All kinds Brian. I like to consider myself well-read, so everything from Shakespeare to the beatniks. I'm a big poetry fan, obviously I'm a big horror/sci-fi fan (Ray Bradbury, Phillip K. Dick, etc). The number one "genre" of books I've identified with though in my life are those from the Lost Generation and those from the Beat Generation. So Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Pound, Kerouac, Ginsberg, etc.
I dunno Brian, hard question. My two favorite writers are Jack Kerouac and Bret Easton Ellis if that helps any, with Hemingway coming in a close third.
