[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

X, I just watched the Director's Cut of Halloween II, and I'm not sure if I really cared for it.

Let me know when you watch it and then let me know if the Unrated or Theatrical cut is better. I haven't seen the theatrical cut yet, and from what I hear, it's a lot different than the Director's Cut. I actually preferred the Theatrical Cut over the Unrated for the first one and bought that on DVD. I have a feeling that's going to be the case for the second one.

I've got it right next to me my man, I'm going to watch it in a few hours. I really, really enjoyed the film when I saw it in theaters. If you dig the good old slashers of the 80s, I'd think you would dig it. I wrote up a full review on the theatrical cut here:

I'll post in the thread about the film in the movies section with my take on the directer's cut after I watch it. I gave the film 3/5 stars, which is pretty good all things considered. Some of the things Zombie tried didn't work, but some of them worked very well and in my opinion it's the best Halloween film since Part 4.

I don't know if it will be the same now that it's not illegal for me.

You watching our shared guilty pleasure right now?

I am. I'm about 10 minutes behind. They're doing the Rolling Stones song.

I know, I was teasing.

Nothing really. Just waiting for Replys in my JJ Dillon thread, so I can make a few arguements regaurding the fact that without JJ Dillon the Horseman would have fallen in the early stages.

Umm...double what?

Flair was the Horsemen.

Umm... what?

JJ Dillon brought stability to the group, these 4 guys were a bunch of ego filled, crap talkers. According to JJ Dillon and JR, on "Legends of Wrestling: Managers" There were many times in which Dillon lead the way for cooler heads, allowing the Horseman to get along, and bring stability/maturity to the group.

:lmao:

Look at Milky, he watches WWE 24/7 one day and thinks he's an old school scholar :lmao:

I'm going to have to disagree there Milk. The Horsemen would've gotten over regardless of JJ Dillon, that group was always and will always be about Ric Flair, everyone else (including JJ) was just the supporting cast.

Do not. :( I was simply creating discussion. I didn't say it was true, its just an adverse opinion! Bastard skewing my words.

They would have gotten over, sure...But would they have stayed together! Dillon was the glue that kept all their egos held together!
