Owens VS Lesnar

Getting Noticed By Management
I am just throwing this one out there how about Kevin vs. Brock for the United States Title at Wrestlemania next year. Kevin is probably going to beat John so John can move back into the World Title picture once again. John can try and tie Rick for the most World Titles before he retires. Kevin can hold the United States Title beating everyone in his path and becoming the number two heel in the company. Brock is slowly becoming a face and with his World Title run last year which was kind of a joke because he hardly ever defended his Title, I can't see the WWE doing that again. Why not let Kevin and Brock go at it, it would make an excellent feud. So what do you guys think could this help push Kevin for a future World Title.

Owens has only been on the main roster for 2 months and I'm already tired of hearing about this match. There's gotta be like 10 other threads on this already.

I get why people want to see it but as of right now I have very little interest. I want to see Owens have some other feuds not based on his family. I also need to see Owens DEMOLISH people before I could see him have a chance of beating Lesnar.

One thing is for certain. If the match does happen, it should NOT be for the US Championship.

I doubt Lesnar wants to carry the US. Title, if he's going to take a championship it will be the WWE Title.. There's no way Lesnar wouldn't win that match if it happened.. That match shouldn't happen now anyways, there's so many better opponents for both guys. Honestly, next year at WrestleMania i doubt Owens will be that relevant anyways.

It's just a fantasy match for some of you internet marks, but you know it won't happen anytime soon.

They really gotta lower the drink minimum on these forums. Love him or hate him, there's no denying Owens' raw wrestling talent. Dude can go, and will go for a long time.

Owens will be extremely relevant at Mania next year. He will inevitably lock horns with Lesnar, but 32 is too soon. KO is at the back of a very short line. Matches with Orton and Sheamus will come first. WWE has to still want to get The Rock in the ring, but it's not in his best interests professionally.

As far as the thread poster's idea of Lesnar and Owens clashing over the U.S. Title, I think it's a great idea. No one, and I mean no one, should be bigger than any of title in WWE. There are no weight class restrictions, there should be no shame in being the champion of the entire freaking United States. In fact, it should come with perks such as higher pay (kayfabe) that should be worked into storylines.

Great match OP, but it's not the right time. Personally I see a Reigns and Lesnar rematch, or Orton and Brock finally locking up. WWE will push Owens to the moon, but Brock Lesnar is another life form and won't meet Owens at Mania until 2017 at my earliest estimation.

I agree too soon for Owens. But when they do face off it should be a great match between the two. It would suck for Brock to sign the extension and him not having a match with Owens before he retires.

I completey agree with this statement. Who's knows if Owens would even still be holding the U.S. Title by then, not to mention the idea of Brock facing off for a mid-card title seems kind of preposterous.

Besides that though, Owens vs. Brock is a bonafied dream match IMO & I would absolutely love to see them face off! & with the kind of push Owens is getting right now & the fact that Brock recently resigned with WWE it actually seems somewhat possible now. But I wouldn't bank on it happening anytime soon, even by next year's Mania. Maybe Summerslam 2016 or Rumble 2017? That seems more likely, once Brock has faced a few more people.

Okay, Alright, the match between Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar would be absolutely ruthless, epic and absolutely legendary. But why should they face off against each other? Undoubtedly Brock doesn't need the United States title. Having John Cena as the US champion hasn't brought any prestige yet to that title. But the inevitability is, it would be prestigious at the end of Cena-Owens feud.

Then Owens should face someone not so threatening but an upcoming, aspiring, crowd loving star. That one should be his next opponent. I don't wanna put any names as I'm not fantasizing any. But it shouldn't be the Big Show, Mark Henry or the Kane. I corroborate that Kevin is the next big thing but that reason isn't feasible enough for him to feud with the Beast incarnate. Kevin should face someone he hasn't faced yet in the ring or at least in the WWE ring.

Cheers!!

Agreed. If one considers just the match, without worrying about titles, it should be a hell of an affair. Can you imagine those two huge bodies crashing into each other? If Roman Reigns made Brock bleed for real, I can just guess what Brock-KO would be like.

Still, I would agree that Brock would not care (contractually) to hold the US Title.....and at the same time, I can see the company not wanting Brock to take the world title into deep freeze again. Given his absence since WM31, there's certainly no indication he'll be around any more than he was before.

In fact, it must be very difficult for WWE to incorporate planning around Brock's contract. Terrific performer or not, the rest of the locker room must detest all the fawning management does over the guy. Vince McMahon probably tells anyone who complains: "When you bring in the kind of money Brock does, we'll bend over backward for you. Now, get out of my office, asshole!"

I'm thinking that a match between the two is more likely to be either SummerSlam next year or Mania 33. Owens just needs a little more time on the roster, and who knows. By then it could well be for the WWE title.

Face Brock Lesnar vs. Heel Kevin Owens? I would absolutely love to see that. I don't think Owens would be ready by WM31, but who knows because he has got A LOT done in the 2-3 months he's been on the main roster. Anyways, this would be a clash for the ages. One of the hardest hitting in brawls in the history of wrestling. Can you imagine Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman back-and-forth on the mic? That would be epic. Maybe I'm letting my hate for John Cena get in the way, but IF Cena wins that feud, there's no way this should happen, at least not kayfabe-wise.
