I actually started this awhile back, but it only lasted one week as I got lazy and eventually forgot all about it. I'm looking for more then one response to my thread this time around (thanks, xfear). Well, this is officially the second edition of this, and I'm going with a favorite of mine, a more modern hardcore punk band...

MODERN LIFE IS WAR

Modern Life Is War was a melodic hardcore punk band from Marshalltown, Iowa. While playing live they took a new route in the modern hardcore punk sound creating their own very unique sound, and essentially avoiding all breakdowns. The band had a six year run from the years of 2002-2008. The band was started, by vocalist Jeffrey Eaton. During these six years they released four albums. Modern Life Is War EP, My Love My Way, Witness, and Midnight In America. The band was most love for Eaton's excellent vocals, an their well maintained instrumentals.

[The Bearded One]

My friend showed me this band a few months ago. I wasn't really liking them too much for whatever reason, but then "By The Sea" came on. The ending of that song is just amazing with the gang vocals going back and forth. I'm not really too familiar with any of their other songs since every time I try to listen to them I always end up just listening to "By the Sea" over and over again. I guess you posted youtube videos on here, but for some reason they aren't working on my computer. I wouldn't say I am a fan of theirs, but that is an awesome song.
