First up, let's treat you to the trailer for Season 3;

Ok, there we go. For those of you that have seen the show, are you with me in thinking that it's quite possibly one of the best shows you've seen before? It's storytelling & just, the way everything comes together every time is brilliant. In terms of it's characters, it's got some absolute gems. The way each episode builds characters, even deep into Season 2 is some great work. I'm rewatching through it now to just get myself ready for Season 3, which debuts in June on Netflix. Thankfully, they've cut Jason Biggs out of the new season, which is a sigh of relief for everyone. There was something about his character that just didn't stick with me well, ever.

In terms of picking out some of my favourite moments, there's a fair few. I'll fire some off now;

- Red. Her character, from the get go is genius. Kate Mulgrew just hits the nail on the head every single time with this one, she's absolutely faultless.

- The relationship between Alex & Piper. It's probably the best on screen relationship you'll see.

- The "Morello twist". Finding out that Morello isn't actually a lovey-dovey lady, but a total psycho intent on stalking out Chris, is a HUGE surprise in the 2nd season. It's a great bit of story telling too.

- The season endings. Both seasons build up to these brilliant endings. The first season, with Piper laying into Pennsatucky, then Vee getting her final comeuppance is the icing on the cake.

- Supporting characters. Big Boo, Nicholls, Morello, Taystee, Crazy Eyes & the rest. Every single one of them are played by brilliant actresses. Can't fault a single one of them.

- Miss Rosa. Towards the end of Season 2, a barely mentioned or cared for character become the main focus, due to her cancer getting worse. Following her through treatment, up to the moment she hits Vee with the truck at the end of Season 2, she plays the character to a tee.

So, there we have it. I love it. What do you think of it?

I absolutely love this show. Which is weird because I didn't think I would at first. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen. I like how they go back into the women's past and showed how they got there. Some of the stories are downright heartbreaking. The track runner (I forget her name) but that was a bummer because she had so much going for her. Also Morello and Yoga Jane or whatever her name is, their stories were tough to hear. Such a great cast and great blend of characters. I agree, I'm so glad Jason Biggs' character is gone. And yes Red is the best, I would not cross her
