for that matter when was the last time the title was vacated. I dont think they will vacate it, i think wwe right now is to dumb to realize they have struck rating gold and i doubt their will be a tourney, even though i will love it. I think that somehow this will get misbooked in into ortons hands wich it needs to be given to cena since hes their only hope

I am so happy that Batista is hurt again, because it proves that he can't wrestle and should be release just like Kennedy. I mean the guy is always getting hurt I will bet he puts the blame on someone else. In this steriod era of wrestling, all of the WWE top talent is getting hurt, hell on HBK is the only guy who isn't getting hurt outside of old age.

These guys need to learn that while steriods heel the body, it also tears the body up and in Batista case has proven in injury after injury. I'm glad he is hurt as it gives the WWE a chance to put the WWE Championship on a superstar without them getting over on Orton and setting up a big match at SummerSlam.

This is really only a 20 hour thread, but for those who don't know, Batista tore his triceps and will undergo surgery on Tuesday.

Despite the injury, he still won the title at Extreme Rules in the cage against Orton and has been written into Monday Night Raw.

So... what happens to the belt ???

Lets all remember that Vicki Guerrero is GM and she is married to Edge who ironically lost his strap too... hmmmmm ??!!

Dude Edge and Vickie got 'kay-fabe' divorced last night so there not "married" any more. It was a backstage segment last night. Just thought I'd let you know.

Anyways back to the topic. YES! Boretista is injured so we will se a new champion soon! Altho I don't know why they made Orton drop the title. But my guess is that they did it so Orton could be pist off and damage him more severly come Monday night.

Batista pulled a kennedy aint that something. Batosta been way past his prime since he debuted and all the steroids in the world won't stop him from being prone to injuries. I think orton should get the title back I don't believe its ortons fault for the ratings it more about raw as a whole suffering and wwe rehashing past fueds and not being fresh.

Eh...I'm not really worried about this so much. Batista will be gone by the end of 2010, and he'll have one of the worst legacies ever. I expect this guy to be dogged on more so than The Ultimate Warrior, and that would be pretty sad considering the fact that WWE released a character assassination on Warrior which they only half-heartedly tried to disguise as a documentary/video memoir.

I can't stand Batista, and his inexplicable popularity always baffles me: he's slow as shit, he's horrible on the mic, and his wrestling leaves much to be desired. But, don't worry, we only have to endure him for a year and a half more.

If they were to give the title back to Randy Orton tonite it would be a great opportunity to give Legacy a push... first, have Ted and Cody attack the tag champs... then have Orton use his rematch clause and completely fly off the deep end with rage and put Batista out... now I personally want a new champ but we all know how bad creative is on Raw...
