Demon. So you were like a gothic character or something?
It's a long story... I started when I was 15 years old back in the 1990's when gimmicks were still rolling. I began as a babyface named "Speed Demon." I was a high-energy, "Rockers" type of character. My moves were based around speed and agility since I was so short and scrawny.
However, over time, as wrestling fans changed the ways they were dictated to in terms of who they should cheer and boo, they began to turn on me. So, me and my promoters decided to turn me heel, and it was a nice shocker. I attacked the #1 babyface in the promotion after being on the losing end of a face vs. face title match. Instead of shaking his hand, I kicked him in the balls (this is WAY before Jericho/Michael Wrestlemania) and proceeded to give him a nasty beating. Some little kid threw his drink at me as I was walking out from the ring area LOL.
In my next promo, I announced that I was changing my name from "Speed Demon" to just "The Demon."
I think it was a really cool storyline and we got great reactions out of it.
BTW. if schedules ever would permit, I would be enternally gratefull if you could teach me some stuff man.
Definitely. But it's hard to do it all without an actual ring. You just can't begin to realize how much bumping is involved in every single move that you do in the ring.
