For the Sox? Thursday. First two games are in LA. We usually always take care of the Angels though, so I've got faith. Can't fucking wait man, especially after how damn disappointed I was at the end of last season. Sooooooo many fucking missed opportunities against the Rays in last year's ALCS. You're disappointed?! I dropped 400 bucks at the sports book at New York New York Hotel and Casino on the last game of that series!!!! But, from what I've experienced in my lifetime, Wild Card spots are the Nations best friend.

I'm not going to like X. I like the Sox, a lot, but I liked them more with Manny, and I got caught up in Rays fever last year. I am looking for a Sox/Dodgers World Series this year. That would be so fucking perfect.

I've only just started to pay attention to hockey again for the first time in years, but they're doing well so far, they're 1-1-0, Ovechkin was able to beat 'em in the first game in the season but we trampled over Carolina 7-2 in one of the best games I've ever seen (granted, I haven't exactly seen hundreds of hockey games). Tons of bloody fights (which the Bruins all won), and 7 different guys on the Bruins all scored a goal. Very entertaining game, especially since it was against Carolina who knocked us out of the playoffs last year in a Game 7 OT heartbreaker.

I'm actually kind of getting into hockey now that I think about it.

Sox are better off without him. He was a bad guy in the clubhouse (who the fuck gets into a fist fight with Kevin Youkilis over a thrown helmet, one of the nicest and harding working guys in the game?) and to be perfectly honest I'm loving Jason Bay in Boston. He had a great year again this year, and I hope they resign him (it's either him or Holliday). I'll take a great ballplayer and a great person in Jason Bay over only one of those two things in Manny. That, and Manny is getting old as fuck. Anyone who gives him a huge contract is going to regret it so very, very badly.

I keep waiting for him to excite me and it seems like I will be waiting for a long time. I do hope, however, that his Iron Man Match is all that it could be. I don't disagree at all. Trust me, as an Astros fan, I got to see Jason Bay 18 times a year for the last four years, and I was not sad to see him go.

I will always be a Manny fan though. There is absolutely nothing, short of anally raping me with a pine cone, he could do to make me not love him.
