Rammstein and Ballad don't usually go together...

I am The Last Baron
... But this is an epic exception

edit it if it is felt that the video is inappropriate, there are probably a number of videos that work. This is just the first one that I could find with where I am right now.

I've always had a spot for Rammstein in my music collection. It just widdened up to remove Cannibal Corpse from that list. Like they were a big loss.

Cannibal Corpse > Rammstein

In every single way.

I'd rather have a band sing in angst about one's country and bash to the ground than having a band sing about having periods from their penis.

Cannibal Corpse, Deicide and other related bands should rot, they seem to enjoy it.

EDIT: This is coming from a huge Arch Enemy fan.

Deicide are quite good, much better than Corpse or Rammstein.

Napalm Death bests them all though.

I much prefer the melodic side of death metal, they seem to do a better job in providing emotion and story to the songs. Like Bodom and Arch Enemy.

I fail to see what Deicide try to accomplish. However, Napalm isn't all that bad.

Ugh Children of Bodom? Can't stand them. Arch Enemy is decent. Napalm Death is better than the both of them though.

Meshuggah is where it's at.

Also, Dying Fetus. But you've likely never heard of them.

With a name ike Dying Feotus, I will never want to hear of that band. Disguisting.

What I don't get is the Bodom hate. Maybe their singer isn't the best, but the music is pretty solid. Since I am a Enemy mark, I would say they outrank Napalm. How can you go wrong with Angela Gossow with a side of Carcass?

Also, The Agonist are looking well in climbing the ranks. They aren't the best band live, but that girl can sing and scream.

EDIT: Listen to Shadow. Opeth is one of the best. Opeth > Napalm. Not to mention Nightwish here as well...

Well actually I would debate the question about Rammstein and ballad not going well together. One of my favourite Rammstein songs was always Amour from Reise Reise

Nebel from the Mutter album was also a cool atmospheric ballad eske song, and every true Rammstein fan knows the awesomeness that is Seemann.

That all being said I do quite like the new song, its a bit different from what Rammstein normally release as their opening single and I am looking forward to the new album on friday.

And to pick up on what Shadowmancer said about Opeth and following on with the ballad theme :)
