Pick Your Pair Match

WWE.com has announced that a "pick your pair" option will be added to Cyber Sunday where fans will get to choose which of the following three tag matches will take place on the PPV: Cryme Tyme vs The Miz and John Morrison, Mickie James and Jamie Noble vs Layla and William Regal or CM Punk and Kofi Kingston vs Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase for the tag team championships.

I personally see people voting for the Punk/Kingston vs Priceless match for the title due to that fact it is for the titles. Whereas I am torn between that match only because I could actually see a good fued over the titles here and the fact it will build credibility for all involved or the Regal/Layla vs Noble/Mickie match as Regal is playing the British royalty gimmick which could see Burchill come to the fore front.

What would you pick and if any mods would like to add a poll that would be greatly appreciated as I have troubles with posting due to only having my phone as net access.

Well, this is basically 3 different feuds fighting to get on a PPV.

Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Tyme = Battle of the internet gimmick webcasts. Semi interesting, but could be gold in the ring.

Noble/Mickie vs Regal/Layla = I don't know how many people would vote for a mixed gender match. I see the talent 3/4 of the combatents though, but I don't see it happening on a PPV.

Punk/Kofi vs Priceless = A tag team title match, something that hasn't happened at a PPV nearly enough in recent memory. AND it is from a viable feud. Priceless helped screw Punk out of the title. Punk wants their titles as revenge. Somehow Kofi is involved.

At least 2 of these matches SHOULD be on the PPV. Miz and Morrison have PPV skills and have shown this in the past. Cryme Tyme need some spotlight. These tag teams in a gimmick match would be amazing.

The tag team championships SHOULD be defended on a PPV. That is basics.

The mixed tag match could happen on RAW, if that. I'm growing tired of this feud and wish they would move it to ECW, where both could bring up new talent. Not worth seeing on a PPV.

I'd actually wish they combined two of the options-

Miz and Morrison VS Punk and Kofi VS Cryme Tyme VS Priceless in a Fatal Four Way tag team match for the Tag Team Titles.

However, that won't happen now. Maybe at survivor series? Probably not, as most of these guys will be in a Survivor Series elimination match.

I can only hope.

This goes to show that the tag team/mid card division can't find a spot on the PPV. A tag team championship match is up against another tag team match without the titles and a mid card tag team match to further a feud. What does that show you about WWE's current tag team division?

I'd like to get the tag team championships defended on PPV for once. This is actually the chance for them to get on the PPV. I really wouldn't mind whichever one of these get voted on. Cryme Tyme and Miz/Morrison could put on a good match, and Noble/Mickie vs Regal/Layla would be good for a feud that doesn't really mean much to get continuation on a PPV.

But we'll get the title match, as I think the fans care more about the title than these other feuds, and as such they'll want to see the titles defended rather than watch other feuds being furthered. But I wouldn't count out Cryme Tyme vs Miz/Morrison, as Cryme Tyme are really over and the fans would probably also like to see them on a PPV.

It should be Punk and Kofi. Miz and Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme has been done already, Noble's feud is a tv feud at best, and that leaves one choice. Kofi and Punk are a semi random combination, but it follows the flow of the feud. The Punk fan in me would like to see it, ut I don't know whether or not I'ld like to see them win the titles. They're the epitome of two guys being put together in a team, while miles better as singles wrestlers. That being said, even if that is voted in, I don't see them getting the win here. It would even further hurt Priceless' tag team reputation, but a win over a former world champion and IC champion would help them greatly. It shoudl get the nod, but I could see Cryme Tyme getting in as well.

It's bound to be Punk/Kofi v Priceless. Who wouldn't want to see a possible title change? I doubt Priceless would actually lose but the possibility would be the draw there. If Regal/Layla v Noble/Mickie gets even 1% it will guarantee that the votes are faked because i don't think anyone wants to watch this poor attempt at a fued on a PPV, plus we've seen CT v M&M already so why would people pay to watch that again as well as paying to ask for it as a PPV match?

I'll eat my hat if any other choice is made but the Tag title match

I would say that M&M should face Cryme Tyme. Its true that it has been done before, but I don't think it has ever been done at a PPV. Besides, they have been having all of these conflicts on Raw lately, it wouldn't make sense to do all that building up for nothing. Punk and Kofi just seems like a filler tag team to me.

Miz & Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme is the way to go here. Team Noble vs. Team Regal is bound to be a TV quality match with some humorous spots, nothing more. Priceless vs. Punk and Kofi may be the most likely choice, but I've seen them fight before and it was boring.

Miz & Morrison always deliver. Cryme Tyme can also do that when they want to. So I think they're the best choice here.

Theyre the only tag team fued choice.
Priceless and Kofi/Punk are 'kinda' fueding...I guess. And Noble/Mickie vs Regal/Layla needs more time to build up (promos or somethin).
And besides, Noble/Mickie vs Regal/Layla would barely get a reaction from the audience, and Punk/Kofi have NOTHING in common other than they were brought up on ECW, so they dont seem like a credible tag team.

But M&M and Cryme Tyme have been fueding for weeks on the Internet, RAW and ECW. Also theyve had promos, mic time, tag matches, single matches, costing each other victories...
They really deserve time on PPV.

The fans will pick Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Time but the better match with definately by CM Punk and Kofi vs Priceless by far. CM Punk and Kofi haven't done shit in so long especially Kofi, giving them the tag team titles will will atleast get them on TV more often because I rather see Kofi then stupid Priceless cause I have never seen a team that gets praised so much be any more generic than them.

I predict that it's gonna be Kofi/Punk vs. Priceless. Punk is a former world champion and has alot of fans believe it or not. Kofi also seems to have a nice set of fans that will vote for him. Priceless is also a team that the IWC seem to drool over lately so "we" will probably vote for them as well.

I would like to see Regal/Leyla Vs. Noble/Mickie because I like all 4 involved but it shouldn't get a PPV spot.

Cryme Time Vs. MNM is actually my personal choice and the one I will vote for, but I don't see it winning. Cryme Time has it's fans but I don't think they have more than Punk & Kofi. MNM also have fans but I just don't see them helping the vote out much. In the end I'm pleased that the WWE want's to try and incorperate a low/midcard match on the PPV, but you think they could have just made a tag turmoil or something and also added the colons.

I picked the title match. Although it is doubtful that Punk/Kofi can pull off a win here, I would rather see Priceless in a match rather than the other two choices (although Morrison/Miz vs Crime Time is a close second on this choice).... Priceless get my vote because it is a championship match.

Rhodes and Dibiase are the best thing to happen to the tag division in a LONG time and I always enjoy Priceless' matches.

Priceless vs Punk and Kofi is a mixed feeling for me. On one hand, I love Priceless, and any opportunity for them to get on a PPV is good by me. I was really pleased with the way the tag match at Unforgiven worked out for them and Cryme Tyme. The difference here is their opponents. Punk and Kofi are both great wrestlers. Punk could have been a hell of a world champion but he was booked terribly. He will more than likely be world champ again. Kofi is a great young talent as well, who carried the IC title well in the unfortunately short time he had it. But as a team, they don't make any sense. Not even a little. The only tenuous, and this is really tenuous, link they have is that they both come from ECW. Considering they're not drawing on that at all, there's no reason they're together. Have they even cut a promo to establish themselves? I can't remember one. They just got slapped together after Unforgiven, and here we have it. I like them both, but I don't really want to see them as World Tag Team Champions. There's really not much team chemistry between them. Miz and Morrison or Cryme Tyme would make far better champs. I'd like to see the titles defended on PPV again so quickly after Unforgiven, however, and they will put on a solid match. I wouldn't mind seeing it, just not with Punk and Kofi winning the titles.

Miz and Morrison and Cryme Tyme can and will be brilliant. Two of the best tag teams around in an era where the division is so weak. Miz and Morrison are proven championship material, and Cryme Tyme could easily be so. I mean, having gold fits their character so well, they could tout it as bling and such. Unfortunate they're not a choose for the title match; I kind of wish this whole set up was the champs guaranteed defending against either Punk and Kofi, Miz and Morrison, or Cryme Tyme. Anyhow, this would be a fine match to see and I wouldn't be disappointed with either this or Punk and Kofi.

For the final choice, if it wasn't Layla, I think it would be good. Noble is pretty good, Regal is pretty good, Mickie is great, but Layla, hot as she might be, is crap. She should never, ever, ever be in a ring. She's doing fine as a valet. Let her do that. She makes a good one. Her promos are fairly decent, and she looks good. Keep her on someone's arm, it's a good place for her. If only it was Melina, this match could be worth a PPV. Unfortunately, it's not, and this should end up on Raw sooner or later.

I'm not voting, but if I was, I'd pick Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Tyme, because I'd rather see two established teams go at it, personally. There's something that doesn't feel entirely right to me about a slapshod team and the World Tag Team Champions fighting for the title.

Let me explain to you every choice and how it could possibly affect the ppv as a whole...

The Miz and John Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme: This feud has been going on for several weeks now and would really benefit the ppv. All 4 competitors nowadays don't get much ppv time anymore and they could put on a performance of a lifetime, BUT, I don't think it's the BEST choice.

Jamie Noble and Mickie James vs. William Regal and Layla: I'm not entirely interested in this feud, but I must say that LAYLA IS THE HOTTEST DIVA IN WWE HISTORY!!! With that out of the way, I can say that this feud will likely not have many people interested in it, let alone not get any ppv time. I find it more of an episode of RAW caliber matchup.

Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes vs. C.M. Punk and Kofi Kingston: This would be the most wonderful choice to get voted in at Cyber Sunday. The fact that Manu has joined ''Priceless'' gives them the benefit of the doubt that they no longer need the ''World Tag Team Championships'' to get over. A 3 man faction who destroys everyone in their path would be a better option for Rhodes, DiBiase, and Manu. Also Kingston and Punk need the tag team titles as both men lost their Intercontinental Championships and World Heavyweight Championship respectively, way too soon.

Before I gave my personal choice, but as far as votes go, I'm pretty sure it will be Punk and Kofi vs. Priceless. The reasons are pretty obvious, Punk is a former champion who is excptionally over with the crowd, and Kofi is a former intercontinental champ who is also a fan favorite.

Cryme Tyme are quite over as well, but I think the combination of Punk and Kofi can beat them. As I said earlier, M&M vs. CT would be the best choice story wise, but Punk and Kofi will probably pull it off. It woudl also be a great chance for Priceless to get a legitimate win over someone.

Yea, most likely will go with Punk & Kofi Vs Priceless, you have the most drawing ability between all of them. I certainley would not count out Cryme Tyme Vs M&M though, as both teams have pretty solid fan bases, and are fairly over. There is basically zero chance we see the trailer park twins vs the bluebloods. They have barely pushed that thing or generated enough heat between all of them in general for anyone to care about it.

Id say fan votes or WWE booking, either way we get Punk&Kofi Vs Priceless, one that Priceless most likely wins. No need to make a tag title switch here, especially to absurdly random ass team of Kingston and Punk.

John Morrison & The Miz against Cryme Tyme is likely going into this Pay per view with the most added heat. (not counting Noble v. Layla as a tag match) But in all honesty, it's not a p.p.v. quality match.

If the W.W.E. wants to add quality to their Tag Team Champions, namely the Raw brand, then it shouldn't even be a contest of which tag match.. it should be "how will the titles be defended". And then add Cage, No DQ, or 2 outta 3 falls as the options.

If stupidity wins out and Regal/Layla against Noble/James wins out.. this will just further my distain for this p.p.v. I love the concept, but the W.W.E. really tries to make fans look like morons by giving such horrible options.

I'm hoping (yes, I said it) that Punk & Kingston win. I honestly like them as a Tag Team, and Rhodes/DiBiase need more challengers. That would be perhaps the underlining Tag Team contest of the year for the W.W.E.

While Regal/Noble/Layla could have their soap opera-like storyline play out on a regular Raw.. and Cryme Tyme/Morrison/Miz could have their's end in a extreme match on E.C.W. to add ratings to that show.

This is the most intresting aspect of Cyber Sunday. If it was on the website I'd try my hardest to get Noble on the card, notice how The Miz started to get a better push when WWE thought he was popular?

I hope it isn't Cryme Tyme vs. The Miz & Morrison. CT suck and Morrison is the most overrated wrestler currently on the WWE roster. It's bound to be a pile of shit. At least the other two might offer a bit of quality.

I'm voting for Cryme Tyme vs Mizorrison, I really dig Cryme Tyme, I think they're a great, exciting team at times, when paired against another great team, while I personally can't stand the Miz, I think Morrison is golden, so i'll have to pick Mizorrison over Cryme Tyme.

Hard to really care on this one, because I don't see any major storyline changes or ended feuds as a result of whichever of these three gets picked and who ends up winning the picked match.

My guess is that it would be kofi/punk vs. priceless, simply because it's the only one with a potential title change, people love punk and would want to see him in action, and kofi is pretty popular too. Miz/Morrison vs. Cryme tyme just doesn't seem to be that exciting of a feud and is just going on right now because there's nothing else for either team to do. And the noble/james vs. regal/layla is hard to care about, and would be nothing more than filler on an episode of RAW, at best. It's unfortunate that james is stuck doing nothing but impromptu mixed or intergender tag matches, but her time in the sun seems to be gone for now and there's nothing else for her to do. But I digress.

So I fully expect to see a priceless vs. punk/kofi match here. Maybe if WWE creative feels like throwing us a bone and actually having a title change on this pay per view, this is probably the only one we're likely to see.

I'll vote for Cryme Tyme vs Miz N Morrison. They have a decent fued going on atm and I would rather watch them then the brits vs rednecks. Punk and Kofi vs Priceless wouldn't be bad either.

I'm really pulling for MNM vs Cryme Tyme. They are basically the only two teams involved in a feud right now, and really it has been a pretty good one. It's spanned from the internet with the two teams taking jabs at eachother, and spilled over onto Raw and ECW. For the first time in I don't know how long we actually have a really good tag team feud going on. By putting this match on the Cyber Sunday card, WWE could be looking to see if the fans actually care at all if a match between two teams actually happens. The bottom line is in tag matches, it's a split 1-1 series. There has to be antoehr match eventually, and I for one and hoping it's at Cyber Sunday, and MNM walks out victorious

I see this match as just a easy way to get CM Punk in a pay per view match. Lets face it, he is being booked terribly at the moment and is doing almost nothing. If Punk wasn't involved here, then this should have been the pre-show match instead of the Shelton Benjamin United States Championship match. Although I must say that at least tag teams are getting pay per view time, even though it has filler written all over it.

There is no way the Regal/Layla vs Noble/Mickie match is going to take place. The WWE didn't even bother hyping it up on Raw this past week which tells me that they don't want this match to happen either. It should happen on Raw the next night, not on pay per view. I will be extremely suprised if this match gets voted on instead of the other two.

The Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Time match has potential to be good, but we've already seen it on Raw about 3 times already. I mean seriously, how many times do these guys have to face each other over a feud that started on WWE.com? It will get a few votes, but it wont be the winning choice. If this match does somehow happen, I see Miz and Morrison winning.

Last but certainly not least, CM Punk and Kofi Kingston vs Priceless for the World Tag Team Championship. Who wouldn't vote for this match? It sounds good on paper and could be actually one of the more entertaininng and fast paced matches of the night. I don't want nor do I see a title change here, but putting the titles on the line is a nice little way to get Priceless more over by beating someone of a upper-mid card status such as CM Punk. The fans will vote this match as Punk and Kofi are way over. But Priceless wins in 7 minutes.
