We said we'd consider bringing in Micheal Vick. Although he may be a little rusty. We also might trade for Matt Cassel. I just hope he isn't a one year wonder. Derek Anderson could be an option if he loses the QB competition with Brady Quinn which he likely will. Byron Leftwich is available. As is Sage Rosenfels. All of which are better than Tarvaris Jackson. Who along with Gus Frerotte still got us a 10 win season and our first division crown in 9 years. Dam Eagles.
Meh, I am always a firm believer in you don't know what you have until you give them a shot, and I am not talking about a shot in Pre Season, for fuck sakes, Rutherford had a shot in Pre Season for Carolina several years ago. To be honest, Leftwich is mediocre, even though i believe he was fucked over in Jacksonville, because Garrard showed his true colors this year, but still there was a reason it took a season ending injury for someone to sign Leftwich. O yeah, that and Culpepper believing he had a shot to start in PGH.. rofl

You should keep up with the times. Curtis 10 Cent Painter had a horrendous showing at the combine and is a 6th or 7th rounder at best.

They might of saw something, but so far it isn't working out. If a QB isn't working out in fucking practice, how the hell is he going to transition to the game? At least the Cassel's and Romo's looked decent. T Jack and Gus Ferotte were called upon and playing horrendously and the name John David Booty was never even thought about or thrown out there. That obviously means he isn't ready and won't be for awhile.

If Booty was as good and deserved a shot as much as you make him out to, then why would you draft another young QB?

I'd have no problem with Booty but we still need to draft someone just in case. We have no blaring needs right now. Except QB so I say we take a chance on Nate Davis. Draft a WR and a young Center since Birk is getting up there. Other than that. I think Leftwich did pretty good last year in relief of Big Ben and while Culpepper may not be as good as Roethlisberger he still has alot to give. Remember he hurt his knee not his arm.
