Apparently, grey rep without a comment is always green, except the person doesn't have enough rep power for it to be green yet. If he's trying to red rep you, he has to leave a comment. If there's no comment but it's grey, it's automatically green. Or so I'm told.

I have the same problem as you. I've had to use my phone for wrestlezone recently due to a move and I have tried writing comments but it doesn't allow me. Well I type one letter then it goes away.
Also thanks guys for getting me over 2000 wasn't expecting the large support and when I got over it made me really happy. I think I'm worth 3 now and in 100ish posts I should be worth 4.

But you have to realize red from coco plus a nice comment is actually a green. Unless of course you didn't get a nice comment in which you got red.
