So, this dude that sells Wrestling DVD's just said he'd love me to design his box art for him and told me that he loved my designs!

So now I design his box art, and whichever set I design some box art for, he'll repay me by giving me that set absolutely free of charge!

Not only am I quite happy with that solid deal, but it's something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I'm fucking bouncing off the walls with excitement over here.

I'm quite proud of myself.

That is quite a shitty deal. You should not only get a free dvd of everything, you should also make a percentage off whatever DVD's he sells.

What the others said. Speaking as someone who does this frequently, get a percentage or a proper pay for the use of the images because you're getting nicked from it. The only benefit from it is that you get credited for the art, but I doubt that will happen either here.

It does sound like I'm getting fucked over abit now that you've mentioned it, but in theory, I'm not.

I have a fulltime job anyway that pays £70 a week, so this box art secondary job is basically just my way of getting free DVDs to add to my collection. It's also something I enjoy doing too.

If you don't mind doing it for free then whatever. At least ask him to credit you for your work, maybe it'll lead to people wanting to pay you for it.

Even if you enjoy it, that does not give him an excuse to fuck you over, which is exactley what he is doing. You may not need the money right now, but you deserve it if you are doing the cover art, and you should never let somebody take advantage of you.
