R-Truth's Promo Ruined By Technical Difficulties

THEpapachamp

YOUR POST IS GONNA GET GOT!!!
I don't know if everyone had this same problem with there cable or sat. But RAW opened up with a R-truth promo totally ruined by Technical Difficulties.

Does anyone else think this is funny?

I've been watching RAW since 1993 and never remember this ever happening but it happens to R-Truth?..

Yeah it happened to me too, actually I have turned the channel to watch American Chopper. If the start of the show is any indication, this RAW may be forgetable.

Seemed real. They can easily write it in next week though with R-Truth's conspiracy theory angle. They're lucky it was R-Truth getting cut off. Anyone else and it'd be tougher to work around.

Lots of what Cena said was cut off too. They mentioned they had Technical difficulties, and Truth was screwing with merchandise stands or something before the sound cut off.

I thought WWE did a good job of covering by saying that it was R Truth's fault when King was heard for the first time but next week, as has been said, they will probably play it into the whole R Truth Conspiracy Angle. I still think it was funnier when Jericho did it in WCW though...

As Brain said, technical difficulties. Happens to every live telecast at some point. there's nothing you can do about it, except roll with the punches.

WWE, to their credit, actually did a damn good job of rolling with the punches. The commentators blamed the heel doing his promo (while wrong, it was plausible that he could have accidentally unplugged something), then an hour later the R-Truth himself even tweeted that it was further proof of a WWE led conspiracy against him.

If this is any indication of what you consider watchable television, your life may be pretty forgettable.

I think its perfect for the storyline. Truth can come out next week and say that there's a conspiracy, he says the WWE Production trucks didn't want his rants to be heard. He can say he spoke the truth, and the truth was cut off. They lie and say there's no conspiracy against him, But when good ol' John Cena comes to the ring and starts yapping his usual company-bred promotional mumbo jumbo, the technical difficulties disappear.

(Of course, Cena was cut off for about a minute too, but forget about it, this works with the storyline perfectly.)

Thank you GOD!!
I hope there is a really conspiracy going.... I hate R-Truth!!

But kidding aside, they need to be more careful and it is a good thing for Truth!!

I thought it worked better this way. Focused more on the physical side of his insane behavior. Good stuff.
Really? I was tempted to change the channel. I could only imagine that I'd have done just that if I hadn't DVR'd this and fast forwarded through the silence. Also, R-Truth's physicality worked even better in the main eventer with the sweet sensation of audience keeping my eardrums comfortably occupied.
