Wrestlemania 25 was supposed to be the 25 Anniversary...honoring the previous Wrestlemanias with great matches and some nostalgia. This Wrestlemania goes down as the worst Wrestlemania I've ever watched.

First, the WWE decides to BUMP it's Tag Team Title Unification match, basically saying 'Fuck you' to the Tag team division.

THEN, you have a 25 Diva battle royal where SANTINO wins. Santino. No comment.

The Money in the Bank was intense. Benjamin flying through the air shows you that he can entertain the hell out of ya. But WHY does Punk win the MITB? Is THIS the way the WWE says, "We're shoving Punk down your throats, fans. Deal with it." Anyway, great spots as usual.

Matt v/s Jeff could have been better. Great high spots and was glad to see Matt go over. This could be the push he's been looking for. Jeff eating Twist of Fate into the chair was epic.

The Jericho/Legends match was terrible. I respect the Dragon, Superfly, and Rowdy Roddy Piper, but c'mon. At least Jericho won. And Mickey Rourke would have been an even bigger disaster if he actually wrestled. Good call not putting him in the ring.

JBL and Rey for the IC Title was...well...horrible. JBL comes out, talks all this smack, then gets pinned in 21 seconds. Great costume by Rey, but it was the highlight of the entire match. A shame, too. JBL quit...and with good reason. Jobbing in under 30 seconds at the biggest event of the year can be scarring to someone.

Cena/Edge/Big Show sucked. What did you expect? Edge is great, Cena is good, and the Big Show is the Big Show. I like how the announcers were going nuts when Cena picked up Big Show. Sure, it's a feat to do that, but Cena's done that about 3 or 5 times. Cena going over was expected.

HHH v/s Orton has to be the most disappointing WWE title match in Wrestlemania history. All of this momentum for Orton...stopped. He goes from dangerous psycho, to being owned by HHH. Where does Orton go from here? Makes me mad to think about.

And last but not least, Taker/HBK was the only gem on this otherwise shit fest. The two spots from HBK and Taker on the outside made me cringe. HBK kicking out of the Tombstone was awesome...then eating it in a counter of a moonsault was great! Match of the Year so far.

Overall, I give Wrestlemania a D. A D because the Taker/HBK match saved this entire PPV from being a colossal failure from a match standpoint. The WWE had an attendance of over 70 thousand, so in the end, the WWE uses no lube whilst taking our dignity.

HHH once again proved that his ego is bigger than the company. At least when Hogan puleld shit liek this the fans cheered, HHH literally got no reaction when he won so there's no excuse for it. Basically the main event was befittign for the show as a whole.

Did anyone notice the HHH Orton match seemed to be rushed? Honestly the event went off the air at 10:00 central time. Exactly 4hrs. WWE got that right at least. The Kid Rock thing was way too long and caused what I believe could have been a really good title match to be rushed and weak. JBL Rey match was a complete disrespect to the IC title legacy. MITB was more extreme than Matt and Jeff. Taker HBK yes match of the night but as soon as HBK went up top for a moonsault you knew what was coming. That's the only complaint about that match. Kind of impressed by Steamboat Jericho. Rourke who cares? Triple threat was put in the perfect spot. After HBK Taker where nobody really could get into it. As there wasn't anything to get into. Diva battle royal? These past divas were never really ever shown or talked about. You make a big deal about these past divas and nothing. Plus you didn't know who everyone was in the match or who was eliminated. That should have been moved to the dvd exclusive and let the tag titles on the ppv itself.

I happen to like HHH, he is my favorite superstar, He should have gone over Orton, Triple H hasnt won at Wrestlemania in what 5 years? Besides Orton won last year, Hogan and HHH are 2 different people, u cant compare them, People loved Hogan and People love/hate HHH.

I loved it..it was funny to read some of the predictions and see how WRONG so many people were.

It was a great show..the only thing they could have kept out was the diva battle royal...I didnt even recognize any of the old faces because they all pretty much looked the same to me.

I give this PPV a 6/10. It wasn't as horrible as some made it out to be ... calling it "the Worst Wrestlemania they've ever seen" (see Wrestlemanias 2, 9, 11, and 15 if you want to see worst Manias), but it definitely was a disappointment. Fortunately, I saw the writing on the wall weeks ago when the card was being put together and didn't pay for this one.

I thought the Orton vs Triple H match was a letdown. Mostly because Orton should have won the match. No Stephanie at all. Disappointing. And rushed as well, as you could tell that they went over, thanks to the Austin Beer Bash.

Cena vs Edge vs Big Show should have never been booked in the first place. And everyone seemed to know how bad it was weeks ago when it was first announced. Cena should have won, but this match was disappointing. You would have thought Vince would have done something to spruce up this match with the finish, to put a spin on things, but he didn't. Then, Edge fucks up the finish by slipping off the Big Show. Terribly Disappointing for a Mania Main Event. Vince really needs to get away from these Triple Threat Matches, which are severely overdone at Mania.

HBK and Taker went beyond expectations, and they did a phenomenal job. 4 3/4 star match. I don't know what else I can say. We knew this was going to be the match of the show.

Jericho vs Legends should have never been booked. They should have just done a Singles match with Steamboat. Snuka and Piper had no business being in this match, and only dragged it down. Hell, Snuka can barely walk. Rourke stalled for way too long at the end.

Kid Rock was way too long. And that also bumped Miz and Morrison vs The Colons from the show, as well.

Hardyz was very good, as to be expected. Glad to see Matt get the victory.

Divas Battle Royal was shit. Again, more comedy, as if we didn't have enough in the Main Event.

I'm glad I didn't pay to watch this show, because I would have been pissed.

Again, I give it a 6/10.

I was throroughly entertained. The triple threat match I figured would not be all that great and it wasn't. Really wishing something else would have been done for Show and it would have just been Cena/Edge. And the last match had a great beginning. Alright middle as each one took finishers at the first so it had to slow down. But the ending was just anti-climatic. I was left wanting more. Punk winning was kind of a buzz kill; especially after botching what should have been an awesome Unprettier. I was left with the same face that some of the fans had and my wife had when I told her who won: O-kay. I hope they actually do something with him besides a one night suprise (winning the title). Fued him with Michaels or something. Rey/JBL was interesting but quick.

The rest of the card was good. Hardyz did better than I thought. MITB was enjoyable over all. Henry even suprised me. By the end of the match I was partly rooting for Shelton. HBK/Taker exceeded my expectations. My wife really isn't a fan and even she was getting into it.

All in all, I have to say, I was very entertained for 4 hours and glad I saw it live.

The tag unification match I was excited for vanished off PPV.

Money in the Bank proved that 8 men is too many. While there were good spots, it became an awkward balance to keep a logical amount of people involved in the action at the same time.

Kid Rock would have been awesome if it was still the 90s.

Santino, was a comedy fodder and a likely build to a comedy feud between him and Beth.

The Legend match only went to show that it should have been Steamboat vs Jericho to start. All Piper was good for was getting censored, and Snuka couldn't even time a chop properly. Steamboat actually surprised me and made this match worth watching. The Rourke ending was what needed to happen to somehow wrap up this whole angle that went awry.

The Hardy match was what was expected, some nice spots and the chair spot at the end being especially well done.

HBK/Undertaker lived up to the hype and stole the show.

The Triple Threat match wasn't any thing amazing that will go down in history. It had a lot of nice moments and while Cena winning may not have been the most desired ending for some it was logical. The match would have been viewed as better if Orton/HHH lived up to what it could have.

The main event should go down as the most disappointing title match in Wrestlemania history. While LT/ Bam Bam will still live down at worst there wasn't an expectation out of that. This was a huge build for today's state of Wrestling. Months of Orton attack McMahon's, and mind games leading up to this huge match. Where we end up with HHH essentially squashing Orton. No Legacy interference like logically a heal would, and not the McMahon swerve many expected. After the initial double finisher this match went no where and is a match I have no interest in ever watching again.

I would give it a 6. Putting it above Wrestlemania 9 and still way above 2 and 11.

Taker HBK delievered. However it didn't beat Taker Angle NWO 06 which is what I was hoping for, but the match was awesome still. ONLY reason I ordered, and I knew it would deliver.

MITB was meh. Worse of the 5, but it wasn't bad. Best spot was Christian stopping himself from falling over with him cathing the rope with one foot then pushing him self back. Sheltons flip was nice too.

Hardy vs Hardy I'm sorry I was expecting more. I loved the finish with the twist of fate with the chair though, that was pretty risky!

I cant believe they had HHH Orton main event. It was boring. I'm sorry I know I talked shit before, ok, but after watching it I was so bored, and the reaction after showed how bored the crowd was too. HHH had to be in the main event.

Jericho vs Steamboat was 3rd best match of the night. Hardys and of course Taker HBK were the only ones to beat this. This says a LOT when the top three matches were NON title matches and a man who hasnt wrestled in God knows how long!

I can sum it up best as entertaining. That's not to say that this was technically a great PPV full of great wrestling, but it was, nonetheless, entertaining.

The highlight of the night clearly goes to the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. They tore the house down in their home state. I knew this was going to steal the show and it did, and there were actually points I feared that the Undertaker was going to lose his streak! This was a fantastic match, one of the best matches in Wrestlemania history, and arguably the Taker's best overall match in his entire 17-0 Wrestlemania career. It's a classic!

The Hardy's were entertaining. It's nice to see Extreme Rules actually go a little "Extreme" for a change. Entertaining match, a couple great spots, and heck, even though Jeff carried it as far as the spots are concerned, that finish with Jeff crash landing from the ladder was great. Even greater was the twist of fate involving the chair. That was sick and a great way to end that match and hey, who would've thought Matt Hardy gets a rub over Jeff at Wrestlemania?

The Money in the Bank was good, not great. It was definitely entertaining, even though I feel it was the worst Money in the Bank thus far. However, even the worst in this variety equals a good, entertaining match! The only disappointment was Punk winning a second time. I got disgusted as soon as the show started and everyone else watching with me kind of felt the same way. How could he do it two years in a row? I'm officially rooting for Punk to now be the first guy to lose when he cashes in.

Everything else, unfortunately, was a mixed bag. The triple threat actually was better than I thought. Cena's feat was impressive. The legends match was better than expected because, heck, who know Steamboat still had this type of fight in him? I was totally shocked. They would've been so much better off just turning this into Steamboat standing up for the other legends and doing a one on one match. Their portion was actually quite decent. The Divas is what you'd expect. The Intercontinental Title was treated no different than the ECW title was last year. Is this type of squash title match becoming a Wrestlemania tradition? WWE Championship match was, well, a letdown. I think this is proof that HHH shouldn't be in this spot any longer. He's just not a horribly entertaining guy anymore. His matches are usually subpar. There was a time I'd never say this, but now I actually feel John Cena may not be a better "wrestler" than HHH, but his matches are a heck of a lot more entertaining. And the ending, so anticlimatic. HHH knocks him out, pummels him, pedigrees him. That is the type of decisive ending that made Orton look horribly weak.

And the tag titles being unified before the show because we have to see a 10-15 minute Kid Rock concert? Come on.

What the fuck? Even if you like HHH I dont' see how you can defend that dog shit match him and Orton put on. People don't love HHH, he beat a man who destroyed his REAL LIFE family and you could barely hear the crowd when he won. HHH hasn't won in 5 years but it dosen't matter, if he wasn't in title matches all those years he probably would have picked up a few wins. Winning at WM isn't about balancing your win/loss record, it's about goign with what makes sense. What's the poitn of building Orton up so much just for him to job to HHH, and in a shit match to boot? Any reason Orton comes up with for this fued to continue is gonna be stupid now, because he lost (pretty much) clean.

I said this in the HHH Vs Orton post, but you know they are going to try to work some shit where HHH loses the strap to Orton anyway because of the sledgehammer shot. All in all, I'm glad I didn't plunk down the money for it. I just read the results and was like, "Oh, thats it?" It read like a Raw episode than the freakin 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania.

Exactly I thought Orton should have won, but it wasn't about that. When put in the biggest match in what was being billed as the biggest Wrestlemania ever they didn't get the job done. It can be debated over whose fault it is (I place it on both HHH/Orton equally), but when it comes down to it was a terrible match that I wouldn't have been happy with on Raw nevermind for the money I paid to watch the ppv.

After all the Hype, all the glitz and glamour, The 25th anniversary of "the wrestlemania"(quote Andre the Giant 1987) was a huge dissapointment. It was not worth the 54.95 (64.95 if you got it in HD!)!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match had botched spots left and right, and the crowd booes the hell out of CM Punk when he won the match. CM Punk was greatness in ROH, and his earlier days in the new ECW. But his matches have become "WWE-ized". His move list is down to about 5 moves and it drives me crazy. Thanks for shoving this guy down our throats since no one gives a crap anymore.

The 25 Diva Battle Royal was a slap in the face to Miz, Morrison, Primo and Carlito. From what I hear the tag title unification match was an very entertaining bout. and to put this instead of the tag title match just epitimizes the downfall of the Tag Team Division in World Wrestling Entertainment. And to add, Kid Rock stunk up the joint for ten minutes.

Jericho vs. The Legends was a snooze fest until it came down to Steamboat and Jericho. Steamboat looked very good in the ring as he was able to keep up with Jericho for the few minutes they were in the ring together. Entertaining stuff. Until there was Mickey Rourke....:-(

Hardy vs. Hardy was quite entertaining. Good brawl and great spots by both men. Twist of Fate with the chair was SICK. Second best match of the night.

IC title match seemed like more of a time killer than a form of entertainment. We watched JBL talk for 5 minutes and then we got a twenty second match. Mysterio's outfit was neat looking though. I can't believe how sad the Intercontinental Title has become. Davey Smith and Owen Hart are probably rolling around in there graves right now.

Taker. Michaels. Wow. Probably THE best match I have seen in a long time...and that's saying something, considering I keep up with all 3 big promotions. I was at a party of about 30 people watching this, and everyone had to stand up and give this match a round of applause. Probably the most entertaining work since Rock-Hogan. Near-fall after Near fall. Oh, by the way, the streak will NEVER end;-) MATCH OF THE NIGHT. MATCH OF THE YEAR. HELL MATCH OF THE DECADE. that's right I said it. This should of been the main event. But instead we got......

Cena-Big Show-Edge. World title. Cena makes this weird entrance that he stole from Eminem in the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards with all the look-a-likes. The match was mediocre. I'd probaby give it 2-5 stars for perfectly acceptable wrestling, but the Taker-HBK match just destroyed anything else that the WWE has given us in the past 10 years. Can't say I was suprised with Cena leaving with the strap.

Then after weeks and weeks of punts and RKO's and sledgehammer shots and a BRILLIANT build-up to what should of been a great match, HHH and Randy Orton went out there for 20 minutes and put 72,000 fans straight to sleep. Trips went out there and made Orton his bitch. Now I am a Randy Orton SuperMarkbut even if i wasn't I would say Orton should have gone over. Or AT THE LEAST gave us a better finish then that.

I want to thank the WWE writing Team, HHH, and Vince mcMahon for raping me and hundreds of thousands of fans of 60 dollars.

The 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania: EPIC FAIL

i didn't like this PPV apart from a few spots and obviously taker/michaels, but one thing that would of been good to have come out of punk winning MITB again were if Edge had retained the title, and right after punk were to have cashed it in there.. twice goin over to edge though over the same thing is a lil.. dull. but it's better then having punk parade around for months saying he is the two time MITB champion!

ahhh.. where are the old WCW tapes when you need em?? =[

I was thoroughly surprised tonight at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania. The problem, is that my surprise actually comes from the lack of surprises it had to offer. Let me explain... most years there are epic moments. Some years there are curve balls that people don't expect, and leave you in awe of a perfectly crafted plan.

Don't get me wrong, there were definitely a couple surprises, but none of them were very good ones. The thing that shocked me the most, is that I was right about a lot of things. I predicted, like most people, that WWE would waste certain angles and matches that could have been fantastic. Things that could have stolen the show, will be forgotten by Raw tomorrow night. Basically, I was surprised that I was right about Wrestlemania be a huge let down for me. Yeah, I said it was going to suck, but I fully expected to be proved wrong. That Vince would plan things that shocked me and blew me away. But no...the advertised matches went on as planned. The matches ended traditionally. Nobody got screwed. No angles were pushed any harder. Nobody talked, which was weird. It just seemed like WWE wanted to get through the night, and move on to next year. Here are my thoughts from Mania:

-MITB: Good choice to start the show with this. That's what I thought at first. Turns out that even with Kofi, CM Punk, MVP, Christian, and Benjamin in the match, Kane and Mark Henry still didn't really do anything. I was shocked that there weren't many Mania moments here. No Morrison Moonsault with a ladder type moments. A LOT of botched moves kept this from really be any good. I did not expect CM Punk to win at all. I think he's an aweful World Champion, and there's no room for him in the Championship chase right now. I still think Vince should have sucked it up and given it to Christian or Kane. Have them challenge for the ECW title. Speaking of which, anybody think it's odd that they didn't even get a mention on the Mania card? No Swagger, Tommy Dreamer...nothing? Man, does Vince hate ECW or what? I would have rather seen a title match than this years MITB. I loved Hornswaggle's leap though. Awesome.
-Santino wins Miss Wrestlemania. Great. Moving on...that'll be a waste of 15 minutes on Raw tomorrow. Hearing Beth and Santino fight...looking forward to it. NOT
-Chris Jericho's match was good and bad for me. Snuka and Piper looked aweful, and apparently nobody told Piper about WWE's new PG rating. BUT, holy cow did Steamboat look great! I'm glad they gave him some time to fight, because he looked better than Flair did last year! However, in the end, Jericho won, as he should have. Flair got the Codebreaker. As he should have. They build up Jericho as a great heal for this, and he did his job the best he could under the circumstances. But yeah, Mickie Rourke hit his knockout punch FTW. I'm supposed to believe that even though Taker and HBK punched the crap out of each other, one single punch from Rourke to the back of the head no less, knocks out Jericho? Takes him down? Bull shit. Also, I'm supposed to believe all the legends honor was defended by that? It was crap. Steamboat looked good, WWE is forgeting about Jericho now that Orton is awesome.
-Matt beats Jeff. Knew he'd get the heal win. Had to be one tonight... the match wasn't that great though, compared to what I was expecting. I liked that last Twist of Fate though, that was sick. Whatever, the feud continues.
-JBL quits. IN doing so, the IC title was put right back down in the crapper. He was supposed to be bringing it honor. And he lost it in a 21 second match at Wrestlemania. That just makes it look 21 times worse. The belt obviously doesn't matter. Good bye JBL. I thought you could have done better. Good luck filling in for Tazz.
-Taker beats HBK. No complaints. No surprises either. It was great. Just as expected.
-John Cena had 100 people saying "you can't see me" as he walked to the ring. I LOVED that they played his old music. I actually had just finished saying, "it would be awesome if they played his old music." And they did. Awesome. But he won. Just like everybody assumed he would. More Edge vs. Cena in the rematch. God, I am a Cena fan, that hates him so much. I wish Edge would have won...
-Orton vs. Triple H-What the hell? Seriously? Of course, the McMahons have to look good, over getting Randy Orton to be the new face of the company. Can't they step aside and let a heal actually run things? I was dissapointed in this. Decent match, but it was the biggest surprise for me all night. Too bad it wasn't a good one.

So, no run-ins. No rules changed. No surprises at all. No Stone Cold giving a speech, getting involved with Jericho. Nobody talked at all tonight. How weird was that? No promos. Just matches straight through. And the pyro sucked tonight. The entrances weren't anything special. Cena's clan was ridiculous and made no sense. YOu're right, people can't see you. Even people dressed up like you, just can't see you. So move. Get out the way. Get out the way.

I wanted something to shock me. A reason to keep watching, to figure out what will happen next... I don't care about any outcome. I hope CM Punk loses the MITB, or goes to ECW. I hope Orton wins soon...though his crazy momentum since 2008 was killed tonight. A win a Backlash is nothing compared to being the last face people see at Mania. I'm dissapointed, cuz everything I thought would happen, did happen. Just once WWE, prove me wrong...

Should've been called WrestleMehnia 2.5 (out of 5 stars) I've already posted my detailed opinions on the ppv in the general Wrestlemania discussion thread, so i'll summarize

Tag Match not being on the card is terrible, especially since I didn't know and had to figure it during the show.

IC match was dumb. Mysterio's outfit was the best part

I officially hate Kid Rock. We give up a Tag team unification match for a mini-concert? Wait, what?

Mickey Rourke took longer to get into the ring than the Undertaker.

Main events lacked surprised. The triple threat didn't tell much story; Vickie should've been involved more. HHH winning was bullshit and killed Orton's momentum. What a boring main event.

I like Punk, but MVP or Christian should've won MITB.

Diva's match was confusing and I hated the lack of intros, especially for the past divas.

Seriously...how f***ing awesome was Steamboat tonight???

Not taking anything away from HBK...but I think I'd have rather seen Steamboat v. Flair one last time.

That was the reason I bought the PPV and it made it worth every penny.

MITB was ok, not as good as last year. I'm a big CM Punk fan, but even I think they need to ease up a bit with him.

Divas match...meh. They could have done a lot more.

With the unification of the Tag Titles, perhaps they'll unify the World and WWE titles again??

Both World Championship matches were ok.

JBL and Rey...meh.

HBK and Undertaker was very predicable, but still a great match. It gave everything it promised.

Hardy's was a good spotfest. I hope Jeff didn't break his tailbone.

But really my highlight of the night was seeing Ricky Steamboat and Chris Jericho put on an old school wrestling clinic. I certainly hope this isn't Steamboat's last in ring performance. He may be grey and a little thin up top, and he may not be the chiseled beast he used to be, but damn if he isn't still exciting, technical and just plain the man.

I had to make a account just to give my review on WM25, because this was just a bad PPV. I'll be nice, give it a 5/10 total, Here is my run down.

Tag Team Unification Match- Wow, i can only say i really wanted to see this. It just just about as much build up as HHH/Orton, and yet it got cut? Are you kidding me? The two teams put on amazing matches almost every night, and they wrestled in some way, shape or form at least once a week. All that basically got thrown away when we didn't get to see the conclusion. (0/5)

Money in The Bank - I dunno if i'm more disappointed in this match or the HHH/Orton, but this was a crazy out of left corner disappointment. There was alot of botches, both in ring and on the commentary side, but it all came down to when Christian saved himself from falling out of the ring. The crown blew up after each step Christian took toward grabbing the case. Yet... in the end, they have Punk win... and he gets boo'd out of the building. THAT, if anything, should show you Vince. Christian SHOULD be a top tier guy. I honestly expected Christian to win and cash in on his "brother' Edge after he retained. It would have set up a nice angle if Edge leaves due to injuries then comes back to fued Christian. Now Punk has it, and i could a sworn i heard people say his reign was cut short cause he didn't have the star power, yet we find ourselves in the same spot... (2/5)

Kid Rock + Diva Battle Royal - Did Kid Rock really need to take that long? The battle royal was somewhat of a complete joke. They didn't put emphasis at all on the returning divas, and if someone mentioned Trish being in there, guess what? I didn't even know that lol. I seen Victoria and Molly Holly, and heard on commentary that Ms. Jackie was eliminated and that Torrie was eliminated...even the current divas didnt have much emphasis, the camera was panned too far out. Santino wins, joy? i guess.. lol (1/5)

Hardy vs Hardy - This was a good match, but i agree with others as it should of kept going for a bit longer. It was likely cut short due to other stupid parts in the PPV that were un-needed. Matt Hardy winning is refreshing, because he deserves it. So thank god for that. (4/5)

JBL vs Rey - Pointless match, as others say, it made the IC title look bad. It wasted time for what good have been a good IC title match or even the 6 min JBL promo could have went toward the Tag title match. (1.5/5)

Austin Beer Bash - This was nice to see, the crowd was really into it. But i cant help but feel it went on a little too long. I mean at the HOF, Austin said that he was going to cut it short, so everyone could get in their nights sleep for WM. I love Austin, it was good to see, but i really want WWE to start focusing on making their future stars. Because their future stars arnt looking too good as is.(3.5/5)

3 way World Title Match - I do dislike Cena, but even with him winning, the match as is could have been done better. Alot better. It was really slow to me, it felt like every spot was done over like 5 minutes. Like i said, it sucks to see Cena with the strap again, but the match itself could have been alot better. (2.5/5)

HHH vs Randy Orton - Woooww, just like everyone else said. This is how to bury a future star to the fullest. All that build up for Orton. Only to be shut down by HHH. They even mentioned that every Orton reign as champion was ended by HHH. HHH did not need this to fill his ego. He could have kept the fued going till Backlash without him being champion. Now i see Orton doing a promo on RAW about HHH cheating with the Sledge, which leads to a rematch at Backlash. It would be pointless for Orton to win then, cause his Rumble win is still overshadowed by HHH jobbing him out. So i can only say WOW, whoever was behind this, Vince, HHH, Creative, has really got to get their head out of their a$$. The lights are dimming are stars like Taker and HBK, and the lights for future stars is still nowhere near being turned on. (1/5)

I'm very disappointed with this 25th anniversary of WM. Should have been ALOT better.

wrestlemania is getting worst and worst. and to think there's another 5-10 yrs of cena wrestling in main events... i'd probably give up ordering wrestlemania's... triple h/orton was beyond stale... there was no energy, the crowd wasn't into it, no big spots... nobody gave a crap when triple h won. and punk winning MITB? are you kidding me? why does a guy that had already won a world title deserve to win MITB again? christian, MVP, shelton, Kofi are all more deserving than punk. only one match was worth the money tonight, and that is taker/hbk. watching steamboat wrestle was worth it too. but other than that, what a waste of money. bottomline, triple h should have lost tonight.

MITB=waste of tyme and that's sad cuz its suppose 2 b a great match,I would hav ratha seen mvp win over cm punk

divas match=they messed up big tyme with this match,it would hav been cool 2 see mccool, beth, melina or mickie

unification match=wish we all could hav seen that one but I guess we hav to wait for the dvd(if any1 buys it cuz wm25 sucked ass)

rey vs jbl=really liked the outfit that rey had but it was a waste cuz he was only in the match for 21 seconds...moving on

matt vs jeff=could hav ben betta,I expected more from the hardys

triple treat match=everyone knew cena would win...nuff said

legends vs y2j=steamboat and jericho was the highlight...nuff said

taker vs hbk=honestly I was literally on the edge of my seat, best match of the night, thought taker killed himself when he took that dive

orton vs triple h=honestly I don't kno about everyone else but I'm sick and tired of triple h,orton clearly should hav won that match I mean for christ sakes he won the freakin rumble and usually when that happens they go on to win at mania

overall grade on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give this mania a 5 and that's only because of taker vs hbk and jericho and steamboat otherwise wm25 sucked.vince needs to go back to the drawing board and mak things more interesting again

Hindsight being 20/20, I am glad my wife did not let me order this crap-tastic ppv. Not withstanding the Taker/HBK epic I would have to give this supposed grand spectacle a solid D. WM25 had no suspense, no surprises, no nothing. What a waste, it was the 25th freakin anniversary of WM, and yet all we got was a RAW/Smackdown supershow.

The MiTB was good way to start it off and I was definitely proud of Kofi, he had a great showing (loved when jumped through the middle of the ladder.) I was quite surprised to see Punk win it two years in a row, but then again I wasn't. Great spots overall but quite a few bad botches. A lot people where I was at was marking of MVP hard... so was I a little. Grade: C

Diva Battle Royal was a complete joke. Santino is now officially gay. Grade: F

The Legends match with Jericho was completely predictable but I was quite surprised by Steamboat, he actually looked good out there. I along with everyone was begging to hear that glass break but sadly all we was given was rubbish. WWE dropped the ball there as far as I'm concerned. Grade:D

The Hardy's put on a great match and I was glad that they actually let Matt pull this one out. That was a sick spot at end with the chair and twist of fate. I missed a big portion of this match but from what I saw it was definitely not bad. Grade: B

Mysterio/JBL was almost as predictable as "Santina" winning Ms. Wrestlemania. But sadly I have to take away a letter grade for Rey's horrible entrance. Although it was liked by some, that Joker mask was indeed a joke. Grade: D

Undertaker and Michaels put on one of the greatest WM matches of all time and I was glued to it the whole time. Again it was a sort of predictable match as everyone knew Taker wouldn't lose the streak. I jumped and marked for all the false finishes, that match took me back to being a kid watching wrestling again, I was excited and enthralled all in one. Taker and Shawn always bring their A game at WM so you expect an epic. Grade: A

Yet again on the dull and predictable front we get a Cena/Edge/Show farter. I like Cena (to a point) but damn it all if we didn't see that one coming. No drama, no suspense and there was no build. I'm starting to sound repetitive here. I was fully expecting Batista to show up at end and clear house but yet I was let down again (I'm used to it.) Grade:C

And the "Stinker of the Night" goes to... HHH/Orton. What lame way to end a lame WM. So many great possible storylines could have came this match's conclusion but HHH's God-complex won't allow him to lose to Orton. What a wasted opportunity to have Orton reach the mountaintop on the grandest stage and give him a real chance to show he can be a leader. And they managed to totally destroy any credibility Legacy had in the process. I never would have imagined that they let Orton lose clean. I was hoping for a Legacy run-in at the end for a showdown with the McMahon faction but to have either Shane or Vince turn on H and cost him the title. But thanks to the horrible booking of the match (cough HHH cough) we get absolutely nothing at all (thanks creative way to drop the ball again.) Very very very disappointing match that was hyped so much. Grade :F

From the Department of the Redundancy Department: WrestleMania was lame, dull, predictable and a stinker! I would have expected Vince to pull out all stops for his 25th anniversary show, make it one to remember for all time. Sadly this ended up being an historical event that has to go down as one of the all-time worst Wrestlemania's ever. I love my wife, I think I need to listen to her more often! $65 dollars for that crap?.. I would've been pissed.

What are your match grades?.. or just give WM25 an overall grade.
