Just got back from the Rumble.

As always, they never let the crowd in the building on time.

-before the event they aired a montage of Wrestlemania 22/Tribute to the Troops/superstar media appearances/ect.

-Dark match- JTG vs. Lance Cade.

-Lilian sang an awesome rendition of the National Anthem,,followed by a huge U-S-A chant.

-MNM vs. Hardys was pretty good live. Decent opener..the crowd was still filing in.

-Test vs Lashley was honestly the worst match I've ever seen live..and I've been to over 20 events easily. There were more people in the restrooms for that match than there were before the event started. Horrible. people were yelling out things like "this is 'extremely' hard to watch".

-Kennedy vs. Batista. Surpassed my expectations. The way Batista was playing the leg injury, you could feel the crowd beginning to turn on him. Anyway, batista won and it was a decent match.

-Cena vs. Umaga- Great match. Great match. Cena finished the match with more fans than he started with. Umaga was pulling a Jason Voorhies. Everytime you thought he was dead he kept coming back for more. Excellent match.

The Royal Rumble- Great. obviously the crowd wanted HBK to win, but the crowd never turned on Taker. Undertaker got a huge reaction for the win. Both are Texas guys and each had their share of fans. Surprisingly the Sandman got a really big pop.

-after the event(I'm not sure when it ended on TV) Taker raised his fist in celebration and walked through the curtain. Lilian thanked the crowd for coming.

Good to hear some positive reviews on the PPV, I did order it, but it was blacked out the entire time. Do you know how much that sucks?

Great PPV! I enjoyed each and every match.

I understand the frustrations of the ECW Title match not being extreme, and that it ended in a count-out but it was good enough to get 6/10.

MNM/Hardys- 7.5/10 Great way to start the show. Not there best match but with more time together they could steal the show at WM23.

World Title Match- 8/10 In all honesty Mr. Kennedy carried Batista to a good match. I was starting to pull for Kennedy when it was all said and done. Hopefully this feud continues at No Way Out.

WWE Title Match- 10/10 Great Match! These two let it all come out in this Last Man Standing match. I especially loved the ending, it was very ingenius. Cena once again proves why he deserves his main event status.

Royal Rumble Match- 8.5/10 Definite improvement over last years. The last five minutes stole the show for me as a fan of HBK and Taker.

I highly recommend people to see this show. Great PPV!

I dunno, Taker winning psised me off. They ALREADY had that feud going, and could've used No Way Out to set up this title match+used the RR to set up a new Raw storyline. Oh well, If one of Rated R.K.O won it they might've split up anyway.

Really good RR until the winner IMO. Even though I hate Shawn and DX Taker winning it was just for the sake of him getting a win at a RR.

Iff your a fan of DX then having hbk not winning the rumble is a good thing , b/c maybe he wants to carry on feuding with rated rko and bring in a new DX member. I Knew taker was gonna win anyway becasue did you see the royal rumble match pic on www.wwe.com , undertaker was in the middle with his straps down..he only does that when he wins =)

I'm delighted Taker won. Usually I get pissed off if someone enters really late then wins the Rumble match, but last nights Rumble match (especially at the final 4 stage) was booked so well. Even though Taker came in number 30 you felt he really had to work hard to get the victory, kudos to the booking team and kudos to HBK, yet again the showstopper put on another amazing performance.

I still get the feeling HBK is destined for the WM main event on the RAW side of things against John Cena.

I thought that the end of the Rumble match was amazing, it had so many twists and turns; I was on the edge of my seat. Did anyone else get the same awesome feeling when HBK and Taker were both lying on the mat after HBK had elmininated RRKO, and Taker sat up, turned around, and HBK got up too? That moment, and the last 5 minutes of the Rumble match absolutely stole the show for me because the ending was booked so well and despite being a huge Taker fan, I really didn't think he was going to win it, so when he did I was delighted.

The ECW match sucked, especially the ending. It pains me to see matches like this when talents like RVD and Lashley could do so much better, and ECW on the whole could. And of course, there was nothing extreme about it and it ended on a freaking count-out! At least it was only 7 minutes.

I enjoyed the Hardys/MNM match but I don't think it was as good as some of the other matches between these teams. The Last Man Standing match was good, although I would have liked to have seen Cena lose because I'm just bored to hell of him. I liked the Kennedy/Batista match, great performance from Kennedy and I wish he would have won.

And that backstage skit with Orton/Edge/Kelly Kelly/Booker still has me laughing.

Sitting there watching the royal rumble live...now onword to WM!!!..I was pulling for both Taker and HBK and it was awesome i almost fell over the railing cause of the excitment my god it was great :headbanger:

Having Taker win the rumble was the smartest decision wwe could have made. Now Taker can say he has accomplished everything in his career.

The Undertaker deserves the spotlight on what might be his last Wrestlemania. Defeating Cena is smart and allows him to immediately feud with Umaga or Shawn Michaels. If he loses, it makes John Cena an instant legend, and I have to say I would still be disappointed although it isn't as bad as Batista.

He was never king of the ring though was he?
