[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

Lol I don't think so man, though I have been watching alot of movies lately I've been meaning to get around to.

:lmao: X. I just told a friend of mine that GNR ain't the same anymore. Fuckin' making me want to spend 69$ on a douchebag.

How's it hanging, X? I always wonder if you ever get a holiday tomorrow since it's Emancipation day? Wait, that's only over here :lmao:

:lmao:

Oh god...that guy is serving up softballs.

I'm contemplating just completely ripping into a few of the jackasses in the Reviews of Destination X thread. You know the ones who don't actually watch the shows, just read the results on the internet and then just shit on the whole show? Morons. Some dude actually called it the worst PPV of all time. Exaggerate much? Not sure how a PPV with four good to great matches on the card is now the worst PPV ever.

I'm downloading the show right now so I might review it later. There is no way in hell it was that bad though. Just by looking at the card it had to have been decent at least.

Wait until I've done my review before you rip on the guys that review without watching.

I await your review with baited breath. Literally, I'm holding it, so hurry up please. Throw the shoes out the window and start watching.

You'll dig it Thriller, the X-Division matches were all good, well aside from Williams-Moore, but Williams cut a really good promo after that match that kind of made up for it.

Match of the night was probably the Ultimate X match. Nothing GREAT on the show, like nothing **** or above, but still a very solid show with some good wrestling through out. If I had bought the PPV I would've probably felt I had gotten my money's worth. Ending to the show sucked though.

I had quite the hearty chuckle at your comment about how you can't wait for Kurt Angle to die so the WWE can release a DVD set of him Jake.

I would never think you were joking when it comes to dead wrestlers.

What are you doing online at this late hour Jake? You're usually never online after noon my time.

The main even ended in a no contest.

Don't they learn not to do that in the first class of Booking 101 or something?

Eh, not the first time that's happened. Made sense atleast, AJ retains and you don't make Abyss look weak by losing. Still, silly ending.

X, was Destination X worth watching? I'm thinking of downloading it sometime this week. If not I don't want to be bothered finding it.

Definitely, some solid wrestling on the card. If you just want to skip to the good parts, watch the Ladder match, the Ultimate X match, Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson, and the main event. The main event had a shit ending, but the match itself was quite good up until that point. Also Doug Williams cut a really good promo after beating Shannon Moore. Those were the highlights of the show basically, worth seeking out to watch those matches if nothing else.

Not bad. Went to a pretty fun party on Saturday, got caught up on some movies I've been meaning to watch for awhile, discovered some KILLER new music. How about yourself?

Oh and I just literally cannot stop listening to this song, the guitar from 1:00 on in the song is so fucking mind-orgasmingly catchy, like, I don't understand how they came up with something so catchy.

Officially my favorite song of 2010 so far.

Had a boring and uneventful party on Friday and then played a pretty rough game of football on Saturday. I think I may have a concussion, as I was kicked square in the face (thought I broke my nose) and was knocked out for a few seconds and then about 45 minutes later I got kneed right in the side of the head and I thought it was Sunday. And now today I feel like crap, catching a cold and my head hurts.

I love that chorus and sound so much. Seriously, that's damn awesome and I'd probably agree with you on the favorite song of 2010 so far if I hadn't discovered that Beatdrop had released three albums.

What's up? I've slacked a bit in bar activity a little lately. Sorry, but at least it was for good reasons.

Is that so, what good reasons?

Yeah Surfer Blood and this band Yeasayer so far have made my favorite albums of 2010 thus far, both are fucking awesome.

This song is another ridiculously catchy single, this time from Yeasayer:

Bad news Doc, I was just browsing /mu/ and noticed a thread full of people talking about how disappointingly awful the Protomen were live. I thought of you and was saddened.

Great stuff.

:( :( :(

I refuse to believe it.

Yeah, I'm really digging Yeasayer.

Living life. Did I mention that my dealer refused to get me white? He feels bad because everyone he knows that's bad with it started from stuff he gave them. So that's a bit of a roadblock.

That's kind of a good thing dude, trust me. Shit's RIDICULOUSLY expensive and just not worth it, at all. Stick to da green man.

Living life is always fun. I should do more of that.

Well you know how it is, with most experimental/prog/electronic groups they can often times put on really bad live shows. I imagine it's difficult to reproduce an entire concept album like the Protomen do on stage.

Yeasayer are damn good, they're actually from Rhode Island originally but now they're based in Brooklyn along with Animal Collective. There's a huge and awesome experimental/indie scene going on in Brooklyn right now, it's amazing.
