Four random questions for you, X:
What's your favorite Blink 182 song(s)?
Thoughts on Drew Bledsoe?
Have you ever seen the movie La Haine?
Is Milky really just like you?
2000th post
Have you ever seen Sin Nombre?
Yep, great, great, GREAT movie. One of the best of the year, the only film I've enjoyed more this year is District 9.
Xfear, I have a guestion for you. What is your favorite R&B song ever?
I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. Do you recommend any other movies from that director?
Well Sin Nombre was his full length feature debut, so there isn't really anything else by him for you to see. One film I will recommend to you though is City of God, which is not only as good as Sin Nombre, but in my opinion is even better. One of the greatest films ever in my opinion. Sin Nombre is very similar.

See it immediately my good man, you'll thank me later. Shouldn't be too hard to find online or in a store, it's a pretty famous film.
X, tell me who you think the next

Ohhh, that's a tough one man. Blink 182 were my favorite band as a kid, and I still love them to this day. I'll try to limit it to as few as possible...it'd be a toss-up between Carousel, Josie, Pathetic, Untitled, I Miss You, and Going Away to College. So many choices though. Dude Ranch will always be one of my favorite albums.
One of my biggest childhood heroes. Before Brady ever came along, Bledsoe was God to me and everyone else around these parts, no matter how much he struggled. I even got to meet him at a training camp practice once, had him sign my ball and everything (I still have that ball, has Terry Glenn's autograph on it as well), he was super cool. Honestly, I know I'll get called a homer for saying this, but I think Bledsoe deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He always put up consistently good numbers every year. Yeah, he was inaccurate and would make quite a few mistakes, but he was one of the elite QBs in the league for a while there. Not to mention that people forget he also helped us win that first Super Bowl when Brady got injured in the AFC championship game against Pittsburgh and Bledsoe came in to lead us to the victory. That was like his farewell to NE, and god damn if it still doesn't make me tear up (I still have all the playoff games from that year on tape).
Bledsoe is a legend as far as I'm concerned.
No, but after reading you rave about it in the Movie Log thread and hearing TDigs recommend it, I'm going to have to. Hopefully I can find a good torrent. French films do tend to be mind-blowingly good.
Ever seen Man Bites Dog?
Not at all. Not unless he starts smoking pot, listening to punk rock, stops believing in God, and starts liking ECW. I was piss drunk when I said that to Milky on MSN, and I really have no idea what we were talking about, nor do I remember ever saying that. Milky is getting better and better on here every day though.
What are you up to tonight JMT?
I'm dying in anticipation for October 6th when Trick R' Treat comes out, everyone I've talked to says it's one of the best Halloween themed horror films ever made, and one of the best pretty much ever.
That and I think I'll check out Zombieland when that comes out as well.

Blink 182 was the first real rock band I ever got into during my teens (when Enema of the State was released). Before then all I liked was rap, so they'll always have a special place in my heart for that. Can't wait for their new album.
That's an awesome story of you meeting him. You feel about him the way I feel about Aaron Brooks (the former Saints quarterback), except for the Hall of Fame part. But reading what you said, while Bledsoe is definitely not a first ballad HOF, I think he would be deserving of a spot some years after he was eligible. I never thought about it, but you make a hell of a case.
I hope you do, man. It's incredible, and really enlightens you about the ghettos of France. Also, Vincent Cassel, who's amazing in everything he does, was mind-blowing in it. Here's one scene from the very beginning of the film of him doing his Travis Bickle:

Unfortunately, no. I've heard of it though and have wanted to see it for quite sometime. Maybe I'll sought out a bit harder for the DVD now that you recommend it.
That was the answer I was looking for.
Not much, just hanging on here, listening to Joe Rogen on the radio. I might watch a movie in a bit, or go ahead and hit the hay. Not sure.
Has a horror film ever have this much hype, even before it was released? I can't remember the last time, but man oh man does Trick R' Treat have people going ape shit. I don't even follow the horror scene closely, and even I know the praise this film has been getting. It is unbelievable, especially in today's American horror scene, where it's pretty much impossible to please the majority of fans of the genre. It'll be interesting to see if the film lives up to the hype, and maintains its praise.
And hey, did you see the new trailer for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake that was released yesterday? If so, thoughts?
Haha, awesome man, I'll look for a copy online right now. I've been watching quite a few movies involving the French ghettos lately coincidentally.
Awesome. Have you seen the video of Rogen confronting Carlos Mencia about all of the jokes he's stolen in the middle of one of his gigs? I laugh my ass off everytime I see that.
Fan of the Nightmare films JMT?
Sweet, man. I hope you're able to find it.
Yes I have. It's so humiliating for Mencia. And what's so cool about Rogen is that he could have easily beat Mencia's ass when he was sitting there calling Rogen a "bitch" and what not, but Rogen didn't feel threatened at all. He just wanted to expose him for the phony he is, and he did it. You watch that video and he fully convinced those fans that Mencia was a hack, because at first they were booing Rogen, but by the end of it.... they were on his side.
Not a die-hard, but I've seen every single one of them nonetheless. The first 3 NOES were definitely my favorites out of the series. I always preferred Friday the 13 and the Halloween films to it though.
