Planes aren't flying; what happens Monday night?

Why would people want to see Smackdown stars on RAW? Is there even any reason for having different brands? Seriously it would be like putting all storylines on halt for a week and having 2 Smackdowns in one week. Makes no sense and is just stupid.

Lol at the TNA Mark being a bitch in this thread. I don't think that this is that big of a deal. Last year when WWE got shafted out of a place for RAW because of Basketball they were very calm and got everything under control. This is just a small thorn in Vince's side and he has it under control.

If anything this= ratings for RAW. people are gonna want to see where they go through with this. The show must go on, right? Besides, this also means no guest hosts if they tape the show somewhere else.

It's being said that the wrestlers from Smackdown will be on Raw tomorrow night and the wrestlers from Ray may be on Smackdown this Friday. With the WWE Draft taking place a week from tomorrow, the WWE could very well spin this situation into a plus for them.

The WWE can spin this as a means of just switching things up since the WWE Draft is meant to shake things up. Since any wrestler can be drafted to any show, it could easily be played up simply as having all the wrestlers switch brands for the week. The Raw crew being stuck is not a big deal. It would be, however, if the wrestlers from both shows were stranded in Europe.

I doubt the Raw Guys will be on Smackdown. I doubt they'll be out of Ireland in time.

I think this because flights are grounded untill one PM tommorow at the earliest. If they do infact start then, they may make it. Though the chaos of sorting out the stranded people may result in them not departing in time for them to get to wherever it is that Smackdown's being filmed on Tuesday to return the favor.

As much as you WWE-marks want to believe that this is no problem. Trust me it is. WWE are notorious for flailing when under pressure. How many times has WWE broadcasting suffered due to an error or ill-judgement by WWE management? Far too many times. I am going to be the first to say it... TNA's rise begins this monday.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha yeah right the TNA couldnt rise if they were 10,000 feet in the air, i think TNA rise was suppose to be like 4 months ago right?? i think thats right...oh but wait,,here they are, on the ground, no no no wwe will not fluster cause people will tune in to see what happens, and half the people either never heard of tna or dont care about tna....wwe has sooo much talent and unlike tna they know how to use it..you know vinnie mac has a back up plan, if anything smackdown runs on monday raw on friday like always or find a venue there...unlike tna wwe has the funds to do that...even if our ratings dropped from 3.6 to like a 3.0 tna would still get like 0.8 or if that in ratings,....face it...tna is in a race it cant win...tna is like a horse with a busted leg and wwe is the farmer with the shotgun...just wait til wwe pulls the trigger.... CROSS THE LINE......THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINE!!!!

First of all I'm sure iMPACT won't benefit by this accident at all.Last week their first hour wasn't head to head against RAW and they did their usual rating.

Then i think this could be a chance for WWE to do something innovative. For example they can air some PPV matches , or bring some legends to Raw for more excitement and ... .

Smackdown has a lot of guys who can do the show IMO.Edge , Jericho , Mysterio and ... .

For damn sure it won't be a great Raw or even a good one , but it's not WWE fault. These things happen for different people in different occasions , But i know it is IWC's trend to make big deals out of everything WWE or TNA does , Even if it is out of their control and intention.

Well I don't know what is going to happen but I live in the UK and thought I would let everyone know that the flight ban has been extended to 7PM Monday UK time. So it is basically they will NOT get back.

There are plenty of options.

Best case scenario, they find a way back to the states. Or they could do a number of things.

-Quickly find an arena to use, in which case they'd have to make plans for right now, if they haven't already. They would have to offer refunds and do a lot of rescheduling, but I'm sure they're capable of making something work.
-Do a SD! show in place of Raw, but still call it Raw
-And if EVERYTHING that can goes wrong actually goes wrong, they would have to either show a repeat, or schedule Raw to air on Tuesday or Wednesday while they figure something out in terms of venues.

what we have to think of is even IF the Raw guys make it, what is their performance gana be like! we all know their exghasted and worn down with all this. maybe having smackdown and NXT stars run it for one show wont be so bad. And some live segments from IRELAND wont be too bad for like Cena and of course the BEST MIC MAN THE MIZZ!!!!!

IMO... lol

Tonight might be one of those important odd nights in wrestling if the Raw guys aren't back. I normally watch half Raw/half Impact because Raw is just so predictable but this may solve that problem. And I really hope that if the Raw roster does get back they don't go on the show in a wrestling way as I hadn't thought about what albertg123 said.

Keep NXT off and just give us a different show using either undercard guys and Smackdown! leading the show. Give us some guys we haven't seen in a while if they're available and maybe they will prove they could help the show on a normal basis. Put Zack Ryder, Masters, even Goldust(SD guy) out there and let them show how they were in ECW. They wouldn't be the focus but they can at least show what they can do now and in the future.

You know, this could be an unexpected blessing from a storyline standpoint. In all likely hood, We're gonna see Smackdown twice this week. But what if they decide to do a storyline where Smackdown is trying to take over Raw while theyre stuck in the UK? I think this could be a brilliant move made out of the clusterfuck of over-seas travel right now. And it would be right up WWE's alley considering the company's history of bringing real-life altercations into the storyline a la Matt Hardy, Edge and Lita.

I know that the WWE draft is next week, so then again, this might not work out to well considering the roster is gonna be shaken up next week. But stranger things have happened. It could even possibly act as a segue into the end of the roster split. But I wont hold my breathe on that one.

i hope we dont see smackdown twice. What i hope happens is a little "Smackdown invades raw" episode. Its just smackdown on monday. But then on tuesday/friday, depending on how you look at it, have "Raw invades smackdown" and show what was going to happen on raw on friday. Nothing with the storyline would be messed with. the shows just switch places for a week.

Ladies and Gentlemen , I have just received words :

John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Bret Hart, Miz, Big Show Sheamus, Mark Henry, Ted DiBiase, Kofi Kingston ,Evan Bourne, MVP, Chris Masters, Chavo Guerrero and Hornswoggle , Eve Torres, Maryse and Kelly Kelly

These superstars are stuck in England and won't make it tonight. There are a few Raw superstars who were not featured in England tour and they can show up tonight : Triple H, Carlito and Yoshi Tatsu are the most important ones.

Also the flight ban has been extended to tuesday morning so we won't see Raw superstars tonight.

There are also concerns among WWE crew that they maybe won't be able to make it to the Extreme Rules.

I couldn't imagine they wouldn't make it to Extreme Rules. If by some chance they can't get out by then they'll probably find an arena in Europe and simulcast the matches on the PPV and give the live audience in both places a few extra matches. But like I said, I doubt they won't be back by then.

Just wanna say, I CALLED IT!
As it turns out, 99% of the Raw roster is still stuck in europe. So it looks like right now the Smackdown roster + HHH will be running Raw tonight. I just wanna reiterate my point from a couple hours ago, "Smackdown invades Raw." So there you have it. But will this be a part of a storyline tonight where Smackdown perhaps tries to "take over" Raw? I think they could make a really nice surprise storyline out of this whole situation like perhaps HHH and the few other Raw stars try to defend the Raw ring against an onslaught of Smackdown superstars trying to rush the ring and claim it as there own, so to speak. Sounds kind of cheesy, but we all know this is the exact type of thing Vince would love.

Well first and far most I hope that the Raw superstars can safley make it back home in a hurry but theirs a good thing about these and I'm going to tell you why. One we all know that Raw sucks ass and we all know that Smackdown is the best show that the WWE has to offer in many people's opinion so with that being said instead of having another horrible Raw show tonight with Hornswaggle and Santino cutting meaningless backstage promo's. Batista and Cena being the talk of the whole show, and 90% of the show cutting promo's period we can actually see some good wrestling and a decent show. However we will still see the crappy guest host this but still this is a big opportuntiy's not just for the Smackdown stars but Smackdown as a show period. With Smackdwon moving to SyFy in October this is a chance for the viewers who don't have MyTV to finally catch Smackdown and on top of that its live. If the Smackwon stars have a good showing tonight it will make viewer anxious for Smackdown to come to SyFy to finally see it again. For the first time in a long time I can actually say i can't wait for Raw tonight.

I'm kinda skeptical about Raw tonight, granted, it will be good, not to have Hornswoggle, and others wasting the true talents time.. But I'd go out on a limb & say Raw is going to be a big clusterfuck...

What i hope happens is a little "Smackdown invades raw" episode.

i pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one.

It should be pretty interesting tonight. The weirdest part is gonna be having HHH out of place with all the smackdown guys. he's gonna be continuing with the sheamus feud while the rest of the show is all smackdown. we could get to see a good match with HHH against someone he normally doesnt see such as McIntyre. Im very disappointed about not being able to see Bret Hart call Showmiz the greatest tag team ever though. :disappointed:

I think this has turned out quite well. The smackdown mid card can get time on Raw before the draft and it would be perfect for guys like McIntyre who the raw audience will not be familiar with. Also the NXT rookies could get time on raw which is not bad either.

I know it's weird but this SD invasion make want to watch more than i wanted in past few months.

The interesting part would be HHH facing SD stars. We also remember Jericho being mad about the fact that a Raw superstar will wrestle for WHC.I also think HHH will face Taker for getting revenge of HBK.

This time you can see why it is good to have to different brands with different wrestlers. It really helps some time.

Having Mcgruber there wasn't as bad as the usual hosts. Actually, that episode of raw gave me some interest in seeing that movie. The problem with having smackdown take over raw yesterday was that next week, it's going to be the same lame crap it's always been.
