Bullshit budget cuts, my man. The administration want to take out academic exemptions, raise tuition fees (lol if I say how much it's at right now, there will be a collective gasp), and bullshit calls from administration in general. What they won't do is place administrators on a professor's fee, seeing as how if you do that, plus take away their assistants and reclaim some payments medical companies haven't done (over 11 million dollars) they cover the cuts needed and more.

Right now, the campus I attend had a negotiation committee with the Dean, and there wasn't any agreements to what my campus specifically wants (a new boat for Marine Biology students, a B.A. program for the communications and humanities department) so we declared a strike.

As of yesterday, 9 out of 11 campuses are striking, and come tuesday, people are expecting 2 more to join the strike.

Haha yeah I've actually had it on my HD for a few days now, downloaded a very nice rip of it the day it was released, I've already got it converted to ISO and ready to burn to DVD, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I DEFINITELY plan on watching it soon though because yeah I'm a huge fan of both guys. Did you see their little mini-reunion in PWG a few months back against the Young Bucks?

God I fucking love those two guys. They have all of the talent in the world to be mega-stars in anything they do, and I firmly believe that. Glad to hear you liked it though, definitely looking forward to watching it. I'll have to burn it tonight. If I like it than I'll likely buy a copy from Highspots.

I have it on my DVR though. The show has kind of...I don't know...lost a bit of it's luster the past few weeks I think.

I didn't. I was more kind of just angry at what a bullshit way they killed them and all those other people off in that episode. Sayid, Sun, Jin, fuck even Lapidus deserved better than that. Way too rushed IMO, and not nearly as emotional or poignant as the other 5-6 times we've thought Jin had died. I didn't like how they killed them off like that, really didn't.

I agree Sayid deserved better after his face turn, but I actually cried while Jin and Sun were drowning so I'm guessing it somehow worked on me. And Lolz at Lapidus getting killed by a flying door, that made my tears dry up as soon as I realized he died like that.

That whole sinking sub thing was lame honestly IMO. Those characters deserved far better.

And I loved Lapidus. And that's all he got? Lame. Sayid especially deserved better after everything he'd been through.
