Kassius Ohno VS. Lars Sullivan
Lars Sullivan has been built up as the new monster in NXT. He has had significant victories over No Way Jose, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch. Most of his matches have been squashes and Sullivan is still undefeated. However, this match hasn't had much build. Sullivan was in the midst of a post-match attack on his opponent recently only to be stopped by Kassius Ohno. And the latter requested a match against Sullivan which was accepted by William Regal.

Aleister Black VS. The Velveteen Dream
Basically, Aleister Black was speaking for the first time in NXT, talking about his career. The Velveteen Dream interrupted him and called him "afraid". The latter didn't stop provoking Black and tried multiple times to make Black say his name while Black never bothered to. Black challenged Dream for this match which was then accepted soon.

Peyton Royce VS. Kairi Sane VS. Ember Moon VS. Nikki Cross
Asuka relinquished NXT Women Championship after an injury. Kairi Sane won Mae Young Classic to qualify for this title match. Peyton Royce defeated Liv Morgan & Nikki Cross to qualify. Ember Moon defeated Ruby Riot & Sonya Deville to qualify. And Nikki Cross won a Battle Royal to qualify.

NXT Championship
Drew McIntyre © VS. Andrade Cien Almas
Andrade Cien Almas has had a nice overhaul of his character, thanks to Zelina Vega. The latter has provided some major boost to Andrade. Andrade has gotten some big victories over Johnny Gargano (Twice) and Roderick Strong. Vega basically provoked Drew McIntyre multiple times to get the match and McIntyre accepted and was laid out twice by the clever challenger.

SAnitY VS. Undisputed Era VS. Roderick Strong & Authors Of Pain
SAnitY - Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain
Undisputed Era - Adam Cole (BAYBAY!), Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly
So, SAnitY defeated Authors Of Pain to win the Tag Team Championship at TakeOver: Brooklyn III. However, Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly laid out both the teams after the match. Undisputed Era tried to convince Roderick Strong to join them but Strong joined Authors Of Pain leading to this big gimmick match returning after 20 years!

Rules - Each group selects one member to start the bout inside the cage, while the remaining team members are locked inside shark cages by the entrance way. After five minutes, the final two members from one team enter the match, giving that group a brief yet brutal advantage. Three minutes later, the second team’s members are released, followed by the final team’s competitors following another three-minute period. Once all nine Superstars are inside the ruthless steel structure, the first competitor to pick up a pinfall or submission earns the victory for his side.

ENJOY!

P.S- Check "Spoilers" below the specific matches to get a glimpse what the story is. Sorry for too long post. Also, for posting it too early.

DA WOAH GAMETH

Well kind of, since the cage won't have a roof on it.

It's still inexcusable they arent using Dunne vs Gargano for tonight.

I watched very little WCW in its time so this will be my first War Games (which, from what I'm hearing, won't be exactly like the original but whatevs). Meant to check out one on the Network but wound up being too busy. I'm pretty pumped.

Disappointed that my boys Burch and Lorcan still haven’t made their TakeOver debuts, but at least we another mean guy match.

Lars Sullivan is pretty great

That was all it needed to be, just two dudes pummeling each other. Was hoping we'd get a Ishii/Shibata like spot where they just sit there and kill each other, but regardless that was pretty fun. Ohno stomping out Lars was gnarly

Mark Andrews! With Eddie Dennis getting a tryout, it'd be cool to see FSU in NXT.
