[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

Have you seen Wrong Turn 3 yet, X? My friend just bought it, and I'm contemplating whether or not it's worth my time to check it out. I loved the first Wrong Turn, and #2 wasn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting it to be, but this third one just gives me some serious doubts, especially after reading the reviews on Bloody Disgusting and what not.

I saw the first one and was mildly surprised.

About number three, I would be wary of any movie that advertises itself to be too gruesome for theaters.

Nope, haven't seen it yet, but I'll get around to it. The first film was enjoyable, but really I thought most of the film was shit. Probably because no matter how hot Eliza is, she is just atrocious as an actress. There were some nice kills and everything but I never really dug the first film. The second film on the other hand, I loved much more, probably because I'm such a big mark for Henry Rollins. The gore was good, and the film didn't try to be anything other than what it knew it was: a direct-to-DVD slasher film. It delivered on the kills and left me far more satisfied than the first film. So I've got my eyes on the third one. B-D reviewed it already? Odd, I'll must have missed that, I'll have to go look for it.

Gimme a good old school horror film to watch JMT. Not something super obvious. Something from the 70s-80s.

Random sidenotes: the filthy, FILTHY fucking things I would have done to Dawn Marie and Francine in the 90s. Oh, the things. Yeah, I'm watching the end of November to Remember 1999. Very good event.

What you said about Eliza makes me want to ask you who are some of your favorite "Scream Queens"?

Can't go wrong with Maniac or The Prowler. Two of my favorites from that era.

The list begins and ends with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I love you JMT. Two of my favorites, The Prowler is an underrated slasher GEM, a fucking gem. Savini's best work ever. Maniac is just sick in a whole different way, but equally brilliant.

I own both, so I could watch either. Think I'll go with The Prowler. It's either that or an old episode of Raw from 1998.

What's crackin X? Been a minute since we spoke last.

What is good Ty? Not much on my end man. What you been up to lately? Besides getting into fistfights with cops that is.

Not a whole lot, just been chilling, got that court shit taken care of, no more heat on me over that bullshit. Currently listening to the Houston Mic Pass. I love the fucking beat to this song.

If any of you see it, let me know. I checked out the second on SyFy the other night after ECW and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Henry Rollins is the man... and the scenes where he went postal in it were awesome to say the least.

Yeah, I'm bumping my own thread. I know, tasteless. But it's Friday afternoon, the weekend is in front of me, I've got some fine KB on the way, and that song just had me relaxing. Damn Mobb was the shit in the 90s.

Which one? The German film from the 20s, or the Vincent Price one from the 60s?

I've seen them both either way.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (I think that's his name) is coming to the UofA to give a speech. It's going to be quite awesome. In fact, I need to tell FTS so that he may just drive up here to see him. :lmao:

DAMN IT XFEAR, you locked the "If the Legacy of Destruction broke up" thread. I could have had some much fun with KANE-A-KNIGHT. Oh well. I have to be going anyways.

Try not to get too rowdy while I'm gone now, ya hear? Get the fort manned while I'm gone.

I'll do what I can, but I'm off to the movies with the girlfriend. Ciao and all that good stuff.

Oh, and I've decided to boycott politics for awhile.
