Rampage Jackson to appear at Survivor Series?

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson impressed both fans and critics on Saturday night, besting the odds, illness and much of Lyoto Machida best blows to earn a split decision at UFC 123.

"The fight was almost canceled a couple of days ago," Jackson said. "I caught a fever from my son and I was throwing up and then I had to cut weight."

But Jackson proved the comeback kid in UFC this weekend. And now he may be ready for a WWE comeback of sorts.

Although Jackson has never officially been placed within the WWE roster, he has already developed a close relationship with the pro wrestling outfit.

Rampage even guest hosted RAW on June 7th and said being so close to the action was like a childhood dream come true.

Jackson has publicly stated on multiple occasions that he would love to wrestle for WWE.

The rumor mill today is spinning that Jackson was invited to attend WWE Survivor Series tonight, as a front row guest in the arena.

At this time, it isn't clear if Jackson will be there for certain or if he will be acknowledged on camera.

Once source inside WWE tells me that original plans (to be determined by the shape Jackson was in after his fight) called for the UFC fighter to be "engaged" by CM Punk in the front row, much the way NFL great Lawrence Taylor engaged Bam Bam Bigelow in the build-up to their Wrestlemania 11 match (Bam Bam shoved Taylor to the ground and sparked their planned feud).

I think that this is some major BS. Last I heard Punk is injured no quite sure the extent of it though. Secondly Rampage said that he's done acting he wants to go back to the Pride days of his MMA career and focus on that. I really doubt this will happen tonight but if so i'd be interesting.

Punk is healthy enough to be on television and he actually was on TV this week. No reason why he can't start a Mania feud tonight.

Interview that proves you wrong. said:
In an interview with Ariel Helwani of Fanhouse.com, UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson said that he would absolutely wrestle for WWE after his MMA fight career is over. Rampage, who is main eventing Saturday night's UFC 123 PPV against fellow former Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, is a lifelong wrestling fan.

Rampage guest hosted RAW on June 7th with his A-Team movie co-stars and said it was a dream come true. He told Helwani that Big Show taught him the chokeslam and Ted DiBiase was really cool. Everybody he met while hosting RAW was down to earth and the WWE superstars are "really cool people."

Rampage said he's a huge WWE fan and if he never became an MMA fighter, he would have been a pro wrestler. When asked if he'll ever do it, he said "Yeah, if they'll have me."

He added that he would not want to undergo WWE's hectic travel schedule due to his family at home, but would love to get involved and would work occasional angles.

Rampage Jackson confirmed for Nexus, and anonymous GM.

Honestly though, that'd be pretty cool.

That doesn't mean to say he can't do what almost every celebrity that’s participated at Mania did and only show up on TV in a build-up towards a match at Mania as the article speculates.

I'm not saying that he wouldnt do that. When I said the interview was "priving him wrong", I meant when he said...

Secondly Rampage said that he's done acting he wants to go back to the Pride days of his MMA career and focus on that
