Getting Noticed By Management
Im not even sure if I spelt his name right, lol, but who would like to see Psichosis in TNA. TNAwrestlingnews.com is reporting he wants in and I for one would love to see him there. The X-Division could really use some characters and he definately brings that. I also miss a lot of the lucha-libre style and feel that would follow him into TNA.

I would love to see Juventud Guerrera in TNA too but he is trouble, and apart from the latest little thing, I have never ever heard bad things about Psichosis.

What do you all think?

he is a great talent, he is a little sloppy at times, but he can fly, he can brawl, get the mask back on and your set to go...

His name's actually spelled Psicosis...

It would be nice to have a genuine luchadore in the X-Division. Psicosis is a quality performer and he'd put on some good matches...HOWEVER, there are far better options than Psicosis. First of all, dude's in his mid-30s. It's safe to say that luchadores begin declining in their early 30s due to their reckless style. Plus luchadores usually start wrestling in their mid to late teens. Second of all, there are guys that can probably be contracted from Mexico that'll cost far less than Psicosis - young, better quality guys too.

Overall, I wouldn't mind his presence in the X-Division. He wouldn't ask for too great of a contract. It would inarguably be a good pick-up for TNA. So, why not? But...there are definitely better options than Psicosis

I voted no. I think there are plenty of better options for TNA to pursue in terms of adding X-division competitors to the roster. Puma is one. The guy received consistent pops and praise from the audience in every one of his TNA matches. I loved Psicosis and cherish his early ECW and WCW encounters, but if you watch those matches compared to anything recent, he's lost about one-third of his overall mobility and I know it'll just get worse as time moves on. If I was TNA, I'd also take a look at grabbing either some more indy talent (what the hell happened to Roderick Strong?), and some of the puroresu groups like All Japan as their juniors are awesome these days.

kasay, if I am not mistaken, strong had an attitude problem or something, can't remember.

I voted yes for psicosis...he was in TNA before, and he did great. In fact, on the second PPV of TNA, he was in the match with Low Ki, Jerry Lynn, and AJ Styles to crown the first Xdivision champ...and I think he did a hell of a job. I would love to see him with the mask on one more time, but I respect the tradition of once you lose it, its gone for good.

I really dont think Pscosis can move like he used to, to keep up with the X-Division.. If I see him doing anything in TNA is joining LAX and making it more of a faction, rather then a Tag Team.. I wouldnt doubt after that, if they went all out and had like 7 people in LAX.. Other then that, I cant see Pscosis really doing much in TNA.. Hes nowhere near what he onces was.

You're right, I think. I remember that he and Aries were admonished by TNA officials for their attitude and tardiness or something along those lines. That was when Austin's push was derailed overnight and Strong vanished like a fart in the wind. I still have that match on my best of the X-division DVDs and Psicosis was okay in it. The crowd was burnt and didn't respect the work ethic, so even though that match was awesome, they weren't really into it. I do like the guy's offensive repertoire and still remember him as being the pioneer (stateside anyway) of Christian's finisher. Psicosis used it on Rey back at Road Wild in 1998 and it looked way better than Christian's version. I just watched some of my old ECW DVDs and Psi's matches in 1995 were freaking amazing. I just noticed that his whole run with the Mexicools that all of the pops were generated by Super Crazy and not him. Not that I'd ever call that a surefire sign of talent, but I remember when he was fast and agile enough to bring coma patients back to life with his wrestling. If he can't do that anymore, then I guess I'm just not that interested. I'd trade him for Norman Smiley in a heartbeat, though.:headbanger:

I understand what you're saying, but I don't think that judging him based on his WWE matches is fair. He was limited in what he could do with the WWE, and he was very cautious not to do anything that might piss of the boss coz he really didn't want to lose his spot. I remember reading a WZ article on how he came into the WWE very scared and wanted to do whatever he could to stay on the good side of management. His career had been given a jumpstart and he was scared to jeopardise it. I think we should watch how he does in AAA in the next few months and judge his remaining ability based on what he shows there.

But I also agree there is much better talent out of Mexico. I simply brought his name up as he is a better known luchadore and moreso simply becuase he brought up that he wanted in.

^My opinions of him also came from watching his final run in WCW as well as his last pre-WWE turn in TNA. He just doesn't have the snap in his game that he once did, and if there is one thing that is painful to watch, it's a wrestler that doesn't know when it's time to either revamp the whole shebang, or just hang up the boots altogether and quit while he's still ahead.

I used to be a fan but I dont think he deserves another oppertunity. He got fired for stealing somebody's car if he had'nt have done that he might possibly still be employed by WWE.

Him in TNA is a yes, i think that he never shouldve left the company and that once they get him, all they need is Taijiri and Kidman and the X div is all set.

I would love to see him back in TNA.. But I would like to see him in LAX tho... It would be sweet... I love LAX even tho they make me feel like a stupid GRINGO at time but they still kick ass and Pscosios is a hell of a flyer.. One of my favorite Luchas of all time

I think it would be great to see him in TNA, he could really add something to the X Division if they allow him to. Its a shame he had to screw up his place in WWE, at the time of his release he was supposed to be getting a new gimmick as WWE told him to grow a moustache. I found the Mexicools gimmick to be very entertaining and felt it should have ended in a great PPV match between the two, but instead it took place on smackdown. I hope this car incident is just a one time thing and he doesn't turn in The Juice.

When I see shit like that I thank god for putting that car in front of Psicosis. WWE always thinks they know best and always fuck up everyones gimmicks. What the fuck is Psicosis gonna do as a turn of the century Mexican republican in 16th century cacky suits like a prize hunter and oh its too painfull to continue.

WTF is wrong with people up there? This is why WWE will be shit for years to come. Nobody up there has a clue and even worse nobody up there has a clue that they need to get a clue. They actually think that they are doing well. I like it to be honest. Hopefully they stay tranced in this false sense of security long enough for TNA to rise to its level.

As for Psicosis in TNA. Ive said it b4. There are better athletes out there on the indies, but he would still be a nice addition to the roster nonetheless.

Co-sign. I've seen some bad gimmicks and angles, but you figure with the credentials of their writing staff and their overall experience and dominance in the business, they'd actually know $hit from shinola when it comes to promotional management. As much as WWE has succeeded at certain periods, Vince McMahon is a continual example of failing upwards in life. They get luckier more times than they get smart. I hope they stay like they are. I want to see another company come up to that level of exposure and make wrestling as a WHOLE interesting again. I'm tired of having to Tivo Raw, ECW, and Smackdown and cue through the majority of the show because it's generally a steaming heap of crap.

I agree with Kidman and Tajiri. Kidman would need to get back into his prime shape, though. Tajiri could go back to wrestling his ECW style against credible workers in matches that would really showcase his talent and not just use him for giggles and to be fed to larger, untalented wrestlers. They should also try to get Super Crazy so he's no longer wasted wrestling against guys who can barely disseminate a wristlock from a doorlock.

I don't know why WWE broke up Mexicools. That was like a mexican version of DX.
