Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
I agree with almost everything these guys talk about on their show, and I only watch because it's fun to laugh at the ignorant people. I've been watching it on Showtime OnDemand, and have seen about 5 episodes today.

Has anyone else here seen it? I'd like to know what some other people's ideas are on some of the shows, and what shows they'd like to see in the future.

This is the best show on TV.

You should find the one on global warming. The show convinced me that it was a myth. Plus, they go to a protest and get hundred of people to sign a petition banning a harmful chemical called dihydrogen monoxide. It is found in pesticides, run off from factories, etc.

Dihydrogen (H2) monoxide (o) is of course, water.

That was actually the first one I ever saw. The two I enjoyed the most were the one on the bible, and the one on bottled water. They actually just gave people water from a drinking hose all night, and got about 400 different responses on what it tasted like. The one on the bible was just funny, because it covers all I have ever said.

This is one of my favorite shows on television right now. For those of you who haven't seen it, it feature Vegas performers Penn and Teller who are out to various views on issues in society as "bullshit" while including a good amount of comedy.

In the US it's shown on Showtime with replays nearly every night. It's currently 3 epidsodes into the seventh season, whose topics have included orgasms, astrology, and video game violence.

The main reason why I think this is a great show is because of the ability of Penn and Teller to completely expose whatever they are arguing against as completely and undoubtably false by using concrete research and facts. I agree with their points in almost every episode and am amazed at the stupidity of the so called "experts" on certain topics. In addition to this, their comedic backgroud can keep you laughing during the entire show.

So, anyone else seen this show and do you tend to agree or disagree with it's arguments? I'd really like to discuss it.

I can't offer much because it's been years since I've seen it, but I do recall that I really enjoyed the show. For the most part I did agree with their assessments of the topics they lampooned, except for one. I believe it was the First Season and they did a "sketch" on, what I believe was evolution, but I can't remember for sure. Basically, they dismissed everything as "Bullshit" without actually having an argument to back up their claims. It seemed like they were just pushing their BELIEFS rather than FACTS or THEORIES. It kind of turned me off the show.

I had a thread on this, but it died, so I'll post here, to help keep discussion going.

I love this show. I learn something on every show, and generally agree with everything they argue. Penn and Teller are both very smart men, and go about debating the topic the right way. If no one has seen the one on video game violence, please do. Even if you disagree with the show as a whole, the last 5-10 seconds will tug at your heartstrings.

As far as old episodes, I have to admit my favorites are the ones on religion, PETA, and bottled water. All great watches...

I almost started crying at the end of the video game violence one, poor good. Just goes to show that it takes something bigger than video games to turn someone into a serial killer.

The fact that they always have 2 or 3 people who have done unbiased research on the topic helps as well. They give solid proof for their argument to counter the misconceptions and assumptions of lawyers and politicians fighting against their cause.

So I did some research and realized that it was the episode on Global Warming that I disagreed with, not Evolution. (They actually hold the same view as I did on that one.) I would really like to catch some of the newer episodes, they sound quite enlightening, if not hilarious.

I just watched the most recent episode on lie detectors a few days ago and I was legitimately pissed after watching it. I don't know how those things can be used for anything uself at all considering there is pretty much no proof that they work. The fact that a guy was fired and his life pretty much ruined because of one is just awful. Every polygraph on Earth should be destroyed immeadiately.

I have been a huge fan of penn and teller for years and bullshit is no different. I absolutely love this show. I almost always agree with them and even when I dont I get a kick out of listening to penn cuss at people. Unfortunately I dont have showtime so I dont get to see it as often as Id like but whenever I get a chance I watch and lmao

I was pretty surprised to find this thread, I love this show. I have watched everything on showtime and a lot on the internet. Your affections for the show reflect my own so I don't need to gush over it but this is one of my favorite shows on TV.

Everyone has favorite episodes, I'd prefer to just say seasons 6 and 7 pretty much encompass my favorite episodes. There is a new season starting June 10th so be looking out for that.
