[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

Very nice Thriller, thanks for letting me know your thoughts on it. I think I may just pick this one up.

Watched the director's cut of Halloween II tonight, really fucking loved some of what Rob added and really fucking hated a couple of things he did, but overall it really helped expand and put a close to the entire story-arch of the Myers family in Rob's universe.

Fuck the haters. Have I mentioned that I'm made out of plastic?

X, you watch Inglorious Basterds or Boondock Sains II at all? I got both on Blu Ray today to prevent my fiancee's oldest daughter from having the rights of watching the first Blu Ray movie on my PS3. The movie? Fucking Twilight: New Moon.

Seen 'em both, go with Inglourious Basterds, much better. Boondock Saints II was about as shitty as the original was, actually it was probably worse. Basterds was fun though.

I enjoyed the original Boondock Saints, though I'm not a refined movie critic of any sorts so my opinion is nilch.

I'm looking forward to Inglorious Basterds though, I may watch it tomorrow afternoon.

I mean, Boondock Saints II is kind of a fun movie to watch, but if you actually look at the film it's a steaming pile of shit with just as much awful dialogue and writing as the original had. It's also pretty funny how one of the characters is supposed to be Mexican despite being played by a CLEARLY MAJORLY WHITE dude. Funny shit. Fun in a cheesy way.

Groooooooooovy shit dude. Can't imagine any $20 seats on opening day are going to be good though.

I think in a way the two movies are supposed to be self parodies. The first one had a rail thin plot and just a lot of execution scenes, while trying to masquerade as a deep thinking movie.

I dunno, I don't look that deep into movies anymore. I have that unfortunate ability to turn any movie on no matter the subject matter, plot, characters, etc. and get myself stuck watching it. This is why I refuse to even begin watching certain movies, like Twilight for instance.

Watch the documentary Overnight, it's all about the filmmaker of the Boondock Saints, Troy Duffy, and how he's one of the most egotistical, racist, sexist, pompous douchebags on the planet. Once you've seen how stupid this is, I highly doubt he would be smart enough to write a self-parody/satire.

I'll have to check it out then. I'm not a big Boondock Saints cult follower like some people are. Hell I was about a split second from swapping it for The Boondocks season 2 DVD collection. I realized however I already had it downloaded on iTunes.

Anyone in here heard of KiD CuDi?

Didn't think so.

Oh your wit is razor sharp young Mantaur. You know good and well of my love for one Mr. Cudi.

have a possibility of seeing Pauly Shore at stand-up should I?

Must you even ask? Of course. It's freakin' Pauly Shore. It'll probably be so bad that it will become good.

WRESTLEMANIA IS TONIGHT BITCHES! Shit I'm amped up, haven't been this excited for a Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 17. Can't wait man, can't wait.

You make me smile, X. You laying shit down with that Ham guy in the thread about streaming vs. buying was the yum. The notion that a student (hypothetical or me) who needs money for summer tuition and books and who can find the show on crisp, clear widescreen DVD for a low price in a month is going to shill out a cool $50 for a low quality standard 4:3 broadcast that my TV is going to stretch is laughable.

Is it okay if I describe $50 as "cool" in your thread? Or is that not hip?

Just remember what I said about how Edge/Jericho is going to be the most disappointing match.

It's perfectly cool in my book Sir Coco. I mean, sure, I'd buy the PPV if I had my DVD recorder set up to an HD 16:9 television, but I'm not going to pay 50 bucks to watch something once on TV live and not own it, atleast in the old days I could pop a blank tape in and just tape the PPV but now it's pointless recording the show unless it's in the highest quality, like the DVD will be.

No, I'll just stick to my HQ streams for tonight and than download an HD-Rip of the show tomorrow to put on DVD. Because I'm a ruthless motherfucking criminal, you dig?

I miss the days when my most important expense was wrestling shows. I also miss being able to watch my video tape collection.

Also, don't lend that DVD out to anyone. You're in enough trouble as it is.

Us New Englanders should all go to a sox game.

Also, I was misinformed about opening day I can get tickets for a few dates though...
