Ok so Neville is not on steroids?

braveh

Pre-Show Stalwart
Do you really think so?

I know the deal. A former indy guy can smack a bystander, inject steroids, punch a woman.......it's ok with the average WZ-poster because............the dude is a former indy guy and there are different standards........?

but I mean, I'm not sure Meltzer and Alvarez are any better. They will talk shit about Ryback....but indy guys? Well I hear nothing.

Presumably the fact that Neville looks like he was carved from granite, so people automatically assuming he's on steroids and that he's getting a free pass from it from internet folks cause he's an indy guy

So what? Honestly, who gives a shit about steroids? It's pro-wrestling, not baseball. If these guys want to juice themselves up in order to look good, go ahead... it's not like they're cheating. Yeah it's "against the rules" but a lot more guys than Neville are on the juice. John Cena for one. Not even Vince cares, why should we?

Is that a real poncho? I mean, is that a Mexican poncho or is that like a Sears poncho? Hmmm, no fooling?

This thread needed some Zappa. Neville is probably on the juice (like basically everyone else in the E) but who cares?

I dont believe anybody in the WWE is on steroids

I don't know about THAT, but the number is radically reduced from even ten years ago. There's really no evidence any of these guys are on roids, no one is grotesquely, vein-poppingly ripped like Luger or Bulldog on the stuff in the mid 90s. Neville isn't even that ripped by pro wrestling standards. He's sculpted and really fit but muscle-mass wise he's not up there.

Maybe if you turned off your TV, kept your beer bottle aside, got up from your couch and worked out a bit, you would realise that one can get muscles even without steroids. Neville got his muscular physique from years and years of training, diet, discipline and dedication... but of course, accusing him of taking steroids while sipping some beer and relaxing on the couch, seems like a much more comfortable alternative.

I've no choice to care because he's a) Britain's best chance of our first WWE Champion, b) from NXT, and c) actually a fantastic wrestler. It's just a shame he's so often d) dressed like a magician.

I'm not entirely certain that braveh was trying to slam Neville as much as he was on about the smark fans shitting on Ryback and the like for being supposed steroid junkies while seemingly giving Neville a pass due to his indy cred. He was woefully inarticulate in doing so, but I think that's the point he was trying to get across.

I'm sure there are lots of guys in the company who have used steroids in the past but I highly doubt there are many who could get away with doing them now. I just don't give a shit. They're not gaining any sort of competitive advantage, it's not real. I don't care if actors use steroids either.

Yeah, but who needs steroids when you can get your hands on some Ibuprofen & a super powered Z-Pack? The WWE Dr. Feelgood combo right there.

His arse looks like it could crack chestnuts.
