Dude, my whole weekend was like this, IE fucking insanity. That is just a small peice of it.

We wanted to watch the fight, so I ask these locals if there was a bar in town that showed the UFC fight, and they told me this place called Panini's.

So I ask my friend about it after the HOF ceremony gets over like, were do you wanna go to watch the fight and he says "WHAT? Fuckin Paninis!!" like we had been going to the place for years, as if I was some idiot to even remotely SUGGEST we dont go.

So we go, get in the door, and its just some steps, going down, like in a building....we get down there, straight up fucking CLUB. Not a bar, a club. With an entire wall that was showing the fight. Bitches everywere. TERRIBLE dancers, my fuck, if you want to see girls break it down, do NOT go to Ohio.

So im like well shit, im like, one of 5 white guys here, there is a shit fuck ton of ghetto white chicks and old broads in here, but fuck, I have no idea were else to watch the fights, and its midnight by now, so fuck it, lets gut it out.

Within the FIRST SONG I get grabbed up by these chicks with Tatts and peircings, and nasty dance with them for two or three songs.....then a drunk girl with huge fake tits throw her hands up and HITS ME IN THE FACE, and im all "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT" and she started crying :lmao: I was like no no no its ok, its fine, im not mad and she says "I was so scared, im so sorry"...and then hugs me.

I just want to watch the fucking fights, man.

then old chick comes up to me, and gets right in my ear and says "Your tattoos and your body are amazing"

so she is dancing with some other dude, but right next to me...does the little put your hands up thing, but grabs my wee wee on the way up, momentarily. Oldie means buisness.

Sounds like a killer weekend with the HOF and shit man, lucky bastard, I was stuck working all weekend.

So I'm contemplating going to see the English Beat again in Providence in a week, seen them twice already and both shows were amazing. But then I'm also considering saving my money and going to see Saves the Day with Motion City Soundtrack and Say Anything, but I think I might lose my punk certificate of hardcore authenticity among some of my friends. Fuck em, I loved Saves the Day's early shit.

I wrote a very long, angry response to Sly's post in that thread, decided I didn't feel like getting into a shit-throwing contest and deleted it.


Cannot stop listening to the song "Jessie & My Whetstone" by Saves the Day. Incredibly melodic and catchy acoustic song. I wish I could write a melody like that.

 
Some of Sly's replies in that thread worry me. I didn't realize someone could have that much blind hatred for something. But then I read FTS's thread in the Cage...

Pretty much. I've given up with Sly. I've argued with him so many times about so many things for so long, I'm just done. He'll never budge on things like indy wrestling and I'll never convince him to think it's anything other than drivel in his eyes. Which is why I ended up not posting in that thread, because I just don't have the energy to get into another gigantic argument that won't accomplish anything.

But yeah, his post in that thread particularly pissed me off with how condescending it came off. Love ya Sly, but you're a raging dick when it comes to professional wrestling.

Shoegaze rocks my motherfucking socks, probably in my top five subgenres of music. Nah I've been in more of a punk mood for the last few weeks, been listening to alot of albums from the 90s I ignored when I was younger because I thought being punk was about having elitist music taste and shitting on anything after the 80s. Glad I grew out of that bullshit.

It's all good mate. I was just surprised you wouldn't have gone on and actually went at me for even suggesting what some obviously would think is ridiculous.

Josefine (I believe that was her user name) even went as far as to say it seemed like a troll post.

Also about the whole Sly thing, I sure can see how you two got nominated (I think won even) feud of the year in 2009 then.

Yeah, I been listening to The Smiths for about 2 weeks. And, by the way, I'm liking Drive Blind now. Makes me want to watch Layer Cake and write a heist movie for some reason.
