quit is because sandman got drunk on an overseas tour and was told by steamboat to put out a cigarette, he then called john laurentis and asked for his release nothing more nothing less, the wwe didnt disrespect ecw, they gave alot of the guys chances including van damm he was in a midst of a title run when he got caught in his care speeding with drugs in his possesion, that was his fault, no one elses you cant keep blaming wwe for ecw talent not getting pushed, the fans werent behind alot of them and the only guy who was over got himself done for drug posession simple as.

No think to yourself you own a company and you employ ex drug abusers and offenders, are you gonna give them three chances to screw your company up when they re-offend especially in the public eye?

Im not saying the wwe didnt misuse alot of talent but all im saying is that Raven can be used to help talent get over, he is over, his time in tna showed that he could be in the main event when given the chance, the wwe has to give him that chance and not misuse him again, but thats ravens decision like its every superstars decision to bring there game up, to step up and take that spot they think they deserve and thats

If Raven goes to the wwe it would be a fitting end to a legacy im my opinion

The only way I could see Raven being brought back is in a Tommy Dreamer-esque role. Like they'd use him to push CM Punk or something. I don't see any other capacity in which WWE would use him. We all have to understand that WWE has a big ego and would never push anyone who they didn't help create. Remember the RVD/ King storyline. That got RVD over in the mainstream so WWE could take credit for him.

Raven will never work for wwe again, his character was raped in his last run, made to look a fool jobbed out and then released.

Ravens best years as a wrestler are well and truly behind him the guy is like 45 now and starting to look tired as a competitor. I find Raven a strange character ECW used him to his upmost potential thats for sure. WCW i feel used him well at the start then he went south very quickly. WWE never knew how to use this character orelse he woulda been wwe champ back in the early 00s.

Will not come back to either TNA or WWE. I think he may do some indys but that would be it for wrestling. Maybe to come back as a booker or agent one day.

This would be the sole purpose, or rather biggest reason I'd love to see Raven return to the W.W.E. but the thing you have to remember, or the two things rather, are the following.

1. Tommy Dreamer and Raven are both aged and sadly aren't nearly as "prime" as they used to be. Both guys look ridged in the ring, and while Dreamer is still definately better than some, hes still never been more than slightly above average to begin with. (and I LOVE Dreamer, don't get me wrong)

Meanwhile, Raven aged badly in T.N.A. and grew fat even. During his exit, or assumed exit.. (has it even been confirmed hes not with them anymore, simply because he isn't on their roster?) anyways, during his last stint in T.N.A. they tried returning him to form (possibly in an attempt to help him gain work else where with that gimmick) however he looked awful because of the weight gain he'd put on.

2. W.W.E. won't push a feud thats been classic in E.C.W. (original) and they definately won't let it take off to the Main Event (E.C.W. Main Event) status it could still definately be.

I'd love it if they'd bring him back to work a program with Dreamer. But in the end, I kinda want to hold onto the memories of how amazing their original feud was.. instead of having it destroyed by a revamped, watered down version created by the W.W.E.

Raven's a spent force in-ring wise,he'd be much more use as a heel manager/leader of a Flock-like group.

Maybe have him occasionally help his protoges win with a sneaky Raven Effect DDT but keep him out of the ring match wise.

I believe Raven was quoted as saying that he would never work for WWE again so this move seems unlikely at best. It would however be a very interesting thing to see. At this stage of his career I think that the best he is going to get is the occasional big indie pay off.

Raven has a wrestling school that will be starting in Phenix City, AL and will be working in conjunction with Great Championship Wrestling. Raven and Johnny Swinger will be the two main trainers, with Raven as the head trainer. THe school starts in may.

i think if WWE ever calls Raven, i think he would go back regardless of his statement because think about it, if they call him back and want to give him a world title reign maybe on smackdown and if that isnt likely, ECW, it would definately get him more notice because if that were to happen WWE would quickly plug his school under industry news and probably in a promo like for instance he does an interview as the ECW champ and says, "ive got it all. the ECW title, my own wrestling school, ive drawn more attention to ECW in the last week" or some shit like that. i dont know why raven even left wwe but im pretty sure that if the bret/mcmahon incident can be resolved, then raven and wwe can too.
