A message on my computer says i dont have enough disk space and it says i only have 5.26mb free of 9.99gb.

I want to know how i can fix this because now i cant download some stuff since i had to completely restart my computer yesterday.

Their pretty cheap for internal hard drives, but you should figure out how much space you'll want.

well i just saw a 250gb one for $75 but it is external.

Don't buy an external, if you need one you can just buy a cheaper internal and make it an external.

Tried scandisk ? You might have a disk error. Disk errors eat up space on the drive and make it seem full when it's actually just faulty data taking up space.

i tried that like 3 times but still nothing.

i also tried that so that i could delete it from the d drive since i have a folder holding 9gb but when i try to erase it wont let me.

You did scan your C drive then, well, change your setting on the trash bin to instant delete, or click alt+Delete when erasing those files you don't want.
