Outback Championship Wrestling Discussion Thread

After the break, KB is seen in the back, looking around for The Man In Black. As he looks around there is no one in sight. Finally he sees JD Michaels and asks him for information.

"Boss.....what are you talking about? You had Polley beat then you got up and just stared off into space. Then you started talking to yourself and tapped out like a bitch. You ran off and started going nuts. CM and Becker went out there to try to calm you down and you went off. They put you down to keep you from hurting yourself."

KB looks puzzled but still persists in asking where the man went.

"Boss, not to disrespect you or anything, but I'm telling you there was no man in black. There never was."

KB punches Michaels in the face, knocking him to the floor as he leaves to go find out what is going on.

I'm assuming this all still leads to the Sabre v. KB/Blade angle...But, I have no idea how...And, it only makes the upcoming match much more interesting...

The hints have nothing to do with what just happened. The hints are just for what the end is. What just happened isn't supposed to make any sense. This story is going to (hopefully) go on for the next 5-6 PPVs.

Which means it last 'til about 3 PPVs before I joined...OR...It's still going on, just longer than planned...

I'm an OCW mark...Officially...

Can I picture her as RBI? For some reason, I do...I didn't know if it was a poster that you gave that name or not, so I figured I'd ask...

As One and Only turns around, Norcal, the person standing behind him, grabs his head and absolutely slams it into the concrete wall. The cracking sound is absolutely sickening as One and Only lays in the floor out cold as medics finally appear. RBI tries to leave, but Norcal grabs her wrist and demands a microphone from her.

"Two weeks ago, I said that I was sick of people that weren't willing to go to war and fight for OCW. I've spent 14 days looking through this company to see who does this more than anyone, and there's one person that stands out to me. MONKEY, count the days you have left here, because you are officially in my crosshairs. This Sunday, you will be blown away. I am declaring war on OCW, and you will be the first casualty"

I'm going to assume this is the reason Monkey hasn't been around...I still think my guess as Monkey = Blade was a good guess for not knowing anything in the middle...

Completely random question...It seems that Murfish and Shango have been feuding since the beginning of OCW...Do they really not like each other, or is it entirely kayfabe?

I'm thinking about introducing a ratings system after each PPV. Thoughts? Like a top 5 in singles? Tag would be kind of pointless.

I'm thinking a power ranking system. Like this person is #5, this is #4 etc. I might do the whole roster.

I think you should start a ranking system...Maybe not the whole roster, but with the size now, a top 10 shouldn't be too hard. Or, do it for each title. Top 5 contender's for OCW Title, and top 5 for Taz Title.

You should do something about the tag division. Even if every tag match is a tornado match, and belts are lost by any loss...

Its a match that was done twice back in WCW, one of which you might not have been born for. Basically you take 10 matches and put them on a wheel (or in this case a bag) and pull one out. Whatever is pulled out is the match type.

Didn't Bischoff dust this off a few times in WWE? I forget what he called it, but it was the same basic thing...

The pair lock up with Rusty grabbing onto the left arm and wrenching on it, but Dan pulls an Owen Hart, eventually arm dragging Rusty to the mat and cinching in an armbar.

I miss this kind of wrestling...

I hate getting slammed for missing this kind of wrestling, like "How dare I miss wrestling on a wrestling show? How dare I enjoy technical wrestling..."

I just noticed that Tim and Dan had a pretty good feud going with Rusty, and all three ended up in the Aussie Army together :lmao:

Monkey is able to get back to his feet first and slams Norcal's face down into the counter. Picking up a metal napkin dispenser, Monkey is ready for the knockout shot, but a low blow ends his momentum. Then Norcal does the worst thing possible and sends the masked Monkey through a glass popcorn dispenser. Blood begins flowing from Monkey's head as he isn't moving an inch. Norcal stumbles away as this "match" is now over.

I've seen this match before...I know it was WCW, but I don't remember who was in it. I only remember, because who can forget someone going headfirst through a popcorn machine?

FYI - I'm only posting so much, because nothing is happening on the forums, so I'm read a lot of old school OCW...

Numbers, currently the longest reigning Champion, strolls to the ring with a look of cockiness on his face. He mounts the ropes and holds the title up high before spinning and jumping to the mat. However, he jumps right into a boot to the ribs and a Stunner! Vengeance into a fast cover, and in an OCW record 6 seconds, Vengeance is the new Taz Champion!

More motivation for wanting to take out Vengeance at FC II...

Wasn't it Maven and Taker at RR when Maven eliminated Taker.

Oh andBreak out didn't finish did it?

That was funny, Bischoff vs Austin and when Austin threw Bischoff is the pig crap and the Bronco Buster by Mae Young and Eric singing his theme song :lmao:

Yeah it was a classic. The Hell in the Cell disssapointed me tho. mainly because Nash didn't win and because the wrestling was , average.

The problem with that was very simple. They were trying to make us think that they were going to put the title on Kevin Nash, who literally in his first 5 seconds of action back from a torn bicep blew out his knee?

Yeah , i think it was his knee. Oh well i am actually glad they didn't put it on him now. Even Tho it would have made it look easy because Nash dominated every match out of the two and then Triple H wins. :wtf:

That's just the HHH reign of terror. Although to be fair, there wasn't really someone that they could have put the title on other than him at the time.

Yeah i know. Angle,Lesnar, Eddie, Benoit, Taker on smackdown the only Person they could have put it was on HBK because he had nothing to do but he had jsut had a feud with HHH and Kane was in the middle of somethign else.
