Mr. TM

Throwing a tantrum
This one is for you Xfear. The song that has been played on the radio more than Christina Aguilera, and I don't mean her music.... Zing! Originial would be better if it wasn't killed by DJs around the world, but if I haven't heard it after a while, I enjoy it. But the cover was shit, and Ryan Adams should be hanged for alting on Bryan Adams, and making a song that he just seemed to hard to make unique and soulful. So you decide, do you like the shit that Ryan Adams tried to pull off or do you like the beautiful song that we all have had action to (unless you are one of those creepy fellows.)

The Band that was bigger then Jesus and The Beatles apparently

Not Bryan Adams

Honestly this is the first time I have heard the Ryan Adams version of this song. I like it. It is a different take on it and it is a very good take on it. I will rank it on the same level as the original, this is an almost better version than the original, it suits being slower and even more stripped back than the original. This is not saying that the original is bad, something about Ryan Adams' voice suits the song.

I can't finish listening to the Ryan Adams version, that's horrible. That right there is the epitome of destroying a great song with a horrible cover. Seriously awful. I preferred the version Snow Patrol did at the V Festival. While not as good as the original, when you talke into account they had maybe 12 hours to practice the song with Oasis pulling out, it is something special. But Oasis will never be beaten when it comes to Wonderwall.

Ryan Adams destroying the Oasis version Becca?!

The Ryan Adams cover is damn good, and actually makes me able to listen to that song again. The original by Oasis, it's a classic. I just NEVER want to fucking hear it again, ever. It's been played so many times, I'd sooner listen to the Happy Birthday song than Wonderwall. Not even close to Oasis' best work in my opinion.

Of the two, I suppose I'll give the nod to Ryan Adams here. Simply because I can listen to his version without wanting to kill myself. The Oasis version is technically superior, but I prefer the Adams version just from one listen alone right now. I truly never want to hear the Oasis version again. Ever.

Ryan Adams is a DAMN fine musician though. Here's another great song from him, the guy is fucking INSANELY talented:

I never heard the Ryan Adams version until just now and I have to tell you... I thought it was beautiful. What a great voice that dude has. Like I said, it's beautiful, but you can still feel some pain and hurt behind it as well. I'm definitely going to look up some more of his stuff. Have any certain recommendations, X?

Anyway, like X... I've been sick of the Oasis version for years now too, so this new, wonderful version I just listened to by Ryan Adams wins by default. I did like the Oasis version when it was first released, but that shit got old really quick, especially back then when I was big on listening to the radio and watching music video channels.

I prefer the Oasis version, because background music has a lot to do with it and the Oasis one has a far better one in my opinion, it has a sense of both sadness and optimism. i think ryan adams is just trying to hard to make the song sound sad and its not working in my opinion

What Becca said, essentially.

That Ryan Adams cover is fucking horrible. The song is not better when it is slower and his voice destroys that song. I know it is not Oasis' finest piece of work but it wont be matched by anyone. Not least by someone who really cannot pull it off. I didn't finish listening to the Ryan Adams version and I am somewhat glad I didn't. It would have likely ruined that song for me. I like old style Oasis and that cover is an abomination.
