I bought the game today and i find it confusing...why change all the controls it dosent make sense btw its been released now because it was released on friday (nov 10th)

i like the game. im triple h in the storyline, and i just got done with backlash, where i beat the hell outta rvd in a hardcore match. i like the analog stuff, but can someone explain how to use the steel steps and announce tables and stuff like that? thanks

Has anyone done the GM mode yet. It doesn't come out for a couple of weeks or something here and I'm wondering if it's any good.

havnt really played GM mode....its generally the same,except now ur "Smackdown"show consists of Velocity AND Smackdown,although Velocity is optional. Same thing for Raw.Except with the Raw show,u get Heat (Obviously).


oh,and u can buy writers and storylines and start fueds between people.Pretty interesting stuff.I only played it for about 10mins though coz i got this and CoD3 on the same day haha.

does anybody know how to get jeff hardy? because it says on cheatcc.com that u go to the cheats part in options, and hold L2 and R2, and press square twice and triangle twice, but i cant find the cheats part in options? somebody help

I noticed a pretty bad glitch in the game. In some of the matches, the commentators will talk about wrestlers that are not even participating in the match. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm gettin the game tomorrow. Only comes out here (New Zealand) tomorrow. The walking looks really stupid on the videos I've seen. Is this true?

the walking is ok. i was in a season with hhh, and i got to no way out with the belt, but lost cuz batista kicks ur ass before the match, so its pretty hard to win. but my first ppv was wrestlemania 22. so does anybody know if u win the no way out, do u seriously go to wrestlemania 23, and see what everything is gonna look like, like the entrance tron?

I don't know about this game but I personally think the commentary sucks. They just repeat everything and just the music was better than the commentary. If they're talking about different wrestlers it's probably a glitch or you probably haven't listened closely enough to the context in which they put them in.

I bought the ps2 version yesterday because i'm a poor college student and can't afford a 360 or ps3. I seriously hope the graphics are better on those systems, it appears that on ps2 alot of characters don't have any updates from 06. Batista and Hogan for example look exactly the same. The storylines that I've had with Angle seem a bit better. I hated the new controls so I changed back to the old ones for now. I think the GM mode is alot better. The commentary also is very duplicated from 06.
All and all, it appears to be an update instead of a new game. Maybe I expected more, but there were many more differances and improvements between the first one and 06 than between 06 and 07. My main complaints are the duplications from last year. No elimination chamber, burried alive, or fulfill your fantasy matches. 4 mick foleys for god sake, 1 is too many. I was also dissapointed in that there was no video or theme song for Bam Bam, what the hell? I do like the improvements to realism, GM mode, and the storylines.

it all depends on who you are in season mode cause every time you do it with someone diff on either show it changes...

you do know that in season mode you can play 2 players dont you? all you gotta do is plug in another control and once your next match is about to start it says play or skip or ( then multi) click multi then u can beat ur self up..yea its kinda cheap but it gets through it faster

if you want the older controls from 2006 its control type D. im using those buttons instead and i have used L1 and Circle to trigger the grapple to use the hotspots like stairs and stuff. but when you use that controller type, you move with the directional pad and stuff. but yeah, use the L1 and Circle and move them to that spot.

Anybody know if the TLC match type was fixed... I mean in last years and the year before the tlc match was basically just a hardcore match and not a hardcore ladder match.

Nope, you still cant have a tlc title match, though the weapons in the tlc match are more interactive. Also, i love the chair shots on the game, there far more stiff and awkward looking! Not a great improvement on 2006 though,i must say.
Who is everybodys fave and least fave character? Im really digging being mr kennedy at the minuite,but Khali is auful (is there anything this huy is good at?). He is horrible to fight even though his stats suck,and is impossible to knock down, even though the big show is easy to slam and ways 100+ more, and is only one inch shorter.

I'm using Angle a lot at the moment, he's got the best move set in the game. Wrestling Khali is really annoying, you cant even toe kick him. All the weight divisions are messed up as well ie. only Khali as a ultra-heavyweight and Vito as a cruiserweight etc.

Does anyone know if there's an M.N.M. ring entrance in create a stable?

It was Orton for me when I played Johnny Nitro. I won easily and you do move on to mania, but its Wrestlemania 22 and not 23.

Smackdown vs Raw has been released on the 16th of November not the 23rd.
