One word....disapponting.

The only real shining light was the Michaels v Taker match, which was excellent. Apart from that all the other matches were a let down. This is Wrestlemania FFS, but it seems to be losing its sparkle year on year. MITB was okay, Divas match dull pointless. That stupid Fraggle Rock man singing for like an hour or something. It may have provided shock value but anything involving Rey Mysterio I want on for at least ten minutes.

Cena/Edge/Show, match okay but I think Big Show just sucks more and more now. Cena as always provided huge entertainment. Hardys was a bit disappointing, expected more from them must be honest. Hall of Fame great....next please. Loved watching Steamboat, probably the highlight of the night for me, which just about says it all.

AND THEN TO TOP IT OFF - Orton losing to 'God', oh sorry HHH. This is what's killing wrestling right now and it's becoming so obvious that it's almost laughable. The match wasn't great, but man did they make Orton look weak. Orton had to win here to get any momentum going, and it just shows that the power/ambition/selfishness at the top is still rife. I used to like Triple HHH during the attitude era, now I just want anyone to beat him and the more I watch him the more bored I am of him. The powers that be need to start swallowing their egos and start putting over people.

So all in all, it really wasn't great and I won't be spending another £15 on it again for a while.

I loved it.it was great.every match was decent enough.besides the diva match.complete waste of time.money in the bank could of been better.surprised punk took it.

jericho vs legends.was nice enough.steamboat clearly was fantastic.was expecting austin to come down and stun jericho.cuz it just made sence.newly inducted hall of fame.could of fit in nicely with the storyline.but nothing happend.so i was disappointed.

the hardy match was actually better than i thought it would of been.twist of fate on the chair.jaw dropped when i saw that

jbl vs rey.....wtf,seriously??

triple threat.was....alright.we ALL knew cena would pick up the victory.nice spear by edge on cena in the air.

hhh and orton was a nice one on one bout.was super pissed off when hhh won though.orton better pick up a win a backlash or else all that build up was for nothing

taker and hbk by far the best of the night.we all knew this match was going to steal the show.i thought taker cracked his head open when he hit that dive.poor camera guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time lol

overall i was entertained for a great majority of the show with exceptions to the diva match and reyrey and jbl.out of 10.i give it a 7

dude! HBK Undertaker has to be one of the best matches in the last 10 years! a lot of actions, big bumps, they both almost killed themselves and it was worth every bit of hype! WWE really scored with that match. Best match of the night and possibly best match in recent WrestleMania history, people were talking about another hogan andre moment... that match was very close.:undertaker2:

MOTB - Unfortunately a C-

Diva Battle Royal - Funny ending but a D

Y2J vs. Legends - Impressed by Steamboat but a C

Matt vs. Jeff - Exciting from start to finish so I'll give it an A

Rey vs. JBL - Dumb i give it an F

Undertaker vs. HBK - Breathtaking, Perfect match deserves an A+

Triple Threat - I can honestly say I thought Edge was going to win but Cena did so i'll give it a B just for the unpredictability (on my part)

RKO vs. HHH - What a failure on WWE's part to do that Orton should have taken that one without a doubt. Can't believe that happened. Unpredictable yes, but not in a good way. C- from me

Overall Grade: C-

Im gonna give WM25 an overall grade of C, I have never been so disappointed in my life, start to finish this was the most predictable and boring ppv I've ever seen. Steamboat was the only redeeming factor in this entire event, If WWE knew how well he could move still then they screwed up royally by not making it a 1 on 1 match between him and Jericho.

Where does one even start to point out what was wrong with Orton and HHH, the ending completely wasted 3 months of great storytelling and made Orton and Legacy look pathetic in the process.

Although Taker vs Shawn was a good match I just couldn't get into it as much as I would like because Undertaker will never lose at Mania.

Everything else was too useless to mention, and bumping the tag match off the ppv made another long storyline a pointless waste of time. The Colons and Mizmo should be severely pissed off with the higher powers.

In all honesty the only thing about the whole show that was better than I expected was the pussycat doll, I thought she would sound horrible but she did alright.

My grade: C (just barely)

Great topic I must say....here we go.....

MITB: 2nd best match of the night, wasn't the best but, it was PPV quality. A few great spots, that I have never seen before. Which is always good. But, couldn't compare to previous MITB matches....CM Punk winning? God fuckin help us.....C

Diva Battle Royal: Torrie Wilson and Sunny where their, but they didn't even fuckin' mention them until they were elimated! Makes no fuckin sense. Santino wins, WWE tring to be funny, and fuckin failed.....F

Y2J vs. Legends: Very slow and boring match, wasn't into it at all. For christ sakes give Jerico a match that means something...like previous WM...The ending was utter shit...an actor knocking out one of the best wrestlers of our time (Y2J) with a cheap ass left hook. Because of Steamboat spots I give it a....D

Matt vs. Jeff: Sic spots, but that was it. Their is one thing to have a match, but when the whole match has crazy ass spots, and nothing else, their is no "flow" in the match...I didn't get into it, and neither did the fans......D

Ray vs. JBL: Ray looked like a douch, pulling poker cards out of his crouch.....I hope those kids washed their hands after the show. The best thing that came out of that match was, hopefully, JBL becoming a Smackdown! announcer. Guy is golden on the Mike, and fire Micheal Cole......F

Undertaker vs. HBK: One word: EPIC! : A

Triple Threat: Super Cena flies again! Fuck, didn't see that one coming....For the last fuckin time....Cena DOESN'T sell! Look at that failure of a movie, F-U cena marks.....D

RKO vs. HHH: That was the worst ending to a PPV that I have EVER seen! No twists, no turns, no screw jobs, nothing.....another 6 months of HHH and Cena as kings on the WWE Universe.....the shows ratings are going to fuckin tank when they find out tomorrow who won!......complete Fuckin F!

I just wish TNA will get their shit together and pass the 2.0 barrier, then let the wars begin! A little competiton never hurt, hopefully WWE goes TV-14, and do what they do best, bring the Attitude! I hope TNA kills WWE PG!

I won't be ordering another PPV for awhile....

Good God where do I start with this giant ball of garbage we call WM25. I agree with pretty much what everybody above said with a few tweeks of my own opinion here and there...

MiTB- Your yearly delightful spotfest was somewhat of a letdown this year. And as usual... like we even need to tell people, Shelton Benjamin stole the show again. His swanton-type move off the ladder in the aisle was insane. He does it every year. Was really gunning for him or MVP to win, but we got the first two-time winner of the match in CM Punk. Honestly I was upset he won, but looking back, he really is the one most ready to be in some main events. Overall Grade- C+

Divas Match- the highlight was them coming out during the Kid Rock song to get a taste of the Diva eye candy. Like they said above, predictable ending and hilarious ending, but this was mostly a giant clusterfuck and you couldn't tell who was doing what. Awful. Overall Grade- F

Jericho/Legends- This was the surprise of the night and I think everyone else will agree. Steamboat put on an amazing show and can still downright do it in the ring. At least this time he could. He was amazing. I'd honestly enjoy watching Steamboat in another match. Mickey Rourke could have at least pretended to enjoy being there. I think he really did enjoy it, but if you know Mickey, that's just kinda how he is. Predictable outcome with Mickey but Steamboat surprised us all. Overall Grade- B-

Matt/Jeff- am I the only one that thought this was a little weak? It did have its great moments with Jeff and the ladders and tables and Matt with the victory and ToF on the chair was pretty amazing. But the build-up with this match, how Matt screwed Jeff at RR and all the events with the car and pyro set up by Matt, I thought these two were really going to go at it and that it would get insane. It was good, but for some reason, I expected more. Overall Grade- B

JBL/Rey- Overall grade- F- This doesn't even deserve explaining.

HBK/Taker- It doesn't take very many brain cells to know this was going to be epic before it even started. Match of the night hands down. But sadly match of the night wouldn't have taken much. Nothing can be said about this match because it's just that much of a must see. I still believe HBK/Angle was a little better but by no means was this bad. Overall Grade- A

Triple Threat- Eh. I barely watched it to be honest. It was funny when Big Show was tied up in the ropes and he was just hanging there all big and fat and yelling at Cena and Edge and telling the Ref to let him out. I found it funny anyway. I personally thought we've had enough Cena but creative doesn't think so. Big props though to Cena for almost pulling off the double FU because Edge and Show weigh close to 700 lbs. that Cena had on his shoulders. He is just straight up super-human but still puts on terrible matches. Overall Grade- C

Triple H/Orton- Good God where do I start with this whopper. I haven't seen a punch/kick fest like this since Khali/Kane and that could have almost been more entertaining. This match was straight up... unbelieveable. Excuse my french everyone, but if someone wanted to watch this match with me again in life, I'd fucking kill myself first. Not one surprise, not one run-in, nothing. Nothing. At all. Period. This could honestly be the most anti-climatic match since the women's match at the very first WM. But even that might have been more entertaining. Triple H still can't let go of his power hungry ego. The build-up with this match led us to believe we were going to get something classic... and in a way we did. A classic piece of shit. Overall Grade- F

My overall review of the show. Is it worth watching if you just have to watch every WM because you're a big fan? Just barely. It baffles my mind that we had to put up with crap like the Divas clusterf*ck and JBL/Rey Rey, but the darkmatch of the Tag Titles Unification was probably a great match because it involved 4 great wrestlers. If this was the first WM you ever saw, please don't judge the rest of them and compare it to this crapfest. Watch damn near any other WM and you will be entertained. Almost any other one. From what I saw, this was not the worst ever, but definately in my bottom 5. And that's not good. Overall Grade for the 25th Anniv. of WM and the supposed biggest show of the year- C-

MOTB - Why did Punk win...again?! D-

Diva Battle Royal - pointless F

Y2J vs. Legends - just for Steamboat I give it a B

Matt vs. Jeff - I hate both of these guys C

Rey vs. JBL - Pointless F

Undertaker vs. HBK A

Triple Threat - Saw it coming a million miles away D-

RKO vs. HHH - Good match, but Orton should have gone over and because he didn't I give it an F!

A VERY predictable PPV! Not worth anyones money!

overall grade: D-

Where as I was not a big fan of this Mania, I still think some people are still angry over the show, because it disappointed them, and are thus giving it poorer reviews then it deserves (not necessarily in this thread, but in other threads).

With that being said, I'll attach my grades to the matches and give the show an overall grade:

Triple H vs Randy Orton: C
John Cena vs Big Show vs Edge: B-
Undertaker vs HBK: A+
MITB: C
Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy: B
Jericho vs Legends: C
Divas Battle Royal: D-
Rey vs JBL: D

Overall Grade: C

This PPV was definitely not the greatest Mania of all time by any means (did they even refer to it as that this year, as normally that is a tradition for them at Mania to say?)

but it definitely wasn't the worst Mania, by any stretch of the imagination. It was just a very flat Mania, only really saved by HBK and Taker.

But I will say this ... it definitely wasn't worth no $55 (or $65 for HD). And I do feel bad for anyone who spent it on this show. I hope those of you who did that are disappointed, will show your outrage by not ordering any more PPV's for a couple months. That's the only way to hit Vince where it hurts.

I did like wrestlemania (well at least some of it)

Money in the bank- Some big bumps and spots as always but there was no OMG!!!1 moment that sometimes helps me get into a match more. CM Punk won (unfortunately) I really wanted MVP to win. Punk is a poor champion anyway.

Divas Battle Royal-Obvious that Santina would win and pretty boring.

Legends vs Jericho-Piper mad at one point made me forget about the PG rating. He and Snuka were poor but Steamboat surprised me he may have looked better than Flair was at wrestlemania xxiv should have left the whole match to Ricky and Jericho. Rourke knocking him out was pretty stupid.

Matt vs Jeff- Quite a good match glad they put Matt over some sick spots the twist of fate with the chair on Jeff's neck was shocking.

Rey vs JBL- 21 seconds of crap the best thing about this match was that JBL quit.

Undertaker vs Hbk- Easily the best match of the night I jumped and shouted with every false finish some nice spots as well. I really thought the streak would end when he hit his second sweet chin music great match.

Triple Threat- I am a Cena mark and was happy when he won quite entertaining match outcome to predictable though.

Orton vs HHH- Total let down very boring match for me with HHH winning again (yawn)

WRESTLEMANIA 25 was meant to be iconic....a new era maybe.....wwe let us all down so much what a let down honestly im so dissapointed.....the only 2 things that made if worth even grading was steamboat showing us hes still got it and undertaker shaun michaels match (even though i thought taker broke his neck lol)

the 2 biggest let downs for me was cm punk winning the mitb....WHY he had absolutley no momentum going into this match vince mcmahon should just back off and let kane or christian win it honestly....the second biggest let down was hhh winning i absolutley hate the fact he has so much power in the wwe i mean come on randy orton should have won that everyone knows it!

i was pretty disappointed with this year's mania especially with the exclusion of the tag team title match.
mitb some great bits ie shelton and kofi great stuff but i still felt it paled in comparison to 24 and in particular 23, fan of cm punk but was really pissed he won would have been happy with mvp or christian C
kid rock can suck my dick
diva battle royale, garbage too many divas couldnt tell who was who E
rey vs jbl why bother??? liked rey's outfit though E
hardy's i dunno why i just thought this was a huge letdown, it wasnt bad i just expected so much more???? and matt looks like a dick in tights C
legends match, it was painful to watch Snuka and Rowdy but Steamboat kicked ass, rourke landed a few good punches but id rather stone cold ran in C
taker vs HBK, yeah they delivered i enjoyed this one and yeah it was the highlight as we all knew it would be A
triple threat wasnt expecting much but this one wasnt half bad good cena is strong but id rather he didnt win B-
wwe title wow this had to have been one of the biggest letdowns ever, see i kept thinking its not as bad as hhh vs cena at wm 22, but then i realised it was because i had such high hopes for this one
also what was with the lack of good entrances???? hbk's sucked, triple hhh sucked the only good one was cena's

Well, the only VERY dissappointing part in WM for me was the HHH/Orton Match.
It doesn't even feel like a Main Event, and HHH won after all that hype. Talk about killing RKOs momentum. D-

Cena vs. Edge vs. Big Show was ok. Unpredictable, and the fact that Cena tried to apply the Att.Adjustment to Show/Edge at the last moment but failed. B-

HBK vs. Undertaker. WOW. The best match so far. Although no one would benefit from each other's win, this match was how many years in the making. A+

Jeff vs. Matt. I liked the ending. Matt won unexpectedly with a nice finish. A TOF at a chair. B+

Y2J vs. Legends. The match was all right. Didn't know Steamboat still had it in him. Rourke's punch was weird. How can he knock out Y2J with 1 punch? But at least he didn't wrestle just like everyone thought he would do. C-

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio. The match was too quick. it should've been done longer.. It just lowered the prestige of the IC Title once again, but we are all used to that aren't we? D

MITB. Awesome. Shelton's dive really wow'd me. Thought Kane would win, but Punk got the upper hand, and won his 2nd. Maybe this time they'll use that win better than last year, and finally Punk will get a decent Title run(Hopefully) B

Diva Battle Royal... Right.... Well I laughed my pants off when I sawSantino dressed in drag, and started to dance after he won, and the WWE Exclusive interview was pretty hilarious also. Just thinking about it creeps me out/makes me wanna laugh Lolx. XD

Overall. C-... Not the best WM. DEFINITELY Not the best WM Finish (Stupid HHH), but it had me something to remember by (HBK/Undertaker). Wonder what will happen tomorrow at the draft?

HBK vs. The Undertaker downright saved this PPV from being the worst in history. It was a great match, and I'm debating changing my best match ever for this - definately my favourite Undertaker match of all time. Probably drawing with the Angle match for Shawn. This match had everything, and I really loved it. It's such a shame that it was surrounded by crap.

I also really liked Hardy vs. Hardy, it was a lot better than I expected, which wasn't a lot to be honest. But both Hardys show why they'll be remembered here. They're not great, but with the right opponent in the right setting they can tear the house down.

I don't even want to discuss the rest of the show, at all. It wasn't worth the money in my opinion. The ending made me say "What the fuck?". Without the 2 above matches this would have been F. However the HBK Taker match itself was an A++++. So I'll round that down to a C. And that's being very nice.

It stank to high heaven.

MOTB - Boring apart from one or two bits and pieces by Benjamin. Lots of fked up moves. D

Diva Battle Royal - Who cares. F

Y2J vs. Legends - Steamboat saved this from being an F. So E.

Matt vs. Jeff - I thought this was very disappointing also. Could have been so much better. D

Rey vs. JBL - Ummm.... F

Undertaker vs. HBK - Oustanding. May go as far to say that it could get into my top five of all time. A

Triple Threat - Dull. Didn't care who won, funniest part as someone mentioned was when the fat twat got stuck in the ropes yelling. Stupid ape. D

RKO vs. HHH - F. The company could have saved some face by pushing Orton here, instead it was one of the dullest matches in history. F

Overall Grade: I don't know, the average works out something like a D- or E+. But it sure was a shitfest. Waste of money and put me off paying for a PPV for a while.

MITB - A - What was wrong with it? Fantastic spots and it was filled with suspence. Kofi really shone in this match, and the fans were into it too.

Jericho vs The Legends - C - So it wasn't great, but Steamboat really did well in this match considering his age. It was never expected to be a great match, but it was decent enough.

25 Diva Battle Royal - F - It was horrible. They could have actually given the title to a credible Diva, but no. It goes to Santina. Sure, it was funny, but it got old, quick.

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy - B - Was never expected to be a great match, but it was solid. A few nice spots and it will do a lot for Matt winning this match.

JBL vs Mysterio - C - It gets this grade because it was unexpected. Sure, it was short and people will call it shit, but would you really rather sit through JBL v Mysterio? I mean seriously, the WWE did the best thing they could have done with this match.

HBK vs Undertaker - A* - It was fucking amazing. The ring psychology was awesome, and they really sold the story. Brilliant wrestling and some sweet spots. Loved it.

Cena vs Edge vs Big Show - B - It was decent enough in my opinion. Nothing major but they did well considering. Some nice moves and a good ending. I was rooting for Show, but happy enough that Cena won.

Orton vs Triple H - D - It really wasn't that great, and I'm dissapointed. Firstly, Orton needed the win way more than HHH did. Also, it was a bad match. It wasn't fluid and just seemed rushed. An awful main event.

I knew before the PPV even kicked off that it wasen't going to be as good as WrestleMania XXIV. And, guess what, that turned out to be the case. The stage was basic yet because it was so big, it was an awesome sight to see in the background. I was surprised that there was only 72,744 people in attendence, it did look alot more than that. Speaking of the crowd, they produced no atmosphere whatsoever. Now... to the matches:

Money in the Bank Ladder Match... This match was just alright. Nothing rememberable happened, it was all stuff we have seen before, and even then it seemed half assed. And CM Punk winning for the second year in a row... that wasen't 'amazing' as King said, it was a farse! He'll do fuck all with the championship that he is bound to win (or steal, like last year)... MVP should of won, he's more deserving than CM Punk.

Overall Grade for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match = C-

Kid Rock small concert... 20 fucking minutes!!! 20 fucking minutes of my life was wasted watching Kid Rock prance around the stage like he was on crack! Why?! I paid to watch wrestling, not a Kid Rock gig.

Overall Grade for Kid Rock's small concert = F

25 Diva (minus that Transexual Santino) Battle Royal... Again, another farse! Santina... what the fuck?! Plus Torrie Wilson, my favourite Diva of all time, was eliminated very quickly so I lost interest. Plus where was Trish?!

Overall Grade for the 25 Diva Battle Royal = F

Chris Jericho v.s The WWE Legends... Ricky Steamboat was the best thing about this match. He gave an awesome performance, and he really took Chris Jericho to school. The inclusion of Mickey Rouke was predictable and no way near as cool as Snoop Dogg clotheslining Santino last year.
But as far as the match goes, Jericho and Steamboat actually had a good match. Piper and Snuka were both gave highly forgettable performances.

Overall Grade for Jericho v.s The WWE Legends = C+

Jeff Hardy v.s Matt Hardy, Extreme Rules Match... I probably expected too much from these two but I found this match no where near the level of extreme I was expecting. The only sick thing was that Twist of Fate with Jeff's head lodged in the steel chair. Apart from that, it didn't live up to the hype and/or the name of Extreme Rules.

Overall Grade for the Hardy v.s Hardy Extreme Rules Match = C

JBL v.s Rey Mysterio, IC Championship... If that was JBL's last match, then he should sue the company for making him even take part in this joke of a match. The only thing I remotely liked was Rey's mask. And if that is the end of JBL, then I'd like to say Thank You JBL for being one of the best heals of the modern era of WWE.

Overall Grade for the IC Championship Match = F

Shawn Michaels v.s Undertaker... This was by far the best match of the night... and a match that I still have goosebumps about even now. That might actually be the greatest match of all time (a massive statement but I reckon it deserves it). Shawn took Taker to the limit like we've never seen before. I thought on about 5 occassions that the streak was over. When Taker took that bump onto the cameraman, I thought Taker's neck was broken. He landed in such a horrible way. But the constant counters and the numberous kick-outs after each others finishing moves made this match so incredible. This match will be the sole reason why I will buy the DVD of WrestleMania 25. This was certainaly the greatest match in WrestleMania history.

Overall Grade of Shawn Michaels v.s Undertaker = A+

World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match, Edge v.s Big Show v.s John Cena... Slow, predictable, boring, soulless... just a few words to describe this god-awful main event match. Even as a Cena fan, I don't like the fact he is now champion again after this match. The only good bit was Cena lifting up Edge & Big Show... that was actually a pretty amazing show of strength. Apart from that, this was utter shite.

Overall Grade for the WHC Triple Threat Match = D-

WWE Championship Match, Triple H v.s Randy Orton... Oh deary me. That might actually be the worst WrestleMania main event match of all time. I lost interest before the match really got going... when it was announced that there would be no DQ's... that would of actually made the match good (well, maybe). And why did Triple H win? He's been there before, as the final thing you see at WrestleMania before it goes off the air, it was Randy's turn.
The match was shit and it was completely lifeless.

Overall Grade for the WWE Championship Match = D-

WrestleMania 25... £14.63... I paid £14.63 to see one incredible match and 7 highly forgetable ones, some of which were actually shit. I have never felt so dissappointed after watching a WrestleMania. The only redimming factors were the actual stadium itself... it was fucking massive the stage cause again it was fucking massive and the Shawn Michaels v.s Undertaker match. Other than that... well, lets move on from this event and focus on Backlash.

Overall Grade for WWE WrestleMania 25 = C-

Pulling John Morrison/The Miz vs The Colons - Z i was genuinley looking forward to this match John Morrison is one of my fav wrestlers and all 4 could have shined on ppv instead we got 10 mins of fucking kid rock!

Money In The Bank.... i enjoyed it, Kofi got to show off what he can do, and i actually thought Henry and Kane kinda worked in this match. Was mainly dissapointed not to see Christian moe involved. but iv seen worst MITB matches - B

Divas - what was worse than this match?? the fucking commentating i thought they might help me understand what the fuck was goin on instead i was watchin a mess in the ring with women who all look the fucking same. F

Legends vs Jericho.. was painful to watch at the start should have been just Steamboat vs Jericho... thought mikey rourke looked cool as hell and his knock out punch this year was far more beleivable than Snoop Doggs last year due to him having a history in boxing - C

Hardys - Loved it, knew matt hardy would win and that twist of fate was brutal - B

Rey vs JBL... i thought jbl would retire at this match just wish it had av been longer ... then again thinkin back on jbls recent matches im kinda glad it didnt - E

Undertaker vs HBK - A!!!! say no more

Cena/Edge/Big Show - spear thru the wall was cool... and the almost double F-U at the end...didnt feel like a WM title match D

HHH/Orton - im glad they had an (almost) clean match with no run ins i couldnt stand another year of Mcmahon betrayal but it was soo dull expect more from these two esp at mania - D

Main events just didnt feel like Wrestlemania... i was actually enjoyin the ppv up til them, and until i found out miz/morrisons match wasnt happening on tv pssshh

Ok I am a little wacky but I liked this PPV. It wasnt the best ever. but I think it was ok.

MITB--Good spots. The way they put all the ladders together was to me pretty cool and left a sense of suspense the whole time. Christian should have won it.
Grade B-

Divas--I mean most technical. No. You never saw really the old divas. No trish or lita. But Santino is fantastic. Grade C-

Jericho vs Legends- This match I was dreading all night. but you know what. Ricky steamboat did fantastic. Roddy piper attempted and landed a drop kick. These guys are too old to be doing this but it was fun. The thing with rourke at the end was stupid but oh well. grade C

Hardy vs Hardy.--I bashed this on other threads. I got mixed up between their horrible mic abilities and their wrestling skill. Great spots good finish
Grade Solid B+

Rey vs JBL--I dont know about the rest of you but to me that was the best god damn way to have that match. I hate JBL and think he needed to stay retired. IF I had to sit through a 20 minute match with him I would flip out

Grad B

Icon vs Icon--Best match since hogan vs rock...PERIOD
grade A+++++++

Cena vs Edge vs show--Ok cena one. predictable. but wasnt terrible...
grade C

Orton vs Triple H---this was a terrible way to finish off the night. Everyone hits their finishers in the first minute. Worthless match. Whoever designed that match should be shot.
Grade F

overall B-

Final thoughts-If they have such a lack of respect for the championship that Edge comes out first while Cena gets the big entrance then there is Absolutely no reason a match like Michaels vs Undertaker shouldnt be the main event. Didnt they learn from Hogan vs Rock?

MITB - A - Decent MITB Some new original stuff. Kofi stole the show, but shelton attemptin a swanton and fuckin up was amazin

Jericho vs The Legends - B - Purley for Steamboat, He looks just as good as he ever did.

25 Diva Battle Royal - F - pointless and unoriginal. we all new santino was gonna win it from day 1

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy - A - Decent match between the two and it wasnt just spot after spot although there was some sick spots toward the end.Good to see matt going over as i predicted

JBL vs Mysterio - D - the only thing that was decent about this was Reys mask. not worthy of Wrestlemania

HBK vs Undertaker - A* - One of the best matches of all time, i was on the edge of my seat thoughout. Probably the greatest match of their careers too.

Cena vs Edge vs Big Show - E - Boring match, boring main event, boring finish

Orton vs Triple H - D - Boring match boring main event Boring finish, just not as boring as the Triple Threat match.

Overall - D - not a good wrestlemania, Taker/HBK Hardy/Hardy and Steamboat saved this from being the Worst Mania of all the times.

What people seem to forget when saying it isnt believable that Mickey Rourke knocked out Y2J with 1 punch; It is believable, Rourke was a pro boxer. He can throw a punch, and the back of the head is the worst place to get hit. as for HHH winning they haad to heve that happen, as he was defending the amilys honor. Everybody bitched last year when Finaly was defending his family honor and got beat, but seems to have reversed beause it was HHH. Mmmmmmmmm..........

well i only spent $30 to get it on PPV so for that fact it wasn't a complete dud.

I was really into it upto the end of the Taker/HBK match for the most part

And if someone had said to me that following that match "this was the worst wrestlemania of all time", which i think someone did, i'd say they were an idiot but it would be close. Every WrestleMania has had shit matches and awesome matches, this mania though just felt like it was slapped together at the last minute and noone gave a crap except the Hardy's, jericho/Steamboat & Taker/HBK

The MITB match wasn't that great. it had moments of OMFG. but mostly Ho Hum. (3*'s)

Diva Battle Royal - Santino is funny end of story, the rest of the match was Zzzzzz i mean they took longer to do the entrance than the match took to complete and there were some former diva's ya think atleast they woulda got an introduction. (2*'s)

Jericho vs Legends - the Legends match was crap until the Jericho/Steamboat parts, that was pretty good and had glimpses of Savage vs Steamboat from Mania 3. and the ending following Jericho's victory was very very gay. FFS it took 10mins for the guy to get to the ring just to take a few swipes and legit hit Jericho in the temple.

Hardy vs Hardy - Good match (4*'s) It was a glimpse of what they've done in the past and matt winning was kinda expected since it woulda been unexpected to the majority.

no Tag Title match? WTF???? assume it woulda gone here

IC Title match - BORING!!!!!!! and down right stupid. (-5*'s) Soo sick of Mysterio winning matches against heavyweight with a couple of moves yet he can be squashed and keep going. and JBL, no comment. I assume he's going back into commentary or maybe another role outside the ring.

Taker vs HBK, well it was obvious Taker was gonna win given the commentary kept saying religiously that he had never beaten HBK. never the less these two were the only awesome match of the night and noone came close to the crowd reaction. Hope neither was seriously injured, though i can't see how taker didn't atleast suffer a severe stinger when he landed on his head (10*'s)

World Title Match - considering Big Show was involved this match wasn't totally crap. Atleast the Edge/Cena moments were watchable. But vickie/Chavo being at ringside served no purpose what so ever only getting involved for 1 minute and Big Show is Sooooooooooo damn slow. 3*'s

WWE Title - Triple H vs Orton. OK i'l admit i'm the first to sing Triple H's praises but this match was a complete stinker, it's like they were asleep right off the bat, and both guys pulling off there finishers in the first minute was dumb. I can only think it was to make up time for the fact they dumped the Tag Title match and why the hell didn't Vince/Shane over turn Vickie's match stipulation or at the very least get involved or be at ringside 1*

In Summary - What followed the Taker/HBK match was just dull. How can you go from a fast paced match between two old fogies for all intensive purposes to two slow paced matches between guys in there prime that should've been alot better.

There were obvious spots where something could've happened following the HBK/Taker match and nothing did. Like HHH meeting Vince and Shane in the hall and nothing was said? or Austin didn't even make a speech, it's almost like following HBK/Taker they no longer gave a shit and noone had a voice.

Production wise too. Lillian Garcia was constantly drowned out by entrance music etc. that seemed out of timing. and the sound cut out completely for a few seconds on about a dozen occasions on our Foxtel version.

Overall i give it and B- or maybe a C+

I thought it was a good show. Taker/HBK was EPIC and lived up to all the hype, should have been the main event. The triple threat exceeded my expectations. MITB was exciting and had some good spots. Hardy Boyz match was good as well. Jericho/Legends lived up to my expectations, as did the divas battle royal. Disappointed that the tag match ended up being the dark match. And the JBL/Rey contest was good as well, and I'm glad to see JBL gone. And then there is Triple H/Orton. My god was that match garbage. Goes down as the 2nd worst main event in WM history in my mind. I wasn't looking forward to the match to beginning with as I was saying for weeks that it would be garbage. I figured they'd exceed my very minimum expectations, but they didn't. Terrible main event, but everything else was good. Taker/HBK saved the show though.

My Grades........

Nicole Scherziner singing America The Beautiful - better than expected......Grade C

MITB - Poor Shelton Benjamin, he deserves his shot. Shelton or Kofi should have won. Christian was cool stopping the ladder on the rope. Boos for Punk winning, he needs a turn. Punk should attack Kofi or Rey and become a heel........Grade C-

Kid Rock - Get off my screen.......Grade Z

Divas Battle Royal - Obvious why Trish, Lita etc did not show. This was a joke. Santina was funny enough, but why move the Tag match for this????......Grade F-

Jericho V Legends - Thank god for Steamboat. This was this third best match on the card due to Steamboat. The Rourke stuff was a waste of time. They would have as well built Steamboat for the last month and had Snuka, Flair and Piper in his corner....... Grade C

JBL V Rey - More nonsense. Nice to See you JBL. Again...the Divas and Kid Rock got a half-hour? This gets 5 minutes(including mic time!)......Grade F

HBK V Taker - EPIC, we all agree. Some crazy bumps from veterans. I love HBK's selling of the Tombstone, he wriggles like mad when in position, obviously trying to escape - no-one else does this, but it is something you would obviously try!!! A classic, and MOTY Candidate already. HBK is irreplaceable.....Grade A+

Cena V Show V Edge - Meh....it was there!! No drama, good ending, Superhuman Cena!!! Liked the thug life intro!!! Cena needs a turn, but not in PG WWE!!! Edge not shown going crazy after losing his title???? Grade C-

HHH V Orton - OH DEAR......Where was the heat? This should have been in the crowd, up the ramp, all over the ring, and a tear-up!!! HHH just doesn't cut it...he isnt a Austin, Rock, Hogan, Michaels, Hart, Taker, Flair or Sting. He can't carry people. Orton has a great character, but is limited in ring. The booking of the match was all wrong. They could fight around the arena, back in the ring, finishers, kick outs, sledgehammer on Orton, kick out from Orton(keep him strong!), shock RKO, kick out by HHH, Punt attempt, misses, Kick Wham Pedigree.....

Instead we get a burial and a boring one at that.....Grade F-

Overall Grade - Thank GOD for Taker and Shawn, or this would have been down with Mania 9. HHH V Orton was awful, MITB is now looking tired....Divas division is now a joke, Cena era yet again.......The WWE needs to develop a few new stars and fast - Michaels and Taker aint going to be here forever..........Grade D.

Final Point:

The Orton V HHH match result wouldnt bug me so much if he hadn't been buried! Orton looks a joke. HHH has one-upped him all the time ONE on ONE. Without the Legacy, all Orton can do is beat up Vince, Shane and Steph!!!!

I really hope HHH does his quads in again!!!

Anyone notice that apart from Santino (if you can count it) it was a night where no heel went over? Well Jericho won but it ended with Flair and the guy from Sin City in the middle of the ring. Seems like a house show with a MIB match. I bet there were a lot of happy 8year olds watching (if they stayed up that late). Plus I hate that there were only 8 matches in 4 hours! Way too much down time- WWE should assume most people watching the crap knows whats going on and doesnt need 15 mins of recap before each match.

PPV rated an F- who cares if Taker and Michaels had a good match- that doesnt affect Raw or Smackdown- This is crap.
